    You might want to fix the description, the plane is a F-15C Eagle, not Hornet. But, since you mentioned Hornets, I am wondering about Grun squadron paint scheme. That one is so hard to do. If you manage to do it, you're a god! Garm 2, Pixy: "It's starting to come down..." Valais Air Base: "This is Base Command. Guess all you boys managed to get up. Galm 1, Galm 2, maintain present course." AWACS Eagle Eye: "Bearing 315, Belkan bombers approaching." Garm 2, Pixy: "Nobody wants to bail out into a mountain of ice. We're counting on you, flight leader!" Valais Air Base: "All units, prepare to intercept." Garm 2, Pixy: "You'd better have our pay ready and waiting!" Valais Air Base: "That's only if we both make it through this alive." Garm 2, Pixy: "Be ready to pay up. We'll be back before you know it!" So many memories...

  6. Also, be careful not to use the old LOD. AFAIK the CF-18 available in various mod packages still uses a very old LOD, while the American and RAAF Hornets have been updated properly with high quality skins and new LODs. There was also an interesting CF-18 mod which reproduced the various upgrades the plane received during the years (much like stock SF2 aircraft, you could choose between various CF-18s, with different year span, loadouts, avionics, etc). I look forward to this new project of yours, 1977Frenchie! The CF-18 needs a proper update!
  7. I have no particular aircraft in mind, but I made a list of most of immediate post-WW2 era aircraft that are present in my huge install, both transport planes and bombers and fighters. Keep in mind that some come from other CombatACE mod packages (nothing of Crapun stuff, things like Wings Over Korea, paulopanz's complete skin packages, etc), so it's just a list to give you an idea of what might be worth checking out. Some of those planes have been released by you recently, so I do not think they need any fixes. So, feel free to do what you want with the list, there are no particular requests from me.     I love it, everything works like a charm! I wonder if the download section could be slightly reworked. Now, if I select certain categories, no downloads appear, unless I select one specific sub-category. For instance, I go to the Cold War aircraft category, no planes are shown. If I select a sub-category, like US aircraft, no downloads are shown, so I must select a specific plane sub-category (F-15, F-16, etc). So, should I want to find the recently updated stuff in the Cold War category, ATM it's not possible, I think. Just my input, no negative criticism intended. The rest of the site is just plain wonderful!
  12. Nice work, Wrench! I am more interested in post-WW2 era, but some of those aircraft were used in the 50s, so well, I think it's worth having them fixed.

    Nice topic, this should be moved to The Arena, I think. I agree with you guys. It's totally non-sense. It's like they are trying to erase parts of history. In their messed up point of view, we Europeans should get rid of the remnants of Nazi concentration camps, and so on. Even statues and monuments have a historical meaning. That kind of slavery existed, it's pointless to remove such statues in the attempt of rewriting history. Future generations need to know the past for what it had been. Anyway, I am not that much informed about American history, so I can't understand the reasons behind such decisions completely. All I see is that the US is getting more and more divided, not in a good way.

  17. New trailer for Ace Combat at Gamescom 2017: The screenplay promises to be top notch, as usually delivered by Sunao Katabuchi.
  18. It has to do with some values in the aircraft _data.ini. Things like wing span etc. might have wrong values, so the plane is treated as being smaller than its 3D model really is.
