  2. well it is official : I lost all data so the groundobjects, like opel blitz, praga, halftracks etc wont be ever released :-( the only Stuka that could be released is the beta i sent to few people... airfields lost....I AM OUT!!! sorry Monty CZ

Veltro I have opposite approach than Stary, lets say I have separate meshes fuselage, vert tail, rudder, antene and maybe somesmall parts on fuselage first I set the different vertex colors for each separate mesh then I connect all meshes into one Then it is simple plannar UVW unvrap from the side then in the UVW unvrap tool I choose top and bottom faces and set them plannar from the top you have sides and top/bottom in the same size then I move rotate mirror each part of UVW map as I want, I see all parts on my UVW map so I can draw rivets around small intakes etc. sometimes I want to map small parts differently so I separate the mesh again using "choose by vertex collor" then separate...UVW unvrap again, edit as I want...easy but time consuming :-( Monty CZ

  7. Thank you, I'll try it as soon I will have my computer repaired train seems easy ONE smokestack per factory is easy - I will make separate chimney object and one factory would be bunch of objects combined together my trains arent moving, they just fires from AAA wagoons :-) Monty CZ
  8. Hello all, can you tell me what inis controls things like smoke on generator buildings lights if they are available for buildings etc? I thought that I understand emiters in ground objects data inis but how is it in case of buildings I want to add: 1) smoke to my train engines, which are set like target types using groundobjects. The smoke emitter in ground objects data ini seems not working :-( 2) smoke to my factories 3) something like flare emiters to iluminate airstrips in night can anybody help? MontyCZ

For my fellow Stuka betatesters: hello, do you have ideas how to set inis for: 1) AI dive bombing 2) gunner on player plane shooting above the target (AI gunner is like sniper :-( ) 3) better FM - it slow and unstable around Z axis (yaw) 4) fuel amount - where are the tanks and how much fuel it had in RL etc etc Thank you Monty CZ

If you are really interested in model creation I would suggest to start with buildings or ground objects You will learn the tricks and it is usualy easier (easy to make data.ini too) after some time you will see if you want to do that :-) One big plus - we always need more targets :-) This is better than to do "high-poly banana", call it a fuselage and then end the work because "it is not that easy as I thought" Welcome aboard Monty CZ

  18. the future of this title is not in another DLC plane (yes maybe F-16 could be popular enough to pay for its own costs) the future is not in another theatre - really what we get from NA ? is it realy THAT good to be called another title? the future is in people who wants to fly it (or play it) and why the people would do that? they will know that this title simulate the flight that good or they could fly against or with another pilots = multiplayer we dont have multiplayer...realy? today without multiplayer? and how many pilots on earth (Yes I am talking about few million people who could be interested) know anything about SF2? I feel like I am the only one from our country (one of six million people) HOW to tell another people that we have something interesting here? that is the question! so you have the planes modeled visually and physically very well you have AI which can fly it (if you accept the pros and cons of the game engine) you have dynamic campaign generator!!! you dont have good graphic engine you dont have good world where to fly you dont have the STORY (I am the pilot in a campaign and I want to survive to fly another day) the community is a bunch of individuals flying their modded individual titles. You need the masses (a lot of users) to continue this business you can start your DLC business if you have few thousands core users but it looks like our community have about 5000 members max this is the only title which dont need a crack if I could say. I can download exe file instal on my computer and send the file to my buddy to install it too. WHY? TK need to implement something to prevent this and his sales could double. As you can see I dont have answers just some questions :-) Monty CZ

  20. Yes it is the one side mesh and due to the limitations of graphic engine and Z buffer I didnt make the material 2 sided. It is barely visible from the air so it was good enought for me If you need 2 sided and you are happy with what it does with other TGA objects behind I can reexport it. Monty CZ
