  2. Could be the reason. Playing SFG on my previous, few years old system, I had sometimes white, textureless LODs on some of the more memory hungry planes. They were loading without textures, but not causing CTD or hangup, still acceptable framerate. TK may be smartest dev around

  5. Orsin, all he tods that have "J" in their name, cover the forests tiles, and their transitions. I.e GermanyJ1.tod, corresponding to GermanyJ1.bmp is one of forest tiles, while GermanyGJ75B.tod (and GermanyGJ75B.bmp) is 75% fields (G) to forests (J) transition. Also there are so called 3-way transitions, like GermanyGJ-R, being farms and forests on the left (GJ) transiting to the grasslands ® on the right of the tile. Plus all the roads, rivers, sea and so on, all that have Germany*J*.tod in their name, covers the woods areas.   6. Yes, they can be used, the version included in NF3 (Brain32's work BTW! I only send him the source TE ini files) is an older Forests&Farms 1 version. The 4-seasons is more detailed, visually better Forests&Farms 2 as I call it.
  7. I think the flickering was caused by old alphaobjecttexture data settings I don't use anymore. Jan Tuma's alternative heightmap is a fine addition, makes Europe look much better and real, but the only problem is that my large tree rows in forests float above ground sometimes, due to their size. 8800GT 512 here, no problems so far Nice to hear you like it
  8. IIRC the custom effects don't work in SF2. Maybe after patching, but I didn't yet time to update my SF2. Also make sure you add proper entries in missileobject.ini to have effects working, regardles of game version
  9. No, lights on the airfields is different mod. This one is just about the natural environment.
  10. Yes, skyscrappers are included in every detail versions. For WoV cities I'd suggest Green Hell 2
  11. Have you patched your copy of FE? Flak used to cause stuttering, but one of early patches fixed it.

    Seasoned WOE scaled up trees. As some (including me) prefer the bigger trees, here they are. See the screenshot for size comparision. As before, 3 levels of complexity. Pick the version you want, unpack to your GermanyCE folder, overwrite.

  15. Should work without problems, as this replaces the terrain textures and objects only. You'll just have to overwrite the Brain32's tileset, tod and ini files that's included with NF3. And delete the GermanyCE.TFD file if present in you GermanyCE folder

  17. I'll check the tiles C5, but make sure you don't use Brain32's GermanyCE.TFD file! He introduced one extra coast tile IIRC in his great HR repaint @Spectre_USA -In case of problems, shoot me a PM, but knowing what your mega-install is gonna be, there shouldn't be much troubles I guess
  18. There are several types of trees introduced, every type has random size factor set; so they differ in shape and height, for bigger visual realism.
