  2. Well Happy Birthday to us, corktip, has been my birthday too. And I spent it recovering an abandoned dog, gaining his trust, feeding him, and finding him a new home! His happines at the end of the day has been a great gift

In the readme you state, that one has to fidget with loadout in order to have the proper rack showing Which is okei for loadout taken from the loadoutfile, but it happens that when brimstone for instance are player-chosen and not preloaded it loads, , as you stated, th first compatible rack found; is there any workaround with this, r I am making mistakes?

My two cents Strike fighters series is a jem for the long list of reaosn we already know; No need to look further but improve what is already there, with a few details. -air refuelling -better muliplayer that allows custom made missions and operations -ai routine for release of guided weapons in campaing -better brirfing screen and planning options -ag radar modes othr than that SFP1 s perfect. Focusing the changes in this direction would be great. I would pay for a patch or an expansion, say strikefighters pro, that allows what said before Point being is, will TK support thiis? I don't see why not, could be a big bussiness

I have a few question about this plane, which must be a brilliant brand new model -It comes with no avionics file which makes sense considering that the pit (custom pit too !) has no radar screen. In the data.ini thoguh there is a a [detectai] entry which implies the use of a radar by the airplane. I don't know if the trainer had air to air radar or any radar at all, what do you think?)again, detail, if you want no radar you delete the detectai entry, and if you want radar you cut and paste some avionics form another mig-21 -can you elaborate more about the use of chute/speedbrake, I checked the dataini, and everythign revolves around the use of deploywhenonground entry, correct? -can you tell me more about the entry for the gunpod, whose model is built in the airplane, but does require an entry n the weaponsdata. How exactly you manage that, it would be useful to understand for ll the planes that use some type of gunpod systems Thank yu again, for the modeling idea as well as for the new cute bird

  14. Dave, allow me to explain myself for the 100th time please. I am not saying "what is the point" or "why bother" because of the F-22. If anything I am frustated to a dynamic campaign system that makes useless all modern aircrafts whose payload is made mainly of guided weapons" and yadayadayada. I don't like rivetcounters as much as you do, and it is not me nitpicking at the raptor. And specifically about raptor , it could be used in his native AA roles in campaign beautifully, not to mention scripted missions, therefore it is no "inutile (useless)" as I posted and you probably read. My inutile was meant at a frustation agaisnt the campaign system. Thus saying I was on the list of those waiting for the raptor, for the ef-2000, for everything else falls from the sky (in the good sense). And I am on the list of those trying to be active member of this community and askign questions and learning. As for the country-thing, must have been a misunderstanding on every side and can be discarded I guess Like sparko says, we are allied in the war agaisnt terrorism, which threatens our western lifestyle and morals Everything else is details I guess, and I apologize should my words sounded offensive to anyone

    Dear Dave, you could have read this one as well, in which I am not criticizing F-22, but the SIM itself and what I believe to be a major limitation of the SIM, not of modders work. Translation for this post that was in answer to others who were discussing the f-22 in this thread; the post would sound like : no no We are not demining the mod. We are criticizing the idea and the uselessness of this plane in the dynamic campaigns, siince like every modern aircraft using guided weapons, is useless in every role but air-qir the post you quoted (which was related to my fellow countrymen's comments, and it was in answer to someone else in this thread that did not know the "secret of the AI not delivering guided weapons") sounds instead like "I agree. Let me remind it can't release guided weapons when flown by the AI, making it useless in dynamic campaing: i know I am fixated but this is a big bug, and not the f-22" And I am not the only one that has this feeling. But as you can read nopw, perphaps more clearly, dave, I am not insulting your work or any work of the modder. I understand you are under he crossfire of the "rivetcounters" I understand. There is already who is saying the cockpit is wrong, the flightmodel is wrong, and obviously this bothers you. Well this is not me though I am "blowing the whistle" to Sim's limitations, not mods. I am not insulting the f-22; it is a needed airplane in nowadays fighterworld, and an excpetional achievemnt of USA technology. If anything, I am just frustated that due to SIM limitations it can't be used at his best in dynamic campaign; this is a fact. Other than that it is a great release, thank you and all of the modders; I don't think it is something to be offended about that I am frustated of the limitations that the campaing engine puts to this one and other mods Compliments,on the other hand for your command of italian and for your monitoring skill. I can't help but feeling under "special" surveillance thoguh and therefore uncomfortable, while I have not offended anyone, nor criticized mods, never demanded. IF anything only tried to make the sim more enjoyable, and learn about it. I hope you checked also the posts with baltika for example. I am constructive and not destructive.
  18. Brilliant Baltika. I am having huge fun Questions, again, which might answer some otther campaign issue too -I am flying Bf-109-3b, and 80% of the time I get two ships mission generated. I know I can add more wingmen, but why the system generattes two planes sorties? -Which parameter dictates if you are going to have more than one strike tasked fights in a given mission? I noticed that by raising the missionrates up to one per day activity increases -last but not least. I NEVER so far seen Ju-87 mission generated. It happens in other campaigns I have that some squasron or type of planes never gets missions. any idea? -I bombed the area RDF by Dover; missed target antenna but I had splash bomb water effect with Sc-250 bombs EDIT: just flew side by side to a Stuka formation, my mistake I am having huge fun flying the bf-109-e3b, an intersting concept, "expetcted to act as fighter after bomb precision release" somethign we have to wait fr the f-15E to do, later on. Another thing, am I wrong or there is no dive-bombing in the game?

    No no X-ray non si sta criticando l'aereo, che in sè è fatto bene nei LIMITI di SFP1 Si critica l'idea e l'inutilità di base di un aereo che nella campagna dinamica come tutti gli aerei moderni che usano armi guidate, è inutile in ogni ruolo tranne aria-aria

    NESSUNA squadriglia in volo, di nessun tipo di aereo sggancerà armi guidate. Questo non vale per la squadriglia gestita dal giocatore.
