It's no biggie man, I'm not trying to press for a quick release and it be all jacked up. I'm going to test a theory and see how that works out tonight. I ran the Supa this morning in Vietnam, and it's definitely worth the ALE-50. I did a rail bridge strike, would like to show the pic but I forgot the thumb drive, but I managed to fly solo deep NE, with cycled air support (or I would have been royally screwed!) covering me, hit the ECM, deployed the -50, and dropped my JDAM, not even a lock. So it made me look back to the old days when it took 8 planes to make it on target, versus this combined with a low level ingress. Not saying you'll always get lucky, but it can make it if you push it the right way. And FC, again man, family is first

Where are the Aircraft

That's because they're only for the AI, not human player. -
I've had to actually start doing that, as the DS map.... too much Red Air, and I can manage three more, just as long as I arm them correctly. Trying to do a strike mission with a half-brained wingnut who doesn't cover your six (good pointer, started noticing that quite alot he's not doing jack for me), but I can at least have a dedicated escort flight rather than hoping they get cycled on the map....

I think the first word out of my mouth seeing that thumbnail was "whoa" and proceeded to the download page -
She's not that bad to fly, very responsive, and you can tell the difference between the E,F, and especially the G model's FM. JAT81500 did a real good job with the FM. Some issues before but much better now. Can't say offhand if it's anywhere near the real thing, but it's good enough And Jarhead1 and JAT81500 say it's alot easier trapping on a carrier so shouldn't be too bad. Finished the VFA-14 skin:

More work on the VFA-14 skin, just have to add the "VFA-14" and she'll be ready to go. I may go ahead and do the CAG as well, since Dave hooked me up with a very nicely scanned decal set he bought so since he went through so much trouble, I gotta do this one. On a release note, passed it around, and the FMs for all the birds were updated (the F was, but JAT81500 caught the mistakes) and FC is still going to tweak the ALE-50 some more so it'll be soon, but not real soon

Nice shots as usual Silverbolt, and serverandenforcer, looking effin awesome -
I get that problem too, and the best thing is to load a couple Shrikes or STARMS and some bombs along with it. I did the same mission on The Range map (well it's customized) so I only had AAA as my targets, but I dropped on all of them and got a mission successful. So the gist is bomb everything around the waypoint until Red Crown says "mission complete"

I think I got a taste of that last night on a strike mission on the DS map. I had gotten the ALE-50 deployed, and was taking missiles from a flight of Su-27s, so I'm really not sure if it works against so much A2A missiles, more like ground launched, maybe do to the "power" of the radar being used, how it reacts to the environment. Needless to say I got shot down but I think that was a good test try on that angle as far as air launched vs. ground launched missiles. Then again, thinking about the issue... I know I still had some dead to rights shots at me, I mean four against two, so maybe it did work, just that I wasn't really in an evaluation mood On a more other note, JAT81500 has given me the CVW-8 textures... so realistically we're at the tweak phase, the only stopper right now is the ALE-50 "does it work" issue, but unless anybody on the team objects, once JAT81500 does his rudder position at takeoff fix (somehow disappeared) I would really say it's almost ready to go?

Which Do You Prefer?

Mud Moving. It's just more exciting dropping a bomb, launching a missile after flying through mountains at near Mach 1, dodging SAMs, AAA, it just seems more "livelier" than getting in constant knife fights. And like above, my first was F-15E Strike Eagle, but my real "first" was EF2000, just too good.
