Okay, well I'm falling off the Project 1 Fan Wagon now. I have Un-installed Project 1. It's a Principle thing to me now. I am Now tierd of hearing and using the word Potenial; which means; Capable of being but not yet in existence. and that is exactly how I'm beginning to feel about this Sim. Yes it looks great, and the Flight Models feel good and all but this sim is Incomplete. I paid my money, I've been patiently awaiting a patch, but now, a month later I find myself regretting the purchase because of the nature of the second release. I feel as though a small 300kb patch(just guessing on the size) could have at least fixxed the AAA/SAM issue. Sure, like everyone else I will continue to wait for the patch although no longer patiently, about it, what else can I do. But Strat 1st will get no praises from me when/if it is released, and I seriously doubt I will do business with them in the future. For those who have not purchased this Sim yet, I say Don't buy it until it's fixxed properly period. Do not pay complete price for an incomplete product. To be honest and fair, yes it has... "here comes the *P* word agian". :x TK and crew, please fix this thing already! And consider a new publisher for Project 2. Potential, potential, potential. yeh... okay BirdDogg.

They are nice, Can't wait to see the finished project. BirdDogg. -
Good Question, would like to know the answer to that one myself. BirdDogg.

Dont remember seeing this one posted in the FAQs. Got shot with AAA while playing a Multiplayer mission. The bug is that while in the external view watching the triple A my plane was hit! The canopies were blown and the pilot and reo were automatically ejected (not by me). funny thing is, I still had full control of the Aircraft afterwords. I switch back to cockpit view and still had full authority of the bird, minus the damage stabilator. I loitered around the Airbase I was striking just to see more of the AAA engagement, and after about the 5th pass my plane finally was toast. Freaky but true 8) BirdDogg.

Those were nice shots Seawolf, I've put Strike Fighters down for a minute (just waiting for the patch). Those shot make me want to go home and fire it up! BirdDogg. -
Not just yes but... Hell YES!!!!!!!!!!! Also give us a little insight as to what we can expect (NOTE: not anything that are sworn to secrecy on! :) ) but try and be as discriptive as possible as to what is addressed in the patch. To my knowledge there has been no Official Word. Thanks in advance BirdDogg

Hey PCP, Did you hear something about TK working on Flak and Exposions? I've been away for a couple days, give me an update buddy BirdDogg.

Think Project 2.......... BirdDogg

Seawolf, I don't think your way off, as a matter of fact I think your spot on. I've been a little disappointed with this bird due to it's performance and wanting to use it for ground strike missions. I wasn't expecting anything thing more than what I read about the bird. I hope this gets tweaked BirdDogg. PS good observations.

Hey Rudel, Welcome aboard BirdDogg.

Hey Pcp, I hear ya, but I was under the impression that the AI would be addressed in a patch. My main gripe with this Sim is the Air to Ground effects, even Fighters Anthology had Static object damage modeling. Being a Stike Pilot, and not really a Dogfighter by nature the ground is where I would like to see some good'ol eye candy. I can wait for the other stuff to be fixed, but You can't call it Strike fighters, when there's no real visual representaion of a "Strike" taking place. you might as well call it Fighters :) Still in all I'm having fun BirdDogg 8)

Gotta agree with both Seawolf and PCPilot, I will not however use the word potential. (I just don't like what the spin it puts on things) If the Sams and AAA were working right now I would be getteing toasted I'm sure. This Sim to me does something that few other releases have done in a while (IL-2 not included) and that is put the Fun back into Flightsims without departing from the term Flightsim :) After several sims I can honestly say I'm having Fun and not frustration. Like Seawolf said you can get it now or you can get it a little later but get it nonetheless. BirdDogg 8)

I spent the whole weekend playing Prog-1. Final Verdict = IT'S A KEEPER :). I think you and your crew achieved what I recall you saying was your (developmental mark), posted on SimHq awhile back. Project 1 is IMHO, the perfect middle ground between Hardcore and Light Sim design. Other than the known omittions (AAA/SAMS/Ground Detection) I would like to ask for some enhancements after you guys work on the major stuff. They are: Enhanced Ground Explosions, Debris (Destroyed Building smoking, and scorched earth). Full Mission Editor (with individual object placement Radars, Airbase Static objects). More Ground activity around Airbases. I hope these suggestions, along with others from the community at large, can make it into some of the planned patches and updates. Thanks BirdDogg. 8)

Thank you Dagger! BirdDogg 8) -
IMHO, it would be awesome to import Project 1's Flight models into USAF. Could you imagine USAF's F-4 with Project 1's F-4 flight model and sense of speed? That would be Kick_ _ _ opinions? BirdDogg.

Sempi Fi Hollywood, always nice to see another JarHead, I Crewed on CH53's outta MCAS New River, Did A couple of Med Cruises with composite Frog(CH-46) squadrons. I always liked thoughs birds (46's), very reliable with low down time. Hated working around that rear Clam Shell though :) Welcome Aboard BirdDogg.
