  1. I'm right here.. Instal procedure seems ok, only I never installed the "downscaled' trees mod... You see the tileset by Brain32, right? and where exactly did you put the .tod files from "medium" folder? These should go right into VietnamSEA ddirectory, not in some subfolder...

    WOE z ok. 1200 MB (wersja elektroniczna) rozrasta się do około 5 giga. Najmilej mi się lata Tornadami oraz Jaguarami (obydwa w poprawionych wersjach -HUD, awionika, repaint kokpitu w Tornado itp.), ale to zależy co kto lubi ; framerate trochę niższy (patch oct08, uaktywnione rzeczywiste cienie dla modeli które ich nie stosowały, datalink w radarach naziemnych) ale ograniczenie cieni do medium i wyłączenie luster zawsze pomaga
  8. Pearl Harbor, limited only to flight sequences is ok. Also missing on the list are Dark Blue World and Behind Enemy Lines, quite a decent movies. But my vote goes to Bob and Flight of the Intruder.

    Mod jest naprawdę fantastyczny, w pierwszej misji (F-117) naliczyłem 84 samoloty w powietrzu a to i tak w trakcie, gdy kilka już spadło Teren trochę ubogi, ale intensywność wydarzeń (SAMy!) rekompensuje pewne niedostatki z nawiązką. Polecam!

  13. For this example I refer to the EE3 version flares: copy from EE3.zip or other install these files, and overwrite when asked: CountermeasureEffect.ini EE3_FLARE_ANI9.tga EE3_flareflash.tga EE3_NUKESMOKEWHITE.TGA and you should have them working!
  14. It was early 2005, a friend of mine (hardcore sims fan) gave me Wings Over Vietnam. I tested it briefly, and put it on shelf, quite disappointed, mainly due to low frametare and absence of clouds. Then few months later I was browsing net searching for Janes' ATF addon libraries... on one site I saw pic of Vark cockpit for WoV. "So, it's moddable" ignited in my mind... decided to try it again. From Column5s site to CombatAce, rest is history. My first "mods" I did were in early 2006, private effects swaps and graphics edits for Edward's Solomons campaign. Damn I was so scared when I uploaded my first tiny effects mod (newgunsfx) here in November 2006. But you guys were so kind not to ban me after that
  15. Deuces Effect Pack #3 is the most popular and realistic, but you can try Enhanced Explosions 2 or 3 too but most effects are included in Bunyap's weapons packs (again by Deuces)

Viggen, using the CAT extractor, extract from your FlightData.cat file "particlesystem.ini", and try lowering the values in red: [ParticleSystem] MaxParticlesPerEmitter=512 MaxEmitters=2048 MaxEffects=1024 MaxFields=128 AdditionalEffectsFolder=Effects it's on top of the file, reduce them by half: [ParticleSystem] MaxParticlesPerEmitter=256 MaxEmitters=1024 MaxEffects=512 MaxFields=128 AdditionalEffectsFolder=Effects As for clouds, maybe try removing/renaming "environmentsystem.ini" from flight folder, DS mod has Widesky version included if i'm not mistaken

Sir, they aren't much CPU hungry... few months ago, testing Czechoslovak S-105, I've experienced a friendly flight of 12 Tu-95s droppin' about 24 bombs each... the trail lasted several miles on the ground... 288 bombs, my system had severe slowdown, but survived. Generally effects in the series are quite flexible, knowing what you're doing. It's up.
