After releasing the 100 camos for east german MiG-21's i want to do 100 camo skins for north vietnamese MiG-17F. A first test showed following result: As you see the outer wings are lighter than the rest of the plane. I found out, that it has something to do with the decals. But i dont know, how to handle it. Has someone of you an idea to solve this problem?

In real life there was never a MiG-27K. I had "invented" it as "what if plane" in old WoE days.

100 skins are made now. Two different ways of decalplacement are tested. I hope that i can release the random skins for the MiG-21F, PF, PFM and MF this weekend. Further i tested wheter the skinset would fit on other planes, just for fun. I found some anomalies. Unfortunatly.

Nope. That was not intended. The german Phantom should have been a single seater, lighter weight version without Sparrow missiles and without air refuel capacity. It was canceled in favor of F-4F, because the demanded development costs were to high.

Was kümmert es eine deutsche Eiche, wenn sich ein Schwein an ihr reibt! Und all jene, die wieder einmal anfangen mit dem Grundgesetzt Artikel 1 zu wedeln, sollten das GG genauer durchlesen. Dort gibt es auch einen Artikel, der den Geltungsbereich des GG definiert. Dort steht drin, dass das GG für alle Deutschen gilt. Es ist die Sammlung unserer Rechte und Pflichten. Nordafrikanische Straftäter stehen nicht unter dem Schutz des deutschen Grundgesetzes. Nachzulesen in der Präambel des GG sind folgende Worte: "Damit gilt dieses Grundgesetz für das gesamte Deutsche Volk." Ergo Nix Tunesier, nix Albaner, nix sonstewer.

Isn't stealth overrated? Modern IRST systems are said to be capable to detect a plane at around 150 km. What if the enemy is unable to detect a F-35 by Radar, but can detect and track it with IRST systems? While mockup fights between Eurofighter in F-22, the EF was able to detect and track the Raptor at combat relevant distance. And this was in 2010. The development goes forward. It would be careless to rely only on stealth.

If there is no red campaign, then it is not as difficult to make a own one. Try the knowledgebase of SF1 http://combatace.com/topic/72817-adding-new-air-services-in-a-campaign/ Here i descriped how to make a new airforce, that is already included in a campaign usable for the player. It is for WoE, but SF2 is very similar. If you have problems with it, then ask here, not post in knowledgebase.

I dont think, that we have a map that covered this special part of Syria. This is Israel 2 map: The areas of interest are to close to the border of the map or outside the map. So a completly new map must be made.

75 camo decals are made so far. The placement of the decals is reworked, so that they fit better.

The russians have a long tradition in military choirs. The Alexandrow choir (red army choir) is dated back till WW2. They will rebuild the choir. It is truely sad news, that so many very good singers lost their live in a plane crash.

Marcel Dassault said once: only a nice plane is a good plane. Boings T-X is ugly.

I think, we will see a strategic change in US foreign policy. Trump realized, correctly, that Russia is no real threat for the USA, but China is a highly potential threat. So the USA will go a confrontation course against China. If you want to confronte China, you cant rely only on technological superiority. You need planes which you can build in masses to an acceptable price. The problem with F-35 and F-22 is their unbelievable oversized price. Okay, it are high potential planes, but you cant buy enough of them. In a conflict with China you would need a lot of planes and so many F-35 would cause a collaps of the US finance budget. As my old professor used to say: "You dont need the high potentials, you need the right potentials." So Trumps way to try to drop the prices of combat planes is corect.

Isnt there a little bit to much blue in the decal? Only in the very first time the russians used so much blue, but in the last years the blue part of the star became smaller and smaller.

IIRC, wasnt there a Su-25 included in NATO Fighters?

It is unbelievable, that a man who was sent into prison in Italy for criminal acts, was able to go to Germany after his release from prison, and ask there for asylum! Why he wasnt sent back to Tunesia after his prison time? Same with the afghan guy, who murdered in Freiburg some weeks ago. He was in prison in Greek. After his release from prison he went to Germany and asked for asylum. In Germany we have around 500 so called "Gefährder", what means "highly dangerous persons". Why this guys were not sent home. And if Tunesia or an other Land is not willing to take them back, then sent them by ship, throw them into the Med and the last 3 miles home they can row with a rubber boat .

The problems are lawyers and judges, which are living in their own ivory towers, far away from reality. The police want to act, but cant act, because the f...ing lawyers and goodwill people fight for the rights of the criminals .... It seems to be now, that the polish driver, who was found shot dead in the cabin of the truck, saved the live of a lot of people. He fought against the terrorist during the attack and forced him to leave the X-mas market. He was a real hero.

Look into the MiG-21F folder. Is there the folder LSK included?

The MiG-15 had had a gyroscopic gunsight, thats true, but it had a fixed gunsight too. You could switch between "moveable" gunsight und the fixed gunsight and you could display both gunsights at the same time. Some Korea aces used the fixed gunsight, while otheres prefered the lead computing gunsight.

Is this really all what this suni arab terrorists can do? Is this really all? This losers. They had a very soft target in a giant size and they killed only 12 persons? What for bunglers, what for botchers! I laugh at you! I spit at you!!! You dilletants, you amateurs, you noobs!

History In the east german airforce LSK (Luftstreitkräfte) each single plane had a unique paint scheme. There was no standard for the form of staines, dots or stripes. So the technicians of the squadrons and repair facilities had free hand for the paintshop. Originally it was intended to have a two tone camo. The colors had to be brown and green. But the tone of the paint was not specified, so that lighter and darker greens and browns were possible. It depended a lot on the availability of the paint. On the other hand the brown paint was very fast weathering, so that it appeared soon as a green tone. Nobody knows why the paint changed from brown to green. It simply happend. Perhaps it had something to do with the sun? So a very wide range of colors was to find on the planes. In the late 80th a 3 tone camo was used. This package contains 40 different camos, connected with the tactical numbers, so that you will find 40 planes each with an other unique camo. The camos are LSK style. They are not historical correct. The reason for this is, that there is no reliable source for the east german MiG-21 camo. All paintschemes, even that in the museums, are LSK style (freestyle) . So i decided to make this set as freestyle. A NVA MiG-21 could have looks like that, what you find in this package. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- II.
