  2. Get well soon Capt. McCain
  3. I'm aware of the process of adding the text to the soundlist.ini. However I still can't get it to work.
  4. Great looking SAM! I can't get the "SA-6" sound to work however, anybody else have this issue?
  5. Good to hear from Dan Hampton again. Viper Pilot is one of my all time favorite books!
  6. Awesome! Thanks for the info.
  7. Very interesting. Thanks for sharing this cool site.
  8. Great job on all these weapons RC. They truly look exactly like the real things and have really enhanced the SF2 experience. I was wondering if you're planning on making a new AGM-86 and AGM-158?
  9. Dogfights was cancelled back in 2008 without the Falklands episode ever airing. I don't think that episode was ever even produced despite being advertised. Not sure why the series was cancelled after such a short run, but I remember a lot of us fans were upset back then.
  10. After the recent post by migbuster about the F-16 that featured a few words from Pierre Sprey, I was reminded of a great video from last year responding to Sprey's comments on the F-35. As always it shows that Sprey's comments about aircraft he doesn't like are mostly false. It's a great and informative program, even if you're not a fan of the F-35 it's still a great video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-HVY6Fdc2CM
  11. I've read in multiple sources that the first "bubble top" P-47s were delivered to combat groups in May 1944. I'm 100% certain that the 4th, 352nd, 355th, and 359th never flew the bubbletop P-47 since they all converted to the P-51 before the bubbletop P-47 was available. the 361st transitioned to the P-51 the same month the first bubbletop P-47 became available, so I'm 99% certain they never flew the bubbletop P-47. The 358th did fly the bubbletop P-47 but this was only after they were reassigned to the 9th AF. Therefore the only other group that probably flew the bubbletop P-47 was the 356th which transitioned to the P-51 in November of 1944. This website is a good source for the timelines of the 8th AF groups. https://8thafhs.org/fightergrps.htm
  12. Thanks for the help, I copied the squadronlist.ini from the eldo install into the darius install and it worked. It's strange though because the other squadronlist.ini that was already in the darius install had the exact same squadrons already listed and numbered correctly.
  13. I've been having a problem with the decals on the stock SF2NA EA-6B. I have an Operation Eldorado Canyon installation where the EA-6B decals show up fine. I also have an Operation Darius installation and for some reason the decals never show up on the EA-6B. All the skins are from the prowler super pack BTW. I have checked the decals folder in the Darius install and everything that should be there is there, I've tried pretty much everything imaginable to try and fix this issue but to no avail. Has anyone else had this problem too? Thanks
  14. Thanks Yubba, I'll see what this does.
  15. I'm having a strange issue with the sea harrier frs1. Whenever I try to pull positive g's in the aircraft SF2 will crash. No other aircraft has this problem and I can't figure out what is going on. Any ideas?
  16. That's a great book! Still have my copy I got back in '06. Osprey is certainly the best publisher of military books.
  17. Yeah that's what I thought too, but I checked and it's not there. I could've sworn I had one once.
  18. Wasn't there a Saudi skin for the Tornado F3 available somewhere? I know I had one in the past but I can't seem to find it now in my files. It may have been a part of a campaign or other package but I have no idea where it is. I checked the forum and can't seem to find anything. Thanks Everyone
  19. That was awesome, thanks for sharing
  20. Makes sense, thanks everyone
