  1. oh yeah, and IOU. ca'nt forget the classics!
  2. Good question. Somewhere in eastern US / Western Europe, perhaps? We can always schedule more and tour the world, lol.
  3. Hey all! Lets get a thread going about good addons FS2004. Please post links, pictures, etc. Just to keep it on topic, lets try to keep the discussion to a minimum, and keep to the links. I'll start: Kirk Olsson's F-16: http://63.217.28.218/$files/1military/USVIPER.zip http://www.simviation.com/fs2004military2.htm
  4. Anybody up for some flying tonight? Lets schedule a free flight tonight at about 8 est, 5 pac. hopefully we can get some people there to fly... FSHost name: BiohazCentral FS2K Server Server IP: 12.207.244.235 TeamSpeak IP: 12.207.244.235 Hope to see you there!
  5. LOLOL! cya, TTYL!
  6. Here's how I see it: Graphics attract the gamer. Realism stimulates the mind. Multiplayer forms the community. Expansions prolong the game life. Fun holds the gamer to the product. In that order. All are important. Even so, I voted for fun because if it's not fun to play, the phases stop at realism.
  7. I don't think that's possible in LOMAC. I've heard of a way you can make any of the planes "flyable" by switching around models, but the flight characteristics still stay the same as the original.
  8. got a new watch, a few DVDs, and, seeing as I'm going off to college next year, some luggage bags
  9. Well, I'd like to actually talk to someone, but here we go... the mission I'm working on has the player as an A-10. I want them to relieve another flight of A-10s already flying a patrol, and then have that other flight head home. the way I have it set up now, the second set of A-10s shows up, and both flights continue to fly the patrol. how do I send that first one home when the second gets there? Also, the second flight (player) will fly patrol for a while, then a Russian boat comes along. I want the player to head out when the boat comes into sight. Is there a way to set this up?
  10. Ok, let me see try to log on, I want to try this... Yeah same thing, its not finding the server.
  11. Hey guys, I still need help with the mission editor. I need to know how to get some timing stuff right. Someone please help me.
  12. I said mostly, not all :D
  13. Better off here, you bet. Own age and experience? You might be surprised, I'd bet the age range is somewhere near 12-80 years old. and we all have our strengths. But what makes this and the other boards I visit so much better than the UBI boards is the maturity level, no matter the age. People know when to laugh, when to be serious, and know how to help each other out. THAT's what make this place so great.
  14. Dude, this sim looks awesome. I can't wait. (but I guess I'll have to, what with it being 2 years from publishing ;)) And the dev response time is great :D
  15. lol, good read navychief. That's what I like about flight simmers. They're mostly conservative ;)
  16. that's awesome Dante! I thought the ground textures look awesome from alt! kinda weird how they sorta disappeared as you approached the ground though ;) Looks good!
  17. Merry Christmas to all my friends at Biohaz!
  18. oh, and I like the holiday smilies :o ;) :P :D B) :) :(
  19. Ahh yes, very nice. like I said before, looks awesome MJ!
  20. what happened to the plane? AM I just not watching enough news?
  21. Have quit going to the UBI forums? Well, I havn't copletely quit, I still like to go and check the screenshot thread. but other than that, that forum is filled with too many conspirousy theories, whiners, and anti-LOMAC attackers. its just gone down the drain <_<
  22. It looks awesome! thanks MJ!
  23. So here's the consensus, firehawk. Both are extremely beautiful, with great aircraft and multiplayer. FS2004 Pros: good scenery, lots of addons, and it doesn't take a super computer to run it (though I would still advise having a good computer). FS2004 Cons: No action. :P LOMAC Pros: you get to blow stuff up :) campaigns are coming out everyday, extremely detailed scenery. LOMAC Cons: It seems to be selective about which computers it'll run on, and there arn't addons (with the exceptions of repaints and missions). So basically, it boils down to whether or not you want to blow stuff up or not. If yes, LOMAC, if not, FS2004 ;)
  24. Yeah, noticed that too. Looks nice! Thought they seem to be a little rougher around the edges then the blobs.
