  1. to be fair all my flying now is in Jonathan's "extra-suprises movie-based" campaign so take this into account, but still... have yet to see OPFOR make it to the heaters range
  2. must be the new 100% kill ratio TK introduced I have now somewhere around 50-75% in July patch, mostly flying Tomcat with Sparrows
  3. aircraftobject.ini, also since few years can be set by plane in their respective master inis
  4. I won't... to low budget
  5. really?
  6. yeah, surely, all those who invest in DCS titles have no idea of 60s planes
  7. which is..?
  8. somehow I think TK doesn't understand fully the amount his "niche" has grown these days... It's time to say to TK "hey Mister, we're no longer in 2002, things HAVE changed!" Ok name me three simulators, 3rd party ventures aside that have modeled together: Hunter, Skyhawk, Canberra, Phantom set against Fresco, Fagot, Beagle, Badger You say..? Didn't heard you, speak louder
  9. same engine, different title IMO, with no mods for common server and selected ones for others, see no issues there. File check at server level, sealed key-check mods to use BIS style. Works in Arma series
  10. oh the freeware PSP version, had it for years too DARoot!
  11. don't think so, but haven't looked into it... but that would explain why ED's cockpits sucks in general -FC2/LOMAC ones for example are quite flat bitmap ones really compared to say TW Series2 ones
  12. surely IRIS for example makes great FS planes (haven't bought them personally for FSX, speaking about pics and vids) but DCS modules will face these issues IMO 1) coding the avionics/fm/dm stuff right 2) not making them insanely difficult to operate 3) releasing in forsible future also some relatively sense timeframe in general would be nice, that would require some comunications between groups about back on topic... TW could quite easily* re-release some of their stuff for DCS... just sayin'... ED already stated they don't expect the modules to be all of A-10/Ka-52 fidelity *quite easily=not having to build and map the models and pits from scratch edit: clarification: relatively sense timeframe = not having group A releasing Bearcat, group B F/A-18F and Group C Harrier Gr.1... not to mention lack of new theaters so far
  13. hmm, the developers of those modules can easily kill the joy by going over the top realism way, I aint holding my breath yet
  14. Jonathan, problem is TK does zip to broaden his fan base. No press releases, flat refusal to even suggestions of doing interviews AFAIK for flightsim sites, no tiny WIPs others cream all over the forums etc. I wish all those 15k+ fans from FB were real buyers of at least one title but dunno. I wish. SF NA was best occasion to do so, didnt happened
  15. Two for me: IrfanView, great graphic formats viewer/batch conversion/adjustments/effects/etc application, for both batch texture works and photos manipulation (to an extend) "It is designed to be simple for beginners and powerful for professionals." http://www.irfanview.com Moffiki's Autoclicker premium: freeware mouse autoclicker app I use to make TODs for SF series also have some use in PS-type programs, basically clicks your mouse set number of times with set miliseconds intervals http://www.mofiki.com/2011/mofikis-automatic-mouse-clicker/
  16. interesting SZ... I guess it's not possible to buy that title anywhere..? I've seen some 3 screenshots of it somewhere at best
  17. right now away from my system, trying to play at 1,4 Ghz, 1 Gb ram XP, 256 GF7300 GT suprisingly SF2 Jun2010 runs... at medium
  18. I agree, would be too obvious giveaway
  19. I'll install DCS World when it's finally downloaded, add A-10 to it, I must say now that they opened to 3rd party modules it looks more and more promising -already seen some hq stuff WIPs on their forums
  20. dumped some 40 Gb of Thirdwire installs, need to make space. Yes it hurts, but need keep my installs organized and user-friendly

Well I do now after a rebuild I replaced both 500gb's HD's with Terrabyte Drives and then have 4 500gb's drives for back up... though I generally only use 2 the others are setup to run as spares as and when required...

  21. we have two excellent sound pack, one is voicepack by Renegade the other fx pack by Brennus: http://combatace.com/files/file/11855-sfg1wmspeechrar/ and http://combatace.com/files/file/12887-strike-fighters-2-sounds/ this combined with Crusader's avionics tweaks, weapons edits should do fine
  22. Don't think so to be honest, that would make us dwell into ever possible subvariant -which leads to adding another and another ->6GB compilation
  23. true Kevin (how's at Weyland? Payin' good? ) but you did some additional targeting to stock maps that possibly could be included, like for IsraelME, but I think those require additional terrain objects etc
  24. 15 MB??!! Oh noes! heh I wonder how many remember times when one had to download thrilling whole 3 MB WADs for Doom2
  25. dunno, this way we go straight into 6+ GB NF type install, I think primary this realism mod should focus on ini files tweaks..?
