thanks nbryant, mm if you put the latest updates on you can choose not to exit the sim when dead/badly damaged try that it may help. Otherwise make sure you have a 3.1 cfs3.exe too.

One Zero -the weather in realistic mode is based on historical data. The weather really was bad. Given they did fly on iffy days, there was a war on. If you don't like those things, try the copious options in WORKSHOP. Things like random weather, change the AI gun range, 2 seater skill etc. The missing planes? Yes everyone says where is the <insert favourite craft here>. Takes time, we'll get there one day lol. The front lines are pretty accurate (more than just about any WW1 I can think of ever) some areas were not clearly defined, and broken with untouched woods/ground, it was not all brown mud. So balloons would also have to cover all sorts of areas too. Bear in mind it's a sim so it's not possible to make everything perfect, and exactly as real life, but many many things are extremely well researched and close as we can get. We are trying. P4 will be even better. AI try the other mode, see Workshop again. Fails to appear on your score? You put a claim in I guess?

Hi Tracer168 welcome. Wow unlucky on both counts :) What date where you at when the mission stopped? Did you perchance have a weird character in your new pilot name? If it happens again copy that file you mention c:/obdsoftware/cfsww1%20over%flanders20%missions/historical/OFF_Camp_Mission.xml somewhere and send it to support please. Cheers

Try knocking scenery/terrain sliders down a notch in graphics config (see FAQ as Uncleal links above).

..and do not use ; to separate witness names.

AVG a while back had an issue with false report of a virus in OFF. AVG fixed it with an update apparently. BH&H will install again after you clean out all the old install folders as uncleal says, please see the FAQ.

Ok John glad you sorted it, thanks. Install the BH&H DVD, then the BH&H superpatch 1.32 and mini patch 1.32g both specifically for BH&H, then install HitR, then HitR minipatch.

OFF doesn't look that dark at all on my screen, OvS that pic looks about 2 stops too dark (in photography terms) on my screen. Did you calibrate your video display OvS?

..and as Uncleal says we do not have all possible variants of each and every craft (otherwise we'd never get anything done ;)) For example Eindecker III stands in for I and II and IV usually until we can make those. Some craft had dozens of variants in - lots of work to make all. One day...

It's certainly has the feeling of flight and fantastic visuals. It does feel a little arcade in places, for example some models like the b17 are very low poly looking etc (simple texture for the engine), but makes up for it with great immersion from the rest of the graphics, scenery and effects. I was disappointed with one of bombers I flew that had no cockpit mode (well you can fly from there but have no cockpit graphics around you). Scenery is stunning in places, but it would need a way to make flights longer for WW1 I think.

There is no "phone home" in there :) internet connection is NOT required (apart from buying or downloading patches when you choose).

Scenery is a million miles better now though, and don't forget that is comparing to one of the first models I ever made- the new scenery and models look another heap better too :) P4 will be a heap better too :) here's some old, and new shots of OFF, with higher res; Much better all round I think, even the earlier skins, models, scenery is a huge improvement.

The RPM will drop with alt FB, but even if it doesn't show it's stated RPM, the performance of the craft is correct. We have added turbo to many to help with altitude performance and to give a way for engine type and carburettor type/performance for various types to be accounted for given there are no settings in CFS3 for things like that (with great help from Bletchley). So the performance of the engine gives max alt, speed, climb etc corrected for craft/engine type and carburettor type/performance for various types. It may SOUND like it isn't due to the revs matching up with engine sound but the performance is usually correct where possible. So it's not always black and white and you are getting the correct performance usually, DH5 excepted, this has been improved for the next patch. Pfalz was similar to DIII in performance with much better dive - but in the field most pilots reports are they were much inferior in climb and turn due to becoming much worse quickly with weathering, and many were supplied with poor reconditioned engines etc. Make sure you have the latest patches installed as performance was improved.

I cannot get to the cc entering bit it says CC disabled currently. i.e. not my CC, but their CC system is not available currently ;) When you go to add some $ or whatever credit to your account to allow you to buy and you click on $49.99 CC it says: yuPlay » Credit cards Cards processing has been disabled for a while and will be restored in the nearest future. Sorry for the inconvenience. " One of the other options links to a website in Russian and I don't want to sign up to yet another pay system.

We can't forget, it's already fixed, but we still have to test the actual update, so whatever you post here will make no difference what so ever :) It's soon so hang in there. We aren't slow with patches compared to some even though it was over Christmas ;)

I like it, but I'm with UKW how to buy it? I just registerd an account went to buy it with yums (err..) and then it requires the CC again, which is disabled. So basically you can't actually buy it now or am I missing something?

Or all three sounds like a party !
