As I read Jedi's posts bout ads and stuff, I remember when SF1 came out, it had no ad support in pc gaming mags (or flight mags)..maybe a few on line articles about it. TK did.. what... one interview? Maybe he got screwed in the golden days and with the wally world thing but I think he distrusts the gaming industry. At first he was happy with our support but we are a demanding bunch. we want that or this. We got angry at him for "breaking" our mods every patch and we had few major blow outs right? The breaking point IMHO he just had it with the bitching and etc. I feel like I'm reliving the golden years of simming that its bubble burst again. I really thought his sim lite (with very realistic weapon behavior and very good dogfighting AI) will somewhat give us that feeling of supporting a company again faithfully. And we did for 10 years am I right here? TK needs to understand that to make some REAL $ you need to get the word out, not relying on mouth to mouth suggestion. Maybe going on Steam's green light (War Thunder is trying it, but its a play-for-free, pay-to-get-cool-stuff, sim MMOG) would help him but its too late to suggest it. Its a shame too, the SF series, in my eyes, is a best sim for disabled gamers too. Ah well, lets hope he'll at least release the source code to the series. Falcon

Its mainly free but you can buy "starter" kits. In my time in testing it in closed beta, I lost interested in it after a month. 1) I couldn't calibrate my stick the way I wanted it, it was too sensitive or too slow 2) really hated the grind of it (ranking up to get better planes & crew) 3) Joystick users are in trouble with the mouse aimers playing this sim. It basically is move and click. Although there is historic & full real battle modes but they are somewhat empty mainly of the control issues with calibrating your stick. Oh two more opinions I forgot to add is the dev communication of western customers are zero to 1%. And lastly, WT community is full of AHOLES. Falcon

I just watched your vids and let me suggest a book or two. This book has both gun related & missile related tactics. BTW When you got killed during a ground attack, the hunter didn't get you, it was a anti-air gun that brought you down. Actually you need to put the dll in the main SF folder and the ini in your saved games sf flight folder. But this mod is for the pre dx10 SF2 versions. If you are patched up to current version of SF2 you don't need this mod unless you are forcing DX9. Falcon

Let me warn you, if you put all options on hard, your wingmen will be real dumb and the enemy AI will be aces. Most of the addons in this site use normal FM. BTW on hard mode the AI uses the normal FM. When I play, I put the skill, FM, hud & visual targeting on normal. The rest I put on hard. Falcon

Well I talked to my friend few hours ago. I told her what you guys said. She says that her condition will be temporary. She'll visit her doctors soon for a check up. She'll talk to her doctors about this I think from our conversation earlier this evening. Falcon

I got a friend who is 17 (she'll be 18 on June 8th.) and really is thinking of being a SEAL. But she has a medical condition. She asked me directly to help her to find info regarding if she can be in the training. She had a brain tumor taken out few years ago and now has migraines and taking meds for ADD, sleeping and meds for her migraines. She also has short term memory lost (from her operation). She says that her migraines are in fact better and she thinks once her muscles are fully restored the headaches will stop. She wants to join the military because she wants to help. She wants to be in the front lines though, not in the side lines. From I tell from our conversation on FaceBook, she is very serious about this and will commit to the challenge. I know her for few years now and I think she'll charge through the challenges ahead with no regrets. However I told her that her memory loss might be a factor and some other issues. I heard that if a woman passes the SEAL training, she'll be in combat? Is that true? I hope you guys can help me to help you with her life goal. My questions are: Is her medical condition a factor? What info she needs for recruitment especially she has medical issues? Falcon
