We have about a billion of those black ball things at my high school. Thing is, half of them don't work and the ones that do don't work very well. Now, about this helicopter thing. From what I have gleaned from history books and personal experience, Americans are endlessly stubborn. If the sort of semi-fanatic people I see around town don't want surveillance, they'll picket, march, whine, yell out from the audience on talk shows, rage, complain, post on little-read blogs, hold up signs in the background of Good Morning America, lobby, and make bumper stickers until it's either gone or they've moved to Canada.

I love everything about the 80s. Even though I was never part of it, it fascinates me. Musically, any year that included Journey or Queen is great. WarGames was a fantastic movie.

Best analogy ever?

This is unsettling to look at. I can understand its historical significance, but it feels like an exhumation. Seeing this rusty, waterlogged sub feels like looking inside a tomb. My favorite are the Red Army generals. You know, the kind that make extremely boring MSPaint/Windows Movie Maker pro-communism movies and post them on YouTube. If you disagree with them, their wrath will rain down from the sky. Or rather, from the single-finger typing of 12 year olds: "F*CK YOU F*CKER BLAH BLAH BLAH CAPITALISTICS BLAH BLAH BLAH YOUR A GAY ETC".

I love civil aviation. I live near to the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International, and the level of traffic has gotten to the point where I can identify a Cessna 172 by sound, and one of Borgess Hospital's helicopters by the shaking windows.
