  3. download the catpack extractor from this site. What you do is get the relevant objectxx.cat file make a COPY of it and put it in the catpack folder - then simply drag it over the catpack.exe file and it will autorun.
  4. If you have a merged install it works in all 3 of the current SF2s btw
  5. Wow nice work there lindr2!
  6. This is from Mr TK on that issue by TK on Thu Jul 02, 2009 9:42 am Which F-4 are you having problem with? Later model F-4 are more protected than earlier models, for example. Fuel leak will only happen on unprotected fuel tanks, A-10 have self-sealing fuel tanks so you're not likely to see fuel leak situation on that. Try older aircraft if you want to see fuel leaks. Individual fuel tanks and engines has its own settings in regards to fire extinguisher. Usually, wings tanks are not protected (I guess theory being that they'll be empty by the time you get to the battle, while fuselage tanks are. Also, the engine fire depends on the engine temperature, if you had it running hot all the time, then its more likely to catch fire (and not extinguish).
  7. Sad to see both copped it RIP! :(
  8. Lots of ways check section 1 here first - you shouldnt be putting them in the games core files anymore! http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?s=&am...st&p=301650 btw this needs to be moved out of the Knowledgebase
  9. For Single missions they are - but they can be included in custom campaigns if desired
  10. Thats an interesting Mix - asuming no mods - have you updated Direct X?
  11. I can sort these out over the next few weeks (if the weather cools down!)

  15. wow - suggest you make your next task in life to install the Oct 2008 patch which will totally change the game in lots of ways! Its a version of direct X you need - the link is this http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...6a-9b6652cd92a3 hit the continue button - install the genuine valid tool when prompted so it can validate you. you then SAVE the file to your desktop - and when its downloaded double click it - the defaults are ok if asked
  16. No change for me - but good to see its getting something more out of dual cores with the latest cards

  20. Sorry its past my bedtime
  21. A word on deleting modded installs - hopefully obvious to most but suggest backing them up for a bit in case you need something later or want to see how something was done before!
  22. Yep same as most others here i suspect - so its a kinda start from scratch - can any from NF5 be used even? I think we need a centralised list as a start that can be spilt up to avoid duplication.
  23. aircraft shortnames shadows canopy glass props Anyone not sure can look here first: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?s=&am...st&p=301650
  24. Have done most of the Voodoos F-101A/B/C and RF-101B/C/G and tons of others - though most have changed names/dates/loadouts from the original downloads as they have been customised to fit my own installs!
  25. Most things will actually work in SF2 if you are prepared to try things and tweak things yourself. Some fixes for SF2 are already on here - there are a few bits in the knowledgebase you will find useful: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?s=&am...st&p=301650
