  1. I don't understand, there should be more folders in there than that. And as a test I checked the download, and all the files are there, so I think you deleted the folders by accident. The VFA-2 (Late) skin is in the FA-18F_BlkII folder. The decals are in the FA-18F folder, which is missing. Did you delete them by accident?
  2. You mean the modex numbers? EDIT: I checked the files and they're all there. There are no decals other than the modex number (1xx, 2xx, etc.), so after checking it checks out.
  3. Well, so far I'm not going to add that capability to the USN Growlers. If as a user you want to, then fine by me. But overall as a virgin download, I'm going off of what I see operationally, not so much What If. Besides, when the Aussies lost one in Nellis the notation said that the replacement USN Growler had to be modified to suit Australian needs. Maybe it was the carriage of more AIM-120s I don't know, but I'm leaving that up to people who want it since they can learn how to mod or something to add that capability. Personally, I don't see why a SEAD bird needs more AIM-120s for its role (I see the AIM-9X as a good self-defense weapon, but that limits HARM missiles of course, or however they do things down under), so I don't see the USN doing the same thing. The Aussies have their needs, the USN has theirs. And what they do operationally affects how I make the mod.
  4. I'm not sure about USN Growlers. They might but so far I've seen it on Aussie ones, not USN, so I'm going on that.
  5. Yeah but I also have this pic (I already have most of that already, thanks though), so I'm going off of that.
  6. 5.5 - Added an RAAF version of the Growler. It pretty much is the same as the USN version, but can carry more AAMs due to Australian Air Force requirements Uploaded and awaiting approval
  7. No I haven't, thanks for that EDIT: Found it, and it only has twelve listed. I guess not, so 12 aircraft so far.
  8. Well it's not like decalling is hard, it's just time consuming to me that's all. A lot of repetition like you mention and so on. I mean I finished it for now but seriously need a break from looking at it until tomorrow when I can do some research on how many planes the Aussies have (I want to say 24 as I think they bought some more after 2017 or so. But who knows and I'll find out tomorrow.
  9. Well, I'm too dumb I guess to do that, though I will look into it maybe. Completed as far as it can be done now. I'll hunt down the extra numbers tomorrow, but it looks fairly complete regardless. Incidentally, I took my EPE Growler for some tests and it seems to be an effective plane for jamming SAM sites. The only thing that kills EW planes is that there isn't a multiplayer system to make these planes shine. I mean the possibilities are endless but as such (not to drag into a dead horse conversation) it would be awesome to have some sort of multiplayer to use these planes rather than just whacking SAM sites and that's it.
  10. Working on. You know with all these AI programs floating about you'd think some artist would come to the community and make a "TGA AI program" where it creates all the tga's for you, instead of you doing it manually. As it's a Sunday and I'm making tgas by hand and not enjoying it. Rant over, but an old MoD PDF says that there are 12 serial numbers (aircraft) for the 12 aircraft in 2017. Problem is that my reference files feature more, and I need to figure out how many there are, as currently I'm doing only 12 for now.
  11. And some work on the RAAF Growler. I've seen one pic with dual AMRAAMs (up to four) on a MoD pic, and some other pics shows an outboard (at least inert) rail for a 9X Sidewinder. So I came up with this so far. I don't know the dual rail that it's using, but if anybody knows let me know so I can delete it and use the regular dual rail adapter:
  12. View File VA-46 Clansmen, 1989-1991 For the TMF A-7E (Late) Corsair II This skin represents VA-46 before Desert Storm (1989-1990) timeframe. Given that most of the Operation Desert Storm A-7s are covered via the ODS mod I decided to try my hand at least one A-7 skin. All the folders are created so all you have to do is drop in your mod folder and go fly. Under the dropdown menu, it is under VA-46 Clansmen. Decals were modified from the original VA-66LV files and scanned decals I believe from Dave. For this A-7: Submitter EricJ Submitted 04/16/2023 Category A-7

  13. Had to tweak the insignia, but looks as good as it's going to get, uploaded and waiting for approval.

  15. Definitely WIP scaling of the Clansmen insignia on the tail. I have a set of decals that I believe that were scanned by Dave years ago, and somehow I found them, which in all honesty saved a lot of work. Frankly their high-res and thankfully saved some time on this skin. I have to do the NAVY and the carrier (USS John F Kennedy) but overall I should get it done later on today.
  16. Decided to go with a VA-46 Clansmen in around 1990 or so. I think ODS (I'm quite sure they did) covered the Desert Storm birds so I don't feel like doing those (VA-72 I think it was that also participated in the operation). I'm trying to stay away from decals, but how it's mapped is forcing me to modify the TMF decals:
  17. Ahh yeah, he hasn't been around for years. So probably will rename the skins and maybe upload, or something like that. Thanks
  18. Thanks that is exactly what I'm looking for, thanks :)
  19. A couple of things I'm working on here and there: - RAAF EA-18G Growler. I've seen some stuff online and trying to work on a RAAF Growler. It's a work in progress, but I have some things ready, such as pylons adapted for A2A missiles (seen some photos with some AIM-9X/AIM-120 rails). So far you can turn the Growler into a hybrid Jammer/fighter plane and it's completely legal, from an Aussie standpoint. Also, have to make some decals and so a 6SQN skin. - A-7E, may do a skin or two, depending on how I feel. And does anybody have the TMF A-7E (Late) template or similar lying around? I checked both SF1 and SF2 downloads and no joy. If somebody has some I'd appreciate it. If not I'll grudgingly make my own, or have to. I know there are TW A-7E available, but looking for TMF ones.
  20. Trying my hand at the SLUF
  21. Found another pic of the Vandy 1 Super Hornet. I fixed the tails now: The download will be updated
  22. Cool. Which F-5E is it?
  23. Well, I didn't think that would happen (Didn't realize that it was the whole mod, thought you downloaded a skin pack or something like that). But as mentioned, you may want to try changing the format from JPG to BMP and see if that fixes it. Who uploaded the mod? The reason is you might want to shoot a PM to the mod author and tell him/her that the mod is jacked up, and explain how you fixed it. Maybe the author will do so.
  24. It's loading fine, just the wrong F-5E apparently. This is a gripe of mine, and also from Wrench (I do remember a post about it) that people need to show where and which aircraft it is. I can't help you because the F-5E isn't really popular with me so somebody will chime in. But it's about people not making sure they tell you which aircraft it's for. It's not hard and if you can take the time to do skins, annotating a readme with the information isn't that difficult and makes these posts not show up. But I would suggest removing the skins because it obviously isn't for that F-5E and possibly download the proper F-5E so you can enjoy them.
