  3. View File [Fictional] Dassault Convair F-116A Scimitar Fictional mod of the stock Mirage 5F modifying it to a fictional fighter plane for the United States marine Corps. YOU WILL NEED SF2:E and SF2:I AT LEAST TO GET THIS PLANE RUNNING! BACKGROUND After the enormous success of the F-114A among the pilots in the USAF, which described the plane as easy to fly, the USMC wanted a similar plane but with a major variety of arming possibilities. Regarding that, the hull was modified to allow the addition of two more weapon stations. The USMC was satisified with the result and ordered 72 planes. The squadrons represented in this pack are the VMA-231 "Aces", the VMF-232 "Red Devils" and the VMFA-333 "Shamrocks". INSTRUCTIONS 1. Drop the folders into your Objects folder. If asked to overwrite, click yes. CREDITS Big Thanks to Thirdwire for the games and the superb models they have. Also to Wrench for assessing me in US decal "matters". :-) And, last but not least, to Stratos for the idea to this bird. Kindest regards ValAstur Submitter ValAstur Submitted 05/01/2013 Category What If Hangar

  17. I don't think that the plane has to have an asymmetric loadout. If you want to have it, simply edit the loadout.ini.
  18. Since the download would feature one US and one, let's say, more "european loadout" (FR + UK), everybody will be free to choose with what he wants to kick a**
  19. My weapon editor says it's EOGR. AGM-84E SLAM Harpoon TV-Guided. Oddly enough, all else are CGR.
  20. Thanks for the info. So that means putting british 1000lb bombs on that Corsair along with french AA weapons would not be entirely wrong, right?
  21. The AGM-84E is a EOGR-Class weapon (info from the weapon editor). Maybe you just need to switch allowed weapon classes or put that weapon to another weaponstation. But the loadout itself looks good to me. We need to see it in flight. Maybe with all the Mavericks on TLRs it may look a bit overloaded.
  22. AA-Loadout would be the usual. AIM-9X and AIM-120C AG-Loadout should consist of GPS- and Laser/TV-Guided bombs mainly... that's what I would suggest.
  23. Take the US. Japs are good in the first ranks because of their maneuverability, but they all have paper armor. The US planes are only a bit less maneuverable but they take more hits until they go down.
  24. I like the carrier shots
