From the album: My Crusader skins

  2. I have recently experienced a problem with the attachment section, as i'm unable to upload pics. I did notice a change, though, as there some confusing messages there, particulary that one about the attachment space used. I'm not sure whether other users here have the same problem or what caused this, but I would be happy if could be resolved somehow.
  3. I can do that, once it's finished. I need to repaint the markings first and I'm still not happy with the color of the intake section. Something else I'm currently working on: This is actually some sort of first draft. Unfortunately I'm still struggling getting the outer wing sections right. And a few other things I need to do again.... Btw, what is going with the attachment section? Why do I get this odd message "Attachment space used 9.15MB of 5MB"? Not to mention that I'm unable to upload pics here...? (Hence the use of Imageshack)
  4. If this really is restricted material then it should not be available on Rapidshare, nor should somebody make any advertising for it. Just my two cents here.
  5. WOE's object.cat contains all the LOD and data files of the previous games, it just doesn't provide you with the skins and .ini files needed to make them appear in game....
  6. Let's hope that this is a WIP image...
  7. Sure, WOV has the F-15A and the A-10, but it's no more modern than WOV. I do have WOE, but to be honest, I'm not really fond of its campaigns or the terrain. To me WOE simply doesn't have the same appeal as WOV.
  8. Thanks for the offer, but the search for this decal provided me with some ideas for a few additional skins.
  9. Well, I found a decal set (actually just a high-rez image of it) that allowed me to create a proper tailcode for VFP-206.
  10. The AI pilots are able to use ARM missiles like the Shrike or HARM, so in theory it could be possible to sink ships with missiles as long as they pretend to be a floating SAM site. Of course, this idea needs to be tested first, preferrably with on a Blue Sea map and a stand-alone install. But it seems to me that this kind of workaround is not what some are looking for here...
  11. You can add screen shots to your post as an attachment. Just like I did. Besides, any campaign can edited to include additional types of aircrafts...and it's not that difficult at all.
  12. Say what? IMHO the best Corsair model available. I have to admit, though, that it took me awhile to get used to its prop animation... It makes flying (and not to mention air-to-mud work) at low speeds a bit tricky. Also, could somebody explain to me why this magnificent aircraft (and its French relative, the F4U-7) isn't uploaded here at Combatace?
  13. I replied to two different questions there. My remark about the pit file had nothing to do with the TER/MER racks. Drop sequence of the racks and the ripple quantity/intervals are not related at all.
  14. I finally figured out which colors I should use for the textures: Well, I guess that's it...for now. There are of course some details that could be improved, the TPS scheme isn't 100% correct, but for the time being it will have to do. I always wanted to have a Crusader with a low-viz paint job and here it is.
  15. Good pics. That Frogfoot is probably one of those two seat models the Russian Navy uses for training purposes.
  16. Thanks. I'm still trying to get this scheme right and I guess that's still a long way to go. Anyone see any differences between these two? (It's not the missing rescue marking. I simply forgot to add that layer. D'oh!)
