  1. Had a look at Wiki over lunch at work. The Indonesians had Skyhawks too, which might make a neat twist, depending on when the action is set. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indonesian_Ai...craft_inventory Indonesia had used 33 A-4E/TA-4E Skyhawk II (ex-Israeli Air Force) until 2003. The first prototype was flying at 5 May 1980 from Halim Perdana Kusuma AFB, Jakarta. The aircraft were transport from Eliat(Israel) as part of Alpha Project in 1980. The aircraft were completely shipping through sea in 23 months. In service until 2003 they were replaced by two Russian Su-27SK and two Su-30MK. However, the Indonesian Air Force is planning to reactivate the A-4 Skyhawks by buying spare parts, after USA ended its weapons and spare part sales embargo. The aircraft made its final flight on 5 August 2005 from Makassar (Sulawesi) to Madiun (Java).
  2. Indonesian Mi-24s And an A-26 if you wanted to take it back further (already uploaded)
  3. Yes please! A more modern campaign with F/A-18s, Blackhawks, F-111s vs Indonesian Flankers & F-16s would be cool too. Oh, and I've got some Indonesian helo skins to upload at some point.
  4. Thanks for the pickup on the reference Eric.
  5. Do we have to re-name you Slartibartfast?
  6. Well, as the commercial goes, 'I'm lovin' it!' Two minor nitpicks though: 1 What happened to the refueling probe on the F-4E that was in the preview pics? It was first used experimentally in 1973 and then introduced fleet-wide from 1981, so it should have been available in the Lebanon campaign. I thought TK might have had another version of the Kurnass like he included multiple A-4E & H versions. 2 Where's the hangar music gone!
  7. LOL. Actually I thought it was a bit cheesy at the time, but I may re-do the pack now WOI is here and include Hava Nagila, maybe even include Lauren Rose's new version too... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=wgdHjWPuCrI
  8. This might interest you. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=1730 I'm in the middle of downloading WOI as I type but this should be compatible. I'll be checking soon enough! Strike Fighters Israel Music Pack Readme This music pack is intended, as the name suggests, for an Israel or Mid East installation. I hope this pack provides appropriate menu music for your enhanced enjoyment of this great game. Installation: If you want to keep the original music you need to backup the following files from your Strike Fighters/Menu folder: MainScreen.wav SingleMissionScreen.wav HangarRadio1.wav DebriefSuccess.wav DebriefFail.wav DebriefKilled.wav OptionsScreen.wav All you need to do then is to extract the files in this pack to the Menu folder, load up the game and enjoy the music. Track Listing: MainScreen.wav - 'The Road to Jerusalem' from 'Cast A Giant Shadow' SingleMissionScreen.wav - 'Israeli Air Force 50th Anniversary Theme' HangarRadio1.wav- 'The Raid' from 'Raid On Entebbe' DebriefSuccess.wav - 'Yerushalayim Shel Zahav - Jerusalem of Gold' by Naomi Shemer. This version is from 'Schindler's List' and performed by The Ramat Gan Chamber Choir, Tel Aviv, Israel DebriefFail.wav - 'Im In Alu - If The Doors Are Locked' by Ofra Haza DebriefKilled.wav - 'Chom Yuli-Ogust - July August Heat' by Shlomo Artzi OptionsScreen.wav - 'Janes IAF Theme' I've included a document with translations of the songs in the debrief screens, as well as some biographical details of the artists/composers which can serve as a starting point if you want to get into this in more detail. As a resource for the campaign gurus I've also included .wavs of the national anthems for Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. Maybe someone can use these and release some Arab/Israeli campaigns? Finally, I've included two bonus tracks that you can rename to use as music for any of the screens: 1) Shir Hapalmach is an instrumental of the song of the Palmach - the forerunner of the IDF 2) Another version of 'Yerushalayim Shel Zahav - Jerusalem of Gold,' performed this time by the Dor L?Dor Singers and it is probably a bit closer to Naomi Shemer's vision of how the song should be performed. All of the above music tracks are free downloads from various record company websites in various formats and have been converted to the correct format for use in game by me. There are therefore no file sharing issues in respect of this music pack. Enjoy. Allen
  9. You'll have noticed that this is now a sticky. Thanks to USAFMTL for his prompt response! My intention is to update the first post with links to all of the available mods in the list. Please feel free to add your all your IAF related screenies, WIPs etc here for everyone to see centrally. Thanks for your support so far. Now WOI is here the sky is the limit!
  10. You need to rename the .HFD and .tfd files to ANWbrown.HFD and ANWbrown.tfd also.
  11. What the... it's out? Looks like I picked the wrong night to spend some quality time with the wife watching a romcom! I'll be downloading tonight.
  12. Thanks to Deadhead for an AH-1W skin and to Stormtrooper for a long awaited skin for the AH-1G. I've added the AH-1W to the fictional list too.
  13. Egressing from a strike on a Mexican airfield and I spot this: I think I found Doctor Evil's south of the frikken' border hideaway! Pity I didn't have anything left to drop on it!
  14. Thanks a lot for bringing this one back from the land of the lost Kevin!
  15. Looks great. The Israelis operated a single example of the Chipmunk too, so this will be a great addition to WOI.
  16. Great stuff guys. I'll update the list. I think the IAF going to buy the F-22 for real so we may need to change this at some point! I've been having a bit of a play myself: FastCargo's F-15D Active + Hrntfixr's IAF F-15E skin = The Israeli top brass, in a peculiar mangling of Hebrew and English, called it 'Baz Active', but the aircrew affectionately re-named it 'Dumbo'!
  17. Well if the two flyable aircraft were, say, the F-4 and MiG 21 you could have multiple versions of those as stock with the game, built to a higher standard than the other ai planes that come with the game. Also, the F-4 would need both cockpits modelled, like in JF-15 and F-14FD, togable in single player mode, and conceivably people could play as two-player teams of pilot/wso if they wanted.
  18. I just voted for none. I don't play online or multiplayer ,so it's not an issue. I can see that it would be a major selling point though from the comments above.
  19. I'd just have the F-4 and MiG 21, with multiple versions of each and multiple scenarios/terrains (Historical - Vietnam, Mid East, Iran/Iraq, and Fictional - Korea, Central Europe etc.). There'll be lots of other planes flown by ai too right?
  20. Glad you've brought this one over here Kevin. How do I claim my finders fee! Looking forward to seeing this one. It'll be a lot better than the one that's been sitting on my HD since I downloaded it all that time ago.
  21. So how different is this physically from the Lavi? I mean, is it just a matter of putting an Israeli skin on it and a bit of .ini modding?
  22. Not even for wing tanks? I've got various pics of them with single pylons fitted nder each wing, although the very brief look I've had doesn't show any actually carrying anything. Not sure if the Raven had the capability to carry Sidewinders like the regular F-111s. I've got a three view illustration with them fitted, but no photos yet. Either way, this would be a great addition, and would suit many scenarios.
  23. Hopefully coming soon: Mi-17 Colombia Mi-8TV Yugoslavia Mi-8T Yugoslav medivac Mi-8TV Egypt Mi-8TV India Mi-8T UN (Ukraine) Mi-8T Russian Ministry for Aid and Protection And lots more to come
  24. RIP. A great actor.
  25. LOL..Just be thankful we weren't watching the first movie.... USAFMTL/Column5 (together)- We're soaring, flyin'......
