so, yeah, I turn on the fps counter... and start the marksman training mission... I get 5.7 fps with everything on ultra high... and 5.8 with everything on ultra low. 1024x768. I get about a frame or two more with 800x600. Ugh. I need a new computer, but upgrading isn't even a question till I get off to college.

I think I have everything set to lower, or whichever one is below normal. thanks for the console link. As for the upgrade, yeah, I'll be doign that in August or so. my MB is about maxed out.

I just downloaded AA2.0 and am in the process of going through training. However, its becoming very difficult to play with the framerates produced by this game. Is there a guide that helps people fit the game to their PC? btw, my specs: P4 1.7 348 PC133 SDRAM Nvidia Vanta 16 Mb

Goodness... And here I was beginning to think you were a good guy... lol As for the whole war thing, our (US) military is the best in the world, and they showed it in Iraq. At no other point in history has any nation fought a war with so much speed, losing so few of our own, and with so little colateral damage. Now for the politics. I'm not sure I agree with the reason we went to war (even as a fairly strong right-wing), putting so much pressure on something we weren't sure about. However, the war happened, and nothing will change that. Saddam has been ousted, and now Iraq is on its way toward a democratic future. Whatever you think about it, that's the way it is.

Imagine, you might be able to play LOMAC with everything on high with that kind of a processor, lol. It'll probably take a year or two for 5.255 GHz to become a common PC speed.

Second, actually ;) but I understand what you're saying. While I have no need for a handgun, I do have a shotgun or two. Technically, my dad owns them, but he never uses them. Its just the dang politics. A few people are stupid, the rest of us have to pay. And to get into the politics, I've never seen the use of those waiting periods. I mean, if someones going to commit an armed crime, they're gonna get a gun some way or another.

OU vs. LSU: Everyone says OU shouldn't be in this game, I say BS. OU has played their hearts out all year and deserve where they're at. It should probably be USC instead of LSU, though, IMO. Anyways, OU will spit in the face of every doubter in the country and beat LSU 24-14. FSU vs. Miami: No one cares. Theses two teams don't want to be there, and nobody cares who wins. So for Snapple's sake, I say FSU 24-10. Michigan vs. USC: USC has something to prove, so they won't chance loosing this game. USC dominates, 28-10. KSU vs. OSU: This will be the matchup of the year, IMO. Probably the two most equal teams in the league, again IMO (I havn't watched OSU very much this year). If I understand correctly, OSU has barely one several of its games, but I think KSU will be feeling a little self-righteous, and start out slow. So, a very close game, KSU wins 17-14.

Hehe, I've got a 21" moniter. Quotin y brother when he first say it: "That's not a moniter, that's a TV" I like it :) It's not flatscreen though, that's the downside.

I can't get my X-45 profiles to work with FS2004. I've gotten the axis to work, but they're set by the game itself. When I click a button, though, nothing happens. How come Fs2004 won't allow my profiles to work?

Well, I'm the only one on, I'm waiting... lol

You could always turn on the taxi helper thing... You can do it from the ATC window, once you get permission to taxi.
