  3. measure once cut seven times. or measure 7 times and cut 3. or just keep snipping here and there til it matches thats it for tonight, get the other side in the morning
  4. this is an awesome thread. i always knew about the winder rails/pylons. most pics i'd ever seen had wingtip tanks, fuselage winders and bombs and rockets under the wings. never knew the fuslage could carry a2g ordinance outside a nuke centerline
  5. welcome back! you done falling out of airplanes, or is my memory screwier than usual? theres a good chunk going on in the active modder world, although alot fewer 3D folks are active now as to the win10 update, im beginning to think its the reboot of SF3...... not to totally to toot my own horn, you might be interested in the SAC Twilight series, skin and ini updates to all of the bombers focusing on 1988 thru 1992 era. and a buncha these for christmas
  6. Bigger thanks to Centurion1, this was his baby but he disappeared several years ago. After almost a year of inactivity due to that disappearance, i gathered what we had, fine tuned skins and released. And thanks to you for advancing this bird, it had more stories to tell than just USAF service
  7. heads up the Blue Angels SH wont be what if next year (now if you want to be technical as the team has recieved their new mounts already) https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/37443/the-blue-angels-just-said-goodbye-to-the-f-a-18-legacy-hornet-with-a-final-sunset-flight

take it easy, and hoping you two get to feeling better sooner than later
  9. appreciate it. would you say those are pretty standard for NATO users (Norway is on the list too)?
  10. please. couldnt find much on color names (and therefore a hex value) so i used color picker on the middle range of each color from pictures (not the lightest, not the darkest) post coffee edit: take a look at the one in the screenshot thread. i realized the grey was abit too light and darkened it up some. but any FS number or local name for Nato camos would be appreciated
  11. busy day, did a quick one tonight no, not the gambler
  12. leave the guns bring the cannoli
  13. the italian job
  14. he's working it for ODS besides, the game doesnt do much for F-35 avionics, so unless your bringin SHARs back........ besides theres more available for 1975 thru 1991 than there is for 2019 and beyond (again see game limitations)
  15. just say two weeks and get it over with
  16. Let me explain No, there is too much. Let me sum up.
  17. Herks in Espana are T.10 (yeah markings are USAF, let me get it out of the paint barn in Georgia first)
  18. Viper paint job on a Super Hornet...... doin an Independance Day reboot?
  19. Memphis Tennessee, 2004 the crew of the Memphis Belle V is about to complete their 25th and final mission to Nashville
  20. the jumbos aint always big, depending on perspective
  21. A/C said pour on the coal, were off to sink the Bismark. dont have the heart to tell him its not gonna be in the Gulf of Mexico.. some games with the navy Express Delivery to the Coral Sea what to do about a Cuban convoy heading to Galveston
  22. several air arms had a good bit of success with this fighter. the USN didnt because the armor, heavier weapons (50 cal vs 30 cal) and radios put in after it was designed overloaded it and made it a dog. even Pappy Boyington allegedly said it was a hot little ship "until the Navy threw all that crap in"
  23. you askin me for some tga or showing what you have to work with? im actually cool either way if you work it yourself, i use the USAAF_Stencil font for alot of my stuff, and it matches what you have there. you would just need to type in all caps for the cross cuts in the letters. (or its how i would do it). use the decal sheet for the guide on WHAT to write, but scratch build the actual tga the data plates (black and white stencils on bottom) and flammable placards would be better pulled from the internet individually. decal sheets are actually good for reference imo, but i dont usually use much other than doors and windows (even then with modification)
  24. i appreciate it, and depending on how much rework you do, you could work the whole HEMMT family of vehicles. the 978 was the common fueler for the Army's trucks, didnt realize the air force used em too its funny for me as the last two times i recall seeing the fuelers, one had a deer in the windshield, and the other was upside down. aside from the deer, no one hurt in either incident
  25. you want Desert Storm? i'll deliver coast to coast from McGuire in the silver to Travis in the green. and Barksdale in between (well down on the tarmac anywho)
