I loved BF1942 when it came out....I thought the single player was awesome. Then I went into multiplayer and was totaly unimpressed with most of the modes. I fell to America's Army, with more modern combat, but then went back to playing Call of Duty for a bit....untill I tried Multiplayer. Got BFV, and was about to thow a brick thru the window of Dice and EA I was so upset.... I'm hoping they redeem themselves with BF2. I'm anxiously waiting its arrival to my doorstep. Fates

If you looking to play MP online Jedi, then you will enjoy certain modes of this game depending on what you like/dislike. I personally think the MP COOP against AI on simulaiton is very close to the real world situations. This is what a sim should be. It also offers other options if you just want to run and gun and have some fun. It's a well rounded game in multiplayer. If single player is your thing, like with Buff, you WILL be dissapointed. It could be that OFP 2 will NOT published by Codemasters. Check in on This Thread at the BI forums and E3 this week for updates on this breaking news! I'm sure we'll know alot more in the coming days as BIS entertains at the E3 show. Let's hope to see much more information.

The Skins are currently set up by the aircraft that they apply to. It would be much simpler to add more aircraft to the current list then to lump all Soviet skins into one category. I think this is what you had in mind to begin with, and something that we should work towards solving in our database. Thanks for the input Fates

WIth the exception of post accident fire, I would have taken my chances staying in the cockpit, but I see two chutes which makes me wonder.... Do the pilots have individual ejection ability, or if one goes...does the other go? I wouldn't want to stay in the cockpit without the canopy in tack, or the support beam between the seats. Fates

Juist picked up this game yesterday and I'm beginning to enjoy it. I've only played about an hour, but when you've played America Army for: Username: ODB_Fates Userrank: Specialist Honorlevel: 80 Tracked since: 08.06.2003 (689 days) Total time played: 714.9 hours (1 hrs. per day) Longest Session: 04:01:35 Old habits are hard to break. I'm still trying to fumble my way thru the game mechanics. I'm liking many things, but finding other things frustrating for now....hopefully that will change. Fates

Word of mouth/internet reviews travels fast. BF:V was complete waste of money IMHO. ATI unfriendly, and truely not much more then the original. BF1942 was a great game, and the mods are even better. I'm hoping, as are many ppl, that BF2 will live up to what it should. I sincerely doubt EA or DICE can take another hit like BF:V, and REdux should be a free if not maybe $5 website download. If BF2 doesn't stand up to the great game Bf:1942 was, you will see an end to that series IMHo.
