  1. Hey guys Dunno if it's a problem concerning the latest patch, but since I got the July2012 version of the games, I'm not able to change the mission type and the loadout for a stock plane. Although the F-4J has either "Strike" and "Anti-Ship" written in it's data.ini, I'm only able to select "Strike" in the single mission window. If I change the loadout.ini, enabling the use of the WallEye for Strike, the loadout window only shows 6 MK82 bombs as written into it's original loadout.ini. Do the standard ini's override the custom ini's? I wanted to create a F-4JM for the JMSDF and no matter what I try, SF2 still gives me the bombs instead of the WallEye. Any explanation?
  2. Edit to my last post: The decals were borrowed FROM Spinners and not by him Sorry if it caused some misunderstanding.

  7. F-4JM Phantom II - Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force - Gulf of Tonkin, 1970 Inspite of not wanting to be involved, the JMSDF, with permission of the maritime staff command, sends a wing of their F-4JMs onboard the aircraft carrier USS Constellation to aid american troops by performing strikes on vital targets of the Vietcong. In exchange, Japan received a higher amount of petroleum and other important resources for free.

  11. I think this plane is so obsolete. Instead of releasing that plane, TK should make the Starfighter "officially" flyable for example. Or fix the fps breakdowns in SF2:NA (btw: I just bought it today. ) I think a Lebanese Mirage is one of the least things we need so far.
  12. That israeli Intruder is looking fantastic! Looking forward to fly it!

  17. I really don't remember when it started, but sometimes, when I start a mission, I get a strange bluescreen: And when I exit the mission, the mission is declared as a success, although it has been aborted: I really don't know from what it depends. Any ideas?
  18. Two more cores will definetely give you more power. But it's not only the CPU. It also depends your remaining hardware. I upgraded from a Intel Core2Duo E6750 (2 x 2.67GHz) to a Phenom X4 965 Black Edition. The effects were very noticeable. But nevertheless, if your graphics card is not very fast, the mere CPU upgrade will achieve only little success. My HD5770 is enough for my processor. The main problem I have is my HDD. My Samsung HD250HJ is only SATA-I, but upgrading to a SATA-III won't be of help, since my board only supports SATA-II. A CPU upgrade is always a good idea, but depending on the other components, especially their age, you'll have to take further hardware exchanges into consideration.

  21. View File [Fictional] North American C-4 (P-51D) Cimarrón for SF2 Fictional Mod of the stock P-51D modifying it to a former fighter plane from the spanish air force. YOU WILL NEED SF2:I with Exp.1 AT LEAST TO GET THIS PLANE RUNNING! BACKGROUND After the end of WWII, Spain needed to build up an air force to protect itself from foreign aggressors. The spanish aircraft manufacturer Hispano Aviación, who possessed the license for the Messerschmitt Me-109, was forced to sell the license to the US or otherwise, among other reasons, Spain would have suffered from an embargo, which the country could have never survived. Since Spain was a former ally of Nazi Germany, the US was interested in all kinds of technology Spain gathered from the Third Reich. Spain, as a kind of compensation, received former planes from the USAF stationed in Germany. Among them were 48 P-51D Mustangs. The planes arrived by train, most of them in rather bad condition. Most of the planes got repaired, but 10 of them had to be scrapped, taking out still usable parts, and 14 more were stored as replacements for potential losses. 24 entered service in the Ala 7 and did service from 1948 until 1955. INSTRUCTIONS 1. Drop the folders into your Objects folder. If asked to overwrite, click yes. CREDITS Big Thanks to Thirdwire for the games and the superb models they have. Big thanks to Atila from the virtual squadron "Ala 7" for the permission to use their badge as squadron badge. Kindest regards ValAstur Submitter ValAstur Submitted 07/29/2012 Category What If Hangar
