  2. This is the gap I mean, the area between the ground and the sky at the horizon thats bright blue, I have tried his distance fix however I must have done it wrong cause it just made my install CTD every time heres a pic

    Yes it is its basically the Turkish Block 50 with some greek parts it was just a simple but VERY needed update on my original F-16E/F release that was pretty awful to be honest

Also more refinements to the AI statements for happy wingmen! 3.0- Best update yet! Redone AI statements for all Strike Eagle Variants, your wingmen and all AI will finally be able to drop dumb bombs on target! Also fixes AI strafing runs and the Strike Eagles will be able to strafe ground targets with accuracy! Also added some nice hanger and loading screens to the F-15SG as some extra eye Candy! Enjoy your new wingies! Update 2.5-Fixed CBU Attack loadout! Updated FM even more! Suggestions always welcome! This is a FM and loadout enhancement package first started by Crusader to kinda bring the Strike Eagle family more up to date with recent advances in SF2 modding ability! This mod changes the order of release for the CFT weapon stations and allows for more customized loadouts in the loadout menu before a mission. These changes along with a new STRIKE loadout of MK82's allows the AI to more easily hit a target. The FM changes are just updates to the FM and more realistic gross weights/Loaded weights etc and should help the AI better manage Flying the Strike Eagle and all its variants. Small updates were also made to the LANTIRN systems of all the jets. Also is an updated F-15i skin touched up by me. This pack covers the F-15 Strike Eagle variants from FastCargo's F-15 Super Pack including the F-15E F-15E_04 F-15I F-15K F-15S and F-15SG Now we just need a new strike eagle cockpit! Thank you especially to Fastcargo for his F-15 pack and crusader for starting the FM mod, and anyone else who has contributed to the F-15's and everyone on CA! Im glad you like it Blaze, basically just played around with the Aimpitchoffset statements and flights over the range, I believe that for whatever reason the AI in SF2 doesnt like negative numbers in the aimpitchoffset statement the updates to the strike eagle FM required changing these statements to positive numbers so that AI aircraft could in fact reliably hit ground targets with both strafing runs and dumb bombs (Mk82's rockeye's etc)
  8. Hey CA and Wrench and all the other lovely admins! haha I may just be thinking out loud here but after looking at the other 4.33 thread I had a light bulb go off... What if one of the owners/admins (I was thinking like Wrench) went to TK and said we will buy the rights to SF series from you and charged all CA subscribers say like 20 bucks (as a random figure) to build the necessary funds for the purchase and then have the rights basically collectively owned by the subscribers/modders here at CA (with the awesome admin's taking priority of course) Heck you could even rename the site "Combat Ace: Home of the Strike Fighters Series" Just a crazy idea I thought up but I thought i should mention it cause it seemed like a viable idea to raise the funds needed and Im sure the follks here would be fine for paying 20 bucks or something to have access to all parts of the game!
  9. So in the Data INI of aircraft theres the AI section as we all know... However Im having a couple issues with the AI sections of a couple of aircraft. The biggest issue is strafing with the F-15E and its variants basically my issue is no matter how I alter the strafing section the jets dont fire a consistent number of bullets and usually too short of the target and sometimes do not even shoot at all I havent been able to figure this out but I will keep playing with it. Anyone have any ideas? or suggestions?
  10. so I seem to have made some headway this morning in fixing the Ai's aim for the F-15E Ive been testing on the China Lake range in SWUS map, does anyone know if the relative altitude of the target in relation to sea level effects anything?

  14. So ive looked around on CA and in my sound folder (sometimes theres some hidden gems haha) But does anyone know of or have a replacement for the stock .50 cal sound? The one now is a little pop gunish haha I dont care of its realistic or not just need something with a little more oomph haha

  21. Strike fighters 2 can look just as good as any sim out there! And no need to spend weeks trying to figure out how to take off! haha
