  1. Happy Birthday!
  2. That's not realistic, nor is it workable, as 100% is the highest setting for that parameter. An accuracy value of 90% ensures that 90% of that weapon's rounds follow a "common" trajectory. If the trajectory is off, due to deficiencies in tracking, then what difference would a setting of 100% make, other then to make all your shells miss? The real answer is to set the range finder and ballistic computer values on those weapons that were historically radar-directed, to 9 or 10, and to then network them to a suitable fire-control radar (such as the SON-9A).
  3. More than likely, the offending model node (probably the fuselage) has its "ShowFromCockpit=" parameter set to "FALSE". Edit it so it reads "ShowFromCockpit=TRUE".
  4. Thank Stary, that was one of his tips.
  5. In the bulletobject.ini, edit the following parameter: MinBulletMach=0.7 <-----edit this to 0.3
  6. Since the destroyed.lods share the same cat file with all the other files that are specific to that aircraft, I'd say it's safe to assume that they'd be linked to the aircraft folder. BTW....as long as you're using the default TW destroyed lods, why even bother extracting them?
  7. Lift lines would most likely require a new cockpit .lod for each aircraft, though it may be possible to add it using FastCargo's copilot method.
  8. Sometime after 1965-66, The USAF stopped sending F-100s into North Vietnam (other than those tasked as Wild Weasels and Misty FACs), due to their poor performance when stacked up against VPAF MiG-17s. I suggest that you stick to the F-4 and F-8 series, as they did much better againt the VPAF MiGs.
  9. Perhaps Joe McCarthy and the HUAC was on the right track in regards to Hollywood, back in the 1950s.
  10. I have done work for OSHA and the IRS. I have access to the same type of machine that Jedi's probably referring to. It trashes everything, even the microcode ID in the drive's chips...and, it's also used by the NSA.
  11. JSF_Aggie's birthday.....
  12. OK, if it's only hapening on that one terrain (The Range), you need to check the "Range_Types.ini" in the range terrain folder. See if all the entries have this parameter: TargetValue=XX (where XX is a numerical value)
  13. Try running it from inside a winRAR archive.
  14. I've sent Julhelm a Beta FM, that needs some minor fine tuning. The only holdups are (as always), are those related to real life responsibilities and activities .
  15. You did not answer the most important question that Migbuster asked. Is this cropping up only in selectable (scripted) missions, or, is it also happening in randomly-generated single missions?
  16. Happy Birthday, Otto!
  17. Not really true. I can easily render a drive 100% unreadable by anyone, without smashing it or burning it. Is your friend a betting man?
  18. There is no folder named "Mods" The ThirdWire folder under "Saved Games" (Vista/Win7). or "My Documents" (2000/XP) is what we refer to as the "Mods" folder.
  19. NOT TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.amazon.com/Associated-Electrics-Inc-Unobtanium-Shock/dp/B0006MZUC0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1262030771&sr=8-2
  20. Ba, Impervium is inferior to Unobtanium. Why not simply create an entire aircraft from Unobtanium? Spars, frames, bulkheads, skin, etc....
  21. That depends.... Several years ago, Dave (USAFMTL) and I were testing a new model under multiplayer. I had set the ECM value of that model to a grossly unrealistic level. It was so effective, that even when Dave switched to guns in LCOS mode, his pipper was jumping all over the combining glass. Needless to say, he could not hold a lock long enough to loose a sparrow at me. When I tried the same model against a ground unit (who's missiles had HOJ enabled) I had SAMs homing in on me even though I broke track. I shot a video of that, and it may still be on our server.
  22. In theory, deceptive jamming projects a false echo away from the jamming source. This mode may supposedly decoy a missile away from you. "Noise" generates noise spikes, or "grass" on the enemy's radar screen, preventing him from acquiring you at long range. It however, can be a double-edged sword...as you also supply an excellent point source for a missile equipped with home-on-jam guidance. Dual mode, is, as the name implies, both deception and noise jamming in unison.
  23. Which .exe are you using? The combo pack should have one master .exe (probably SF2.exe), and the program folder should contain the three additional ones (SF2V/E/I), as well. Make sure that you're starting it with the master.
  24. That's how much rain we've had since Friday evening, coupled with 5 consecutive days of above-freezing temps. The snow was still here Friday morning. The ground's saturated, there's huge standing puddles everywhere. Check out the local forecast for the next 5-days: Today High: 50° Low: 34° Intermittent Clouds Monday High: 42° Low: 23° Rain to Snow Tuesday High: 23° Low: 16° Windy Wednesday High: 32° Low: 21° Partly Sunny Thursday High: 33° Low: 26° Mostly Cloudy
  25. The First image is from is from today (27 December). The second image is from Sunday, 20 December, after a record (for December) 21.5" snowfall. What's missing?
