No, I haven't seen it yet, but I plan to as soon as I can. I don't want to read or listen to any of those "reviews" until I 've seen it, though, I'd like to form my own opinion on it first, not on some secularist's view. Though there was a kind of interesting story here in Kansas. During the crucifixion scene, a women in Wichita had a heart attack and died. Well, at least we know where shes at now :)

any other views on this?

This has been discussed several times in the UBI forums. The reason they didn't include the F-22 is because it there just isn't enough data on it to model it correctly. the F-16 has been overdone recently, they wanted to steer away from it. The F-18 and F-14 are not included because they didn't incorporate any naval ops for the NATO side, as doing this would've prolonged the development process for a long time. Also, if they included the F-14, they would have to model the backseater in the cockpit, also prolonging game development time. I beleive both the F-18 and F-14 are on the list for an addon, if the original game sales are good.

I'll be reformating my computer in a couple days. Now, I have two HDs, one 18.65 Gb and one 37.27 Gb. Originally, I was thinking about partitioning off about 6-7 Gb from one and using that as a OS (XP) drive. I wanted this so I could isolate the OS. I would install it, update it, and then not have to mess with those folders anymore (except on the obvious occasion). I think it would just make the computer cleaner and less hassle. Here was what I was thinking: C: = System = 7.27 Gb D: = Programs = 30 Gb E: = Personal Data = 18.65 Gb OR C: = 6.65 Gb D: = 37.27 Gb E: = 12 Gb I wanted to all the system folders onto the C drive, put all my games, extra programs, my "stuff", and such on the D drive, and then use the E drive for personal data. However, my dad told me that in order to play a game with XP, they need to be installed on the same drive as the system, for registry and system file purposes. Is this true? If it is, would option 1 work, as it would be on the same PHYSICAL drive, but not the same partition? Or do I have to live with the system stuff?

Doesn't Look Like A Lot Of Interest For Wwi Sims
PG_Raptor replied to SDirickson's topic in WWI Flight Sim Discussion
heh, I like that description snapple. That would be fun, flying with joystick with one hand and pointing a revolver with the mouse with another... Sounds like fun!!! the best mixture of fps and sim, lol. Dive bombing trenches... I'm interested in a good WWI sim, just as much as any other era sim. Heck, a good WWI sim, IL2, Jet Thunder, and LOMAC, you've got the whole spectrum! -
The F-15 is not as good as it should be, the developers know this, and they have been trying to fix this in different patches. As for the choice of aircraft, how can you say they left out the heavy hitters? the A-10 is probably the hardest hitting plane in the world, lol. And the F-15 is probably the best NATO fighter. The reason it has more russian jets is because LOMAC is the brainchild of Flanker, which featured only russian jets. Its easier to make 6 russian jets, 3 of which were already almost done, than to make 6 start-from-scratch NATO jets.

I Found it!!! (Where they came from, not what they are.) www.rathergood.com The person that gave me this link also said that they were originally from one of his videos, and that they're "sponge monkeys". Though I havn't found that video yet...

You're right snapple, I let my political feelings get in the way. As such, I will not replay to this thread anymore, until a political forum is formed, and we can have discussions on more specific topics.

To be honest, the national debt isn't as big of a deal that the liberals are making it. Sure, its not as blue sky and the republicans are making it out to be, either. But the world isn't coming to an end. Where I will I be when Bush gets out? In 5 years, I'll be in the Air Force. I will have graduated from one of the nations prestigous flight schools, that I payed for through scholarships that i worked hard for. After that, I'll become a civilian pilot, and become rich. (well, that's the plan :D) Sorry Foo, but your liberal conspiricy theories aren't going to turn many people. The answer to this deficet (actually, to most of America's problems) is not government action. the answer comes from individual hard work. If a person cannot work hard enough through their life with enough morals and dedication to what they beleive in, they do not deserve to be rich. While a liberal socialist view is ideal, it DOESN'T WORK. Look at reality.

By the way, what do you think they do with all those random coupons? I'm sure they get some pretty wierd ones, but the useful ones, do they just give them to their employees? lol "Here's a pile of coupons, take your pick"

I really don't care about the ads. The only thing that makes Quiznos so letdownish is that fact that their one unique thing, toasted subs, isn't that good. They have all their ovens set too fast and too hot. Whenever I get their sandwiches, they have burnt corners and cold insides. If they would lower the temperature and halve the over speed, they would have great sandwiches. Oh yes, and the pepper bars are pretty good too :)

DUDE... If that guy hadn't twisted at the last second, his neck would've been lion food! WOW! Very lucky guy. There's no cause for celebration in that kill.

maybe I should specify. The purpose of a seperate politics forum is so that those who feel like they are being repressed, think someones policies are stupid, etc, can have a place to discuss them with others. Yes, snapple, one with the gloves off. As such, controversial subjects are going to and are expected to come up. From the other ones I have seen, there are a few rules: 1. No personnal attacks on forum members. 2. Cussing is permitted, but only in a strict sense (ie no long strings of such language), and only when used sparingly. Common sense is the other rule. Anything that breaks these rules is immediatly deleted. With this type of forum, people can get things off their chest. Those that do not want to read/participate in such proceedings do not have to. Lastly, it is good for public debate. I dont' think such a forum on Biohaz would hurt anyone. It would be better to have such dicussions on that forum then here.

Before I blow up on anyone here for this... MJ, do you think it's possible to create a new "politics" forum? One specifically set aside for these kinds of discussions? I've seen them on other sites, and they've worked pretty good. Thanks :)

That's pretty cool, I might have to look into AC. Thanks snapple!

Hey that looks cool! what is it, a American Revolution game? got a link for it?
-
hey! MJ! any pics? I want to see, I want to see! lol

lol. Well posted zag! Now if you could just convince my parents...
-
Hey, that's a nice looking bird! I'll have to get that one...

Actually, Fates, I found totalchoicehosting.com yesterday, and am looking into that (silver plan). Think they compare? I found them from a review site, I heard great stuff about their support.

Hey MJ, I have a few questions for ya. Who hosts your domain? do they provide good service? reasonable rates? I'm looking into getting my own domain, and need some advice on who to buy from. I need something with no ads, and enough bandwidth to run a reasonable site. any help would be great.
-
I dunno about that. Have you seen Kirk's F-16 for FS2004? He modeled the arms and legs in there too, and it look GREAT. very smooth and realistic. but I agree with the above, it would be best to not be able to see the floor!

Yeah, that's what sucks about good books. You read it, and then... what are you gonna do? (hint: read it again) :D
