  5. +1 for Lightning more ground activity would be nice, with mixed units types edit: some prop for red side maybe?
  6. Back in early August 2009 I payed 60+ bucks for ROF including shipping to where I live. Not going to pay them (Neoqb) a single dollar more! I fell ripped off. Still no playable campaign with historically matching era-specific planes, not a single one (1) new 2-seater nor heavy bomber to shoot at, no ground warfare, lack of any ground-activity detail, performance worsen with every new patch. And could someone explain this to me -IF I uninstall ROF now, but would like to return to it in the (far) future -I'd need to download some then 2-3 GB of patch data before starting, right? Man I love forced updates... Red Orchestra on Steam anyone? Sorry if I sound negative, but I'm deeply disappointed by ROF and the developer's approach This title still is, and going to be incomplete release IMO.

  9. I keep thinking of Baltic scenario. Remember there are plans for TWO expansion packs for SF2Europe prior to Tomcat, so building OOB for this part of the globe for re-use with Tomcat points towards Baltic (or GIUK) theatre. And yes, I'm dying to see some preview shots of the terrain engine -as TK stated at some point -no editor, all build in MAX and paint programs... I think the update to older terrains would be quite challenging ...and brand new SF2 title in 2011... man...

  13. Surely I will Ansons2! Not nitpicking, just an advice from my side :yes: but blend them with background, blend... like here: notice how the trees are matching the overall saturation and ground pallete of the set in the example, looks quite good I'd say

  16. new map or FE2 one imported? My bet's on FE2 seeing Jan Tuma's treework I've tried adding FE maps to series1 with less than playable results, have yet to try this in FE2/SF2 generation
  17. nice, nice... but try making the trees less saturated, no these really stand out from the background, make the graphics less vivid. I'm refering to Corsica shots, to be precise anyway I like it!

  21. so, if we don't keep this just to planes: 1) modern 3D Mission Editor 2) modern 3D Terrain Editor 3) modern 3D Targetareas Editor something in style of Janes' ATF/FA, USAF, or IL21946 would do just fine, compared to what's available now
  22. Unfortunately not an easy way -the particles system currently rejects long intervals (in seconds) between spawning particles in given emitter... I've set them originally to appear several seconds apart, doesn't work, still spawns few per second -apply to all effects I introduced here. I'd love to have them between 3,4 up to 10, maybe 15 seconds, with some random factor, but nogo atm. I'm still trying to lower the number of spawned effects as they indeed do look a bit off.
