For level bombing, there is a mod using CCIP for the Intruder to represent DIANE. While you don´t need it too much with the A-6 and snakeyes, i used this system instead on level bombers, like B-52s and Vulcans, in lieu of a level bombing system. ...and man, a BUFF campaign over Europe or Vietnam is a rush!

It´s worth remembering that some avioncs features had been covered in a provisional way. There is no Diane, but the Diane (ccip) mod covers it, i got it working even on B-52s and Vulcans. Anyway, before that, youu can "use the Force, Luke" and drop snakeyes wich rarely miss if employed as they seemed to be in RL. About track and shoot at 6 opponents, you can do it manually quite fast, if you ask me, however it´s of little practical use...on the current, usual game environment. Anyways, any improvement in that sense would be a master point in a new sim. New aircraft may be covered with mods, but improvements in the gameplay and new features, as we´ve seen lately, are what keep the sim alive.

I don´t know if anyone saw that before, or if i´m the last to find out. Remember the ever useless "request help" command to Red Crown? Anytime you used it, there were no assets in your area nor anything. I just noticedthat it has been fixed in some way, when out of frustration, i just tried it again. An A-6 two plane flight into Iraq in the Yom Kippur campaign. Got jumped by MiG-21s in our way in, sent the request and "we are sending elp" or kind of. All of a sudden, 8 Shahaks spawned a few miles behind. Couldn´t save my wingman, but took out the MiGs. Again, i flew an Iron Hand single mission in Vietnam, had the same trouble, did the same, and WOSH! 8 NF-5As appeared (merged install). Was it something out of a patch or anything? i never heard of it being fixed, if it was, i missed it, running on Nov 11 patch

Ademas, no es un grupo cerrado, solo pretendo que entre españoles hablemos para sacar adelante lo que sea, no hay un proyecto en concreto ni nada. En fin, de eso se trata. Depende de los simuladores que tenga cada uno, habríamos de ver lo que podemos hacer. Por ahora, aparte de los AV-8S de la Armada, y de varios What If, no hay nada español totalmente terminado, y lamentablemente, perdi gran parte de lo que tenia (Phantom, Mirage F1, etc). Mas que proponer un proyecto en concreto, lo que pretendo es que mantengamos el contacto habitualmente y compartamos ideas cuando sea que surjan

Hay varios miembros Españoles habituales en el sitio, pero no hemos tratado untos dentro de este foro en temas que interesen a mods o temas en general, creo que podriamos organizarmos para hacer nada conjunto ni tratar temas, ni siquiera conocernos. Creo que la comunidad Argentina es un ejemplo de como hacerlo bien, y deberiamos, por lo menos, conocernos y tratar nuestros temas juntos, mantenernos en contacto y estaremos en posicion de hacer algo decente, aunuqe no sean mods, que os parece?

It would be ubercool, but i don´t see it coming since it didn´t have the postwar action of the P-51. Besides NA, i´m waiting for the Mirage F1, anyway. Gotta be great.

I don´t like Gary Brecher "War Nerd" too much, but i agree with him in the fact that you yanks should have bombed the crap out of them when the hostage crisis. Probably not the best for the hostages, but like in jail, sometimes you have to look as the maddest MF around.

I once read an older than dirt magazine (aviation review, i think, 1982) with an article about an exercise in the wich a soon to be retired B-52D flew from the UK to Rammstein to "bomb" the runway. The BUFF got intercepted by Luftwaffe Phantoms, but the bomber pilot claimed that, should that been real, the pantom guys would be with tears in his eyes. I tried to find out how, and using the mission editor replayed it. I ended up with tears in my eyes. Flared out all my winders and it took about a hundred 20mm rounds to kill, with my Phantom getting a 50 cal hole courtesy of Mr Tailgunner.
