  1. sounds suspiciously politically motivated...not cool
  2. just found a computer virus...somehow win32pinfi made it through...think it happened after I put a new HDD in and before I made it around to re-installing Norton...dumb/dumb/dumb have been trying to fix this for 3+ hours...
  3. actually...thats not a bad idea...a Ford with a Honda engine...
  4. so now my WOE install went corrupt...it crashes at the 80% mission load screen...only changes were I installed the Israel 2 terrain, then deleted it...but it crashed before I deleted it. dont think it has anything to do with the terrain as other people use it with no problems any ideas?
  5. so I installed the Israel 2 terrain and switched the files per the read me...but it CTD during mission load...does it require desert.cat?
  6. snap! that is a nice set up
  7. and in Cheetah print...
  8. I had a USB/MP3 player and really liked it...it was like a lead weight...impossible to break and it went with me on 2 Marathons, plus all of the training leading to them, plus a deployment to the desert. Bought an iPod while in the desert to bring back to my wife...it didnt survive one day (overheated...but it was 128 that day, plus I was sitting with full armor on in the back of a C-130, so the temp was way more than that) That touchy-feely-wheel on the iPod is not durable enough for me, but it works great for her. By the way, i am NOT calling you a girl...
  9. russ, should have known you to be a fan... oh yeah, take a 4-ship of Eagles out with "Aces High" way too loud for the neighbors in the background
  10. err...there are more than 5-types of IFF...but you know that already...and dont forget that proper employment of M1/2 would be secret, though the system is not
  11. never flown an F-16...does it have the bitchin' betty?
  12. you may consider taking some sound files like from iL-2 and replacing them into your SFP1/WOE directory...you would have to change the file names and maybe a few other tweaks, but it should be do-able
  13. I saw a photo (maybe photo-shopped) of a "speed enforced by aircraft" and it was an Apache hunkered behind some trees
  14. modifying them to call out the position would be very useful, good idea...
  15. just a note...in this game its OK, but historically speaking an F-4 in a vertical fight was a one-legged kangaroo...a bad idea (or so my first boss in the USAF said...just some Viet Nam F-4 jockey)
  16. you mean one that acts like a missile with a man in it? thought so...
  17. is someone building it for that InSky plane coming soon?
  18. We had a BONE do a high speed low level pass at a Tyndall air show...best in show IMNSHO...especially how it felt like the silly thing was trying to rip the breath right out of our collective lungs. But I will never forget a Columbus air show when right after the T-clones, a C-5 made a "dirty" low approach...you know how people are always leaving early after the main event? That C-5 darkened the sky and people actually stopped and gaped...and some even ducked! Of course it was not THAT low, but a C-5 directly over bucket places a new perspective on things.
  19. Just took the Finback for a spin...very sweet!
  20. dont forget that in the "real world" the Boom Operator is there to talk you through it (yes, it is regularly done in EMCON x but that is after proficiency) its still difficult, but the monitor and the artificialities of this game make it extremely tough
  21. man, that really counter balances the entire 16 x F-16 to Pakistan debate, eh? See, we will gladly sell arms to you guys as well! And dont forget our new for 2011 F-35!
  22. I like it, big fan of this back in the FS2k2 world...am setting up a CVG in WOE today mostly so I can practice with the -22 on that. Thanks for the hard work, and looking forward to that cockpit update
  23. that is odd, what nations.ini are you using?
