  2. Excellent! Should be great fun flying round here, I came back from Lanzarote only a few hours ago. Cheers Wrench, The and MJ
  3. Some really nice shots of INS Viraat here... http://www.defencetalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3805
  4. Bloody hell
  5. Ah very cool, I have been there a few times myself, took some snaps of that Bloodhound too, it's very easy to get a good close up look at it.
  6. Erikgen, did you go to the RAF Hendon museum?
  7. Nice model you have there bigal If you would like the export brochure from Bristol, let me know.

  10. Happy birthday Otto! Just like Dave has said, MJ is the guy that can really work magic into mods in this series. Have a good one mate!

    Epic fail.

  16. What's the matter Danny? You never taken a shortcut before? Have you ever fired two guns whilst jumping through the air?
  17. I got some exams right now, but got plenty of time over Christmas. I'm a bit of a fan of the Bloodhound also, Seen a couple of them up close, awesome looking machines, my girlfriend's grandfather also used to work on them in Germany for the RAF.
  18. I don't have the time to try and model one right now, maybe over Christmas. I do however have a walkaround of a Mk.2 if anyone wants to try their hand at one.

    Fem-Bot

I mean this genuinely, but in that 2008 shot, she looks like a burn victim.
  20. The panel finder is handy for finding out where a mesh is mapped on a bitmap, however it won't really help you get UV mapping co-ordinates. The only real way to get UV co-ordinates is to just get them from the original designer of the 3D model. That may not be possible with 3rdW models though.
  21. That looks great Bobrock, really looking forward to this one
  22. Not meaning to go off topic, but quickly to answer Gunnar's question, 3DS Max reduces the resolution of maps in the viewports so that performance of the program will not get affected too much. If you make a render by hitting F9 you will see that your map still retains its full resolution. Nice looking MiG Blackbird, keep it going
  23. An engine start on a canberra is a sight to behold in itself compared to other aircraft. Great stories chaps.
