Tonight, I found myself deep into an internet stupor, fascinated by the things that have shaped our world recently, and one event has stood out to me beyond the reach of anything else : the neutralization of Osama bin Laden. As I watched President Obama's speech from that fateful May night, i felt an overwhelming sense of national pride and a deep appreciation for the entire chain that lead to bin Laden's justified death, from Seal Team 6 all the way up to the Commander in Chief, President Obama. I cannot think of a single event that has meant so much to me in the last 10 years yet. I just want to say that I'm proud and I'm glad we can, as a country, appreciate the all-important task of defending our country from murderers and terrorists of all types, at home and abroad. I have never felt as good about anything in my life about the future as I did in May and I know the future is bright for the United States, NATO, and every other person that has been negatively affected by al-Qeada and it's crony workers that have spread fear and death throughout our entire world. To the President, the United States military, especially my beloved Marine Corps, NATO, and the people we defend I give a giant, well deserved.... HOORAH!!! Thanks for reading my rant and loving freedom, democracy, and justice!

adding the F-111 to any campaign makes it way to easy. It's like using an F-15 for the original Cold War Gone Hot 1979 campaign, only for ground attack. I would load her with about 12 750lbs, then fly out and bomb 3-4 enemy runways per mission. Like I said, it was way too easy.

Sweet! I'm glad that bird made it through ok. After 50+ years it's nice to see this bird still gently kicking ass just like it always has.

Are there any smoke markers that work with the 2nd Gen sims? I want to make a series of missions that go together like a linear campaign, but I cannot get any of the smoke mods I've downloaded from here to appear. Does anyone have problems with those?

I have started a 1975 campaign over Paran and it just doesn't feel right without a sky full of deadly SAMs. How do I change that?

Looks like this one is used for fighter training. We're about to see how Dhimar's decision to buy ligher, cheaper fighters will play out. And the drop! The Tiger IIs engage intruding Ilyushins! Intercepting airmen race skyward to meet Tupolev bombers! Marine Air is at it again!

I was thinking today and it got me wondering if anyone was interested in forming a group of regulars back on the SF or WOV first gen sims. I would love to see how we can fight in those and maybe if we could do 2 vs 2 and get some time on both the game and teamspeak then we could start having some fun. So who would be interested in doing WOV with some limited modding? What do I mean by limited modding? Cockpits for the B-57, MiG-17//19/21, maybe some scenery from the Ground War Mod.

Good job. This is awesome for that kid. He doesn't know what sadness you have just averted. When I was 9 or 10 I had 3 bikes stolen from me (or make that 1 bike stolen and then another bike stolen twice). Each time my mother would spank my ass hard for letting it get stolen, but it was some teenaged jerks. I would have done the same thing if I was in your shoes. Good work.
