From Antony Beevor's book Stalingrad, the Fateful Siege: 1942-1943: "The 22nd Panzer Division, as a reserve formation, had been starved of fuel, and during its long period of immobility, mice had sought shelter from the weather inside the hulls. They had gnawed through the insulation of electric cables and no replacements were immediately available." (p.231) The 22nd is the only unit mentioned in the book with that problem,

Just got around to trying this campaign, Good job! In order to solve the problem with the Mig-17F cockpit, remove the "MiG-17F.LOD" file and everything's back to normal. -

Oh let's see...Battlefield 1942 with the mods Desert Combat, Eve of Destruction and Forgotten Hope (the latter I sometimes play on the PixelFighter.com server). That's all I have installed at the moment, Rome Total War, SW Empire at War and both SW Battlefronts I had to uninstall to make way for all my TW installs. :P And I do play both versions of Left4Dead, but at a friends house since my old rig can't handle it.

Yes, it does the same thing in SFP1, however I tried it in both my WOE and WOI installs and did not have the problem. Must be something specific about SFP1 and WOV, but I don't know. -
BF1942 is the only EA title I still play thanks to the mods Forgotten Hope, Eve of Destruction, BF 1918, BG 42 and Desert Combat, not because of the vanilla version. After trying BF2 I gave up on the series, and EA. So I guess I'm not surprised either.

As far as the formations, there's no fix, although most of the 2-seaters I fly seem to do alright in that respect. For the tracers, try this effects pack by Starry: http://combatace.com/files/file/9786-first-eagles-effects-pack-update-1/ There's a tracer mod included. I can imagine if you don't have a lot of the planes already for the Armchair campaigns the set up can seen a bit overwhelming, but believe me, it's worth the effort. I may have to check out the SARCASM mod now. -
Yup, that's my 2-seater tactics in a nutshell, though when flying some of the slower ones you do come home with a lot of holes and get a dirty look from the airframe rigger.
