I just installed LOMAC and FC yesterday and didn't have to do any rebooting except did after installing Starforce update driver. One step is missing if you are on Vista/Win7. You need to download and install latest Starforce update driver. Here's my install that works fine for me on Win7 64bit. Install LOMAC>install FC>install seasons patch (optional)>install 1.12b patch>install updated starforce driver>reboot>run game and enter serial code for Starforce and activate. http://www.star-force.com/support/drivers/ You want the driver under heading 2.

Yea, that was simhq owner Guod. They mention it in their recent end of year article and tell neoqb to stop doing that. neoqb say they are going to make it so SP doesn't require internet connection eventually. The sooner the better because all I play is SP and like to disco from internet when I play SP games. The longer you are connected to the internet the greater the chance of getting hacked. I have Docsys modem and it has disco button and I use it regularly but can't with RoF.

My first mission on Xmas eve crashed when I pressed the X key. Grrr! Haven't been back in though because I was too busy ordering cheap games from Steam and Gamersgate over the holidays. Ended up with 25 games from Steam and 3 from GamersGate.

Why clouds only 2? In CFS3 I have always used 4 and is what I set OFF to also. I also think if you set the config file for FSAA it should work. Does in CFS3 and I don't like to change my vid card settings all the time so prefer it when games have their own settings for FSAA.

Norton is supposedly quite good now and not a resource hog like it used to be. When I installed OFF this morning Avira detected a trojan in the 'OFFManager.exe' but I scanned it wiht Malwarebytes manually and was clean so just added it to Avira exceptions list. You have to be careful with these AV progs because if you allow them to auto delete or quarantine a suspected file and it is a system file then it can pooch your system. That happened to thousands of people just 2 weeks ago because Avast update was bad and detected virii in a ton of Windows system files and people had the default auto qauarantine set. I always set my AV to report only for that reason. If you ever get a file you are not sure about then go to the below url and have it scanned with multiple engines for free. http://virscan.org/

Thanks. Must be my lucky day so think I will buy a lottery ticket today. There is no little lady here so I can do as I please. :) That was just a quick mission and forgot to check the box to make me invincible so had to create a new pilot after this mission as I flew too low over the front line. Will start campaign next and select favorable season, also need to go into the config and disable the rain effects as I am not a fan of it. It's running smoothly though and am using 3 for scenery and terrain even though I have 5870 vid card and i5 750 OC to 3.8ghz. I like to ensure good fame rate as I can't enjoy flight sims with poor frame rate. Might turn on FSAA though as it should handle it fine.
