it would be appreciated, esp for the early 90s timeframe (when most of my modding takes place). there is a C-130H-30 coming soon, and France and Kuwait are top of the list for that model, but i know France also had 3 non stretch H models as well. serials would esp. be a big help are the serial showing up in game? this started for another project (under wraps for a few more weeks) and a photo from dstorm.eu showed a KC there without refuel pods acting as regular transport. That version had all listed, this version that is currently H only should be ini restricted to just teh H serials (C-130H first then KC-130H in the numberlist). that way, when the KC-130H is ready, i can just use the same decal folder. also, is the wing number a recent change? all source pics i referenced were 31-xx. but i did not search much past 1994 given the scope of my project EDIT: pics on airliners.net and dstorm.eu show how i have it on there before 1994, then the 50 series after 1994. will do a little more digging, but barring a great revelation it will likely stay teh same as the mod is Euro Herks in the 80s. thank you tho for the input and spot checking just means i'll have to do another sub folder for post 94 main references for general knowledge were airliners.net, airbritianpics.co.uk and c-130.net as well as World Air Power Journal Vol 18

im sorry, get fighter? boolean? im a little thrown, plus if its what i think then i think youre overthinking it

what he said. when i do the airliner tga, i google image search a decal sheet and tack it in, to get the spacing correct. windows themselves are usually down then copied (and copied again, and copied some more) and placed on a layer above the decal sheet.

just about done with the Europeans. for these purposes Turkeys NATO membership in the late 80s early 90s qualifies em as Euro today lead is the crazy wingman. buzzing the hangars....... gawd, doing bare metal again. at least not doing camo stickers too......

decal anomalies lod viewer
daddyairplanes replied to russouk2004's topic in Mods & Skinning Discussion
had it myself recently, number on teh nose (facing front) of Dels Herks was flipping upside down and reversing in viewer, but came up fine in game. noticed after correcting the decal.ini of course but Jarek's totally right. the viewer is a great tool but doesnt totally replace looking it over in game -

Question for Modders re: MD-450 Ouragan
daddyairplanes replied to Geary's topic in Mods & Skinning Discussion
too the best of my recollection fakepilot items do not animate. as for tga making, just do layers in a template and save like you would a skin. yeah the first go around is still a bitch, but then you have you layers set and can copy and recolor as needed. -
"What's the theme linking these screenshots guys?" Naval aviators one part done, now can focus on NATO Herks while waiting on another part

thank you torno. to my old eyes the tecnico badge did not look like the one i needed. but its rather small in my only source image, and i did ask for advice from someone on the ground. sorry for misunderstanding that all were there
-
will send you decals in next day or so, did all serials (E, H and KC) and just limited them in the textureset.ini for the H going off the belief you are using Dels tempates, there is a layer towards the top of every template that says frame (as in the mesh frame). i have used it heavily on the wings to get everything lined up and it should help trim what extends under the wings

thank you SgtSaunders. most research i had said the colors were the same as the USAF vietnam era colors, with the bottom being FS36622 Camo Gray. r but i agree, it seemed abit too brown in comparison when i used the hex value for that color. so a light shade of blue over the original color but not replacing the original. it isnt this blue

near final product. need to know what years the yellow stripes were on and they will go in a sub folder (because its me, of course i tga's them) and also looking to find out what the circled patch is. big thanks to torno for helping me with the top two, lucked into bottom right. but that bottom left is eluding me....
