  1. I've driven the FSV (Fire Support Version) before, and agree, a fun ride

It's simply reducing the detail and making the model more "simpler" because at longer distances the aircraft being rendered far away doesn't need to show all the details as you would need to see close up. If the vehicle is simple enough, you can just remove a majority of decals to the point of the simple shape (ground vehicles mainly).

  7. Super Hornet update, just got help from Spillone104 and Spectre8750 in developing a more custom sound for it. After watching a VAQ-129 video it struck me as the best possible, so I was trying to do that with v1.4, only AGOSTINO caught my mistake in changing it back. Then again this sound should work out so a few more tweaks and the package should be good.

  13. Okay one thing at a time, and yes I'm guilty of steering him wrong (no pun intended) so it's something I forgot to consider, so it's not his fault, it's mine. I'm not nowhere an expert on the Rafale, so got it.
  14. That would work, possible specific SAM sites due to the game cycling various SAM and AAA units (if we go that far) into the game, so that "Smokey" might smoke you by accident

  16. Well it's really ROE, or Rules of Engagement, you get "shot" you assume a specific flight profile and therefore not considered "in play". And it's going to require some judgement too, with no explosive effect (maybe like 1b warhead to get the effect?) gonna need controllers who say "you're dead", etc. After testing, the explosive effect does go off (no damage of course but visual and audio effects) and a hit notation in the Mission log, guess it solves that issue...   17. That is a good idea, as it would give the firer better feedback as far as hitting, launch procedures, envelope, etc. But the only problem is that would the targeted player "know" that his or her plane was hit? Guess it's time to make some missiles and see if that pans out.

  20. Maybe it's something wrong with your sound but I get engine sounds when doing F10...
  21. suicidal is the modeler on that one, and JAT81500 is waiting on the model, so right now its based on how fast suicidal moves on it.
