  1. Oh well, it's no big deal now. Thanks everyone
  2. Loved the book, looking forward to the movie!
  3. Well I got the bombers to fly cruise missile missions but whenever I assign this mission I can't assign the bombers a target in a specific naval group, it just says <none> with no options. Also as lcarus999 said is there a way to allow cruise missile attacks against land targets? I remember in SF2I once I was able to intercept Tu-16's firing AS-5 missiles at land targets which they successfully did, but I haven't seen this in a while.
  4. I'm using a merged SF2 setup that includes SF2NA. I wasn't aware that "cruise missile" was a mission type I'll set up each bomber with this mission type and see if it works. Thanks
  5. Is there a way to get bombers such as the B-52 and Tu-22M to launch cruise missiles when you're intercepting them? I'll fly a mission to intercept a bomber like the Tu-22M, and if it's loaded with cruise missiles it never launches them! Just wanted a more challenging mission and when bombers end up posing no threat it's a big letdown. Any ideas? Thanks
  6. Awesome!
  7. Good Point! Also that nozzle looks like it would give a heat signature from 100 miles away!
  8. Luckily all four crew members survived! Info- http://www.af.mil/News/ArticleDisplay/tabid/223/Article/466899/b-1-lancer-crashes-in-montana.aspx
  9. Wow an F-100! Very cool!
  10. He was one hell of a leader! RIP Adm. Woodward
  11. RIP Col. Day
  12. I'm looking forward to all the new files when the DL's come back, and appreciate all the hard work Erik has been doing! For now though I got my 100GBs of saved files like everyone else!
  13. I'm familiar with Colorado Springs but don't know much about the special "non-chain" restaurants, The airplane restaurant near the airport is pretty cool as it is inside an old KC-97! The food is pretty good and you'll get to watch the nearby air traffic. Definitely ask Typhoid though, as he lives in Colorado Springs. If you have time definitely visit Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods if you like the outdoors.
  14. The same thing has happened to me before, so sorry Wrench. These latest patches have caused 100% negative results with no positive results whatsoever.
  15. In addition to helmet mounted sights I believe there are sensors on the aircraft itself that feed info to the missiles seeker head. The missile then uses its own seeker head of course after launch.
  16. Well I guess I'll just have to learn to live with it then. I'll try editing the environmentsystem.ini though. Thanks Wrench
  17. Just wondering what can be done to darken the terrain since the May 13 patch? This is the IR2003 terrain and it was much less intense pre patch. Thanks
  18. I think I figured it out, just had to make a few edits to the enbseries.ini and the effect is much less noticeable.
  19. No I haven't changed video cards, but I did upgrade drivers. I'll revert to the old drivers and see if it looks better though.
  20. Huh, well I guess I just didn't have it working until now. I've always used DX10 but never noticed it until after installing the May 2013 patch. I assume I should just delete the ForceDX10=True from the options.ini and it will get rid of it? I just ask because I've used DX10 for years and never noticed this.
  21. Has anyone else noticed this issue since upgrading to the May 2013 patch? The sky is so hazy during sunset and sunrise, much more so than before. Any fixes?
  22. WOW!!
  23. In addition to the problems already mentioned, I have been 100% unable to fix shimmering in all terrains and the overall graphics quality is worse in each game than it was pre-patch. Oh well hopefully a fix will come soon!
  24. Hopefully this fire wont be as bad as last year's. Good Luck Typhoid
  25. Yeah that's what I was afraid of. Thanks
