  7. np I got one or two flights with the 109 and the Spit yesterday Cant say much yet, but they flew both stable and what I saw of the AI was good too .... the 109 has a landing problem, they make a touch and go and then fly on ... from my flight of 5 wingos only 2 landed very late, near the rwy end the other 3 kept going, gear and flaps down .. heading straight down the rwy axis for many miles at ~ 600 ft In the Spitfire cockpit ini, replace the PitchSolid section with the data below for a proper VSI [PitchSolid] Type=VERTICAL_VELOCITY_INDICATOR NodeName=needleVASI MovementType=ROTATION_Z ValueUnit=FPM Set[01].Position=-163.0 Set[01].Value=-4000.0 Set[02].Position=-113.0 Set[02].Value=-3000.0 Set[03].Position=-72.0 Set[03].Value=-2000.0 Set[04].Position=-33.50 Set[04].Value=-1000.0 Set[05].Position=00.00 Set[05].Value=0.0 Set[06].Position=33.50 Set[06].Value=1000.0 Set[07].Position=72.0 Set[07].Value=2000.0 Set[08].Position=113.0 Set[08].Value=3000.0 Set[09].Position=152.0 Set[09].Value=4000.0
  8. Yea I was pretty sure that its not a new invention ;D I thought about blacking out the area surrounding the sight but since the bombardier can look away from the sight and through the cockpit nose glazing I decided to keep the area clear .... Perhaps making a version 2 with blacked out area ... Actually thats a even more interesting way of bombing.. then the player has to adjust view angle manually for early target acquiring and lineup... hmmm..

View File SF2 Korean War Era F-86F GunVal Sabre Pak UPDATE UPDATE for http://combatace.com...nval-sabre-pak/ Small adjustments: - ammo capacity increased to 115 rpg - new T-160 gun with correct muzzle velocity and ROF of 1500 rpm and no entry for tracer tga * - shell ejection set to TRUE (only the links were retained inside) - aircraft weight increased by 76 kg - Cockpit fixes: + CGCockpitOffset=TRUE added + cockpit POV height offset set to 0 + cockpit height position synchronized with pilot height position * M39 cannon V0 and ROF are different . There was no 20-mm tracer ammo in Korea (only had API, HEI and a practice round) but they tipped API rounds into beeswax which gave a smoke trail when fired - wasnt perfect since the smoke trail was short ranged. Removing the tracer tga entry from the gun makes it a easy lookalike effect. Have fun The KAW Mod Team Submitter Crusader Submitted 12/06/2012 Category F-86

  13. If bombs are dropped just a split second too late it looks like that... Havent tested from high alt ... 5 km or so was max alt so far Dropping a stick of 8x 250 kg bombs from a steady level flight with hitting the bomb button at the right time its accurate enough ... Proper interval setting is also important Now add some enemy fighters to the scenario and things get interesting....

  15. I made this thing for He 111 and Ju 88 Its set up as CCIP sight, looking VERY loosely like a German Lotfe sight reticle .. sort of. The 2 triangles are roll tabs to make it easier to keep wings level Usage: - near target, select bombs, open bombbay if required - switch cockpit OFF ( Numpad DEL by default) and move the view full down ( Numpad arrows or CTRL+arrows or wahtever the keys are) until the sight comes into view - use Zoom to further change the view as required ( looks a bit like looking through a sight .... with some imagination ... - line up the target early, use small roll inputs - push into a shallow dive at high altitude to get the reticle into view and better aiming - drop bombs when bottom edge of target hits top edge of the horizontal yellow line And I updated the bomb positions on the A-Team He 111 to make them sit properly in the vertical bays

  19. Gun ammo capacity can be increased to 115 rounds for each gun :)
  20. The component for the props - i use the same method but saved some lines cause I simply use the Spinner node which comes first in the hierachy I'll try the FMs in my BoB install ... you can add Synchronized=True to the MG17 ( thats reducing ROF by 10 % or so) and 109 fuel capacity is 304 kg ( 400 liter x 0.76 kg/Liter for B4 87 Octan fuel) Spitfire, ammo capacity was 300 rounds each for all 8 guns found a loadout imgage I made Spitfire1A_Loadout.7z
  21. I use it in SF2 WWII installs already and have updated the cockpit ini, new gunsight and ammo capacity...
