  1. Yeah well, now we have avionics to go with it as well as the new awesome autoshadowing.

    Space Hulk

Thanks to these guysthe original game has been updated and refined to run on modern systems.
  3. Now that we finally have a proper F-16 and F-22 perhaps that Strike Commander mod idea is workable.
  4. There is no need to slavishly follow "historical realism" as far as scenarios go. I say pull out the full monty and go all out conventional ww3 against the russkies.
  5. Tbh, the bare minimum ought to be something similar to EECH.
  6. Hitlerstadt Göringshofbaden Wurstberg Dummersdorf Fuchsenwald Volkersdorf Albrechtenstadt
  7. What about a strategic bomber sim like the old Megafortress game where the emphasis is on manning the different stations and penetrating enemy airspace undetected? It could be a study sim of something like the B-58, B-52, B-1 or even B-2.
  8. Maybe the JASDF has a good memory of what happened last time a nuclear bomber entered it's airspace.
  9. Why not just record swish versions of all the speech?
  10. AFX-653 actually. No idea what kind of a name it'd have had it ever went into service.
  11. Too bad for you it takes second priority to this:
  12. Whoever wants to have the pain of unwrapping this, just say so.
  13. Don't be afraid if the girl has a sausage. I don't it qualifies as homosexuality if it's neither a he nor a she but something in between. Then again you probably need to wear a hazmat condom.
  14. I have a B-36 early wip for anyone who wants to finish it.
  15. 10mt yield should do it I think? No, it's probably to do with groundbursts vs airbursts.
  16. Anyone have any to share? I personally like the "over the shoulder" approach: Using the A-5A, on approach to the target, hit the burners and accelerate to supersonic speed at between 3-10000ft. At about 5 miles out, start pulling up. When you hit about 80-85dgs, hit the bombrelease and let it slide out the back. Next continue your pullup over the top and finish with an immelman into a dive to pick up speed. Level out at 1-3000ft as the speed boost during the dive should give you time to escape the blast. Now look as your bomb totally nails the target. Now, since we do not have a working LABS or VERDAN system, we can use the external views to manually estimate correct release angle. With some practice you'll be able to reach astonishing levels of accuracy.
  17. Yeah I mean, by this point I've totally perfected the "over the shoulder" technique with the A-5 and I f***ing nailed the hangar (seriously, like within 50m of it) and no destruction at all.
  18. Are the targets like commbuilding and bridges totally immune to anything that has a fusing distance greater than 0m?
  19. If you're going to Yokosuka, I'd suggest you visit the Mikasa memorial ship. They have a pretty neat Yamato museum on board as well. Then you have only like a 2hr ride into Tokyo where I'd suggest you go to places like Shibouya (Nightclubs), Asakusa (It's a temple district and they have this pretty neat shopping street where you can find all sorts of traditional japanese things), Akihabara which is also known as Electric Town where you can find tons of cheap electronic stuff as well as some quite extensive hobby shops. And if you ever get bored all you have to do is take the Shinkansen some two hours to Gala Yukuzawa where they have some neat skislopes.
  20. I mean, the B-36 is the only aircraft designed to carry the T12 43.600lb bomb.

    Heath Ledger

I think he was a good actor, given his performance in Brokeback Mountain which I actually happen to think was a great little film. I wonder how he'll be as the Joker.
  22. Actually I'd like a coldwar-era bomber sim like the old Megafortress game where you have to man the different stations and where all the fun lies in navigating past, jamming and generally trying to avoid the enemy air defences.
