  2. Check options - there has to be measurement units setting somewhere - choose English. That'll change units displayed in game's HUD.
  3. First Eagles без экспаншена? Хм.. Самолеты в папке Aircraft, содержимое Weapons скопировано в Weapons игры. А... на экране брифинга перед вылетом, в закладке Loadout (не помню, как перевели - там где вооружение выбирается) - вроде, эти льюисы нужно в меню подвесов выбрать, тогда они на модели появятся.

  5. But being "captured" over own field is strange. Do Arabs have special net-planes to catch ejected pilots?

  8. This afternoon I was sent on Armed Recon in WoI (and barely escaped), so when engine update comes the rest of series might get the feature as well.
  9. eg shadow system is completely redone (first in FE:EP I think) and planes look more 3D than ever. Even smallest surfaces are casting shadows without the need of a special crude shadow LOD.
  10. The review is like an add-on to reviews of previous games in the series I don't play MP and must admit enjoy stock AC a whole lot. AI rocks, campaigns are never boring. Already bought WoE and WoV and now wait for engine update. Ain't it a sign of a great game Don't care much for 100% detailed simulation as it turns a game into a job...
  11. After dozens of stalls and slips in 6 day war I figured it out myself and started doing vertical turns and stopped pulling stick like crazy. And if you got a ****load of MiGs on your tail don't try to make a nice big turn - hit the airbrakes, cut throttle, pull up. They usually miss their guns and don't have time for proper missile lock - then can't brake in time and slide right in your sights.
  12. I think each forum member shoud get a set of "kill marks" showing how many topics were downed by their high-precision Monty Python quoting. Assists should be counted too. Marks like the Knight of Ni head... or butt pipers.. or much rejoicing.. or the curtains.. or Tim.. and the Legendary beast of AAAGH! and that's only one movie. Romani ite domum. And of course, "The salmon mousse". Those who don't participate will be marked with Mr.Gumby.
  13. WE spell it easily cause in Russian it's got only 7 letters Yeah, that's M-55. Seen it on MAKS-2007 very close... didn't realise before how huge it is. BTW, I think I got loads of pictures of stuff from that airshow, both mine and some downloaded from torrents (even with video!)... but so far I found the strength only put up >this gallery. Don't get jealous, I did it for EECH team

Извлекаются из любой игры ThirdWire вот этой утилкой http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...mp;showfile=343 weapondata вроде в ObjectData.cat лежит, но там файлов дочерта и придется список внимательно рассматривать. С миссиями - хз. Сам попробовал в WoI - ни танков ни кораблей. И базу с полезными сведениями как назло сейчас реорганизовывают... А в каком самолете анимация глючит?
  18. WoI's AI is so aggressive it feels like shameless cheating when you don't give them a chance to shoot you on the way home by pressing Esc. Manual takeoff is fun - load A-4 with maximum possible number of Rockeyes and you'll see.

  21. I heard such calls today before our flight hit the enemy tanks. Used freecam and F6. No unusual smoke markers or special planes, but there was a stray A-4 with three droptanks and rocket pods. Apparently it just nailed one of the Arab tanks with a rocket and that made some smoke.

  23. Ok.. and TK said it were later variants that got some advanced avionics. Just noticed that when you select bombs or rockets the sight stays the same but shifts to a lower position to help aim a little. And that's why you can't hit a thing with gun when rockets are active. So Skyhawk has some sort of rudimentary aiming assist...
  24. I'm not talking about target position, automatic bomb release etc. Airspeed + radar altitude + relatively known bomb/rocket flightpath + CPU = caculation of impact point on supposedly flat terrain. In WOI Kfir's radar works that way, if I'm not mistaken.
