    - PWLCamo001

    - HANGARSCREEN 1024 x 768

    - LOADINGSCREEN 1024 x 768

*This skinis designed exclusively for the type of Mig-17F. This skin type is not suitablefor Mig-17, paintscheme not compatible, airbrakes of both types are placeddifferently in the schema. The skin is not suitable for the type series Mig-PF,is not part of the skin with a radar nose, the nose would remain in the metalcolor.

*This skinis designed and tested for version of WoE. This skin is compatible withversions of WOI, but in the Middle East this camouflage has never been used. Compatibilityof the skin with other versions of the game is not verified. This skin isonly for Europe. This camouflage was used by the Air Force of Poland. AircraftMig-17F produced and used in Poland were identified as the LIM-5.

*I made askin of aircraft worn and abraded. Aircraft in combat operations looksdifferent than the plane to air show...

I usedthe excellent original silver skin as a base for the Polish camouflage. I thankthe author of the silver skin for a great job.

    INSTALATION:

*You mustextract the folder Mig-17F(Lim5)_PWL_Camo. Folder PWLCamo001 save to afolder MiG-17F which is in the Aircraft folder in your game WoE.

    That'sit.

*You wantto have generated the skin in the game? Procedure: In TextureSet.ini file isthe text you copied into your file Mig-17F.ini (configuration settings). Fileconfiguration settings MiG-17F.ini is located in the MiG-17F aircraft folder inyour game. You need to copy it for your last TextureSet in the configurationsettings (Mig-17F.ini). Number set in your last update, the original shape isthis: [TextureSet000]. This TextureSet must be updated with your lastTextureSet in file TextureSet.ini. Whenyou finish this, if you choose this skin, before the flight you automaticallychange the marking on the Polish.

*Part ofthe package is hangarscreen and loadingscreen. If you want to install, here'show:

Mig_17F_LOADING.bmpand Mig-17FHANGAR.bmp copy to your folder MiG-17F. This text:

    LoadingScreen= Mig-17F_loading.bmp

    HangarScreen= Mig-17F_hangar.bmp

you mustcopy to a AircraftData which is in yourfile Mig-17F.ini. If you do, your new hangarscreen and loadingscreen will be using the aircraft MiG-17F.

*Thankyou for your interest in this skin. I wish you happy hunting ... ;)

  3. MiG-17PF camo skins (WOI)

Here are 3 camo skins for Spillone104's great MiG-17PF mod.
I used the same basic WOI stock skin for all of the skins because the mod allows only one skin to be used at a time (because of the new nose addition).
Luckily, Arab air-forces use similar camo patterns so it's not a big deal.

Included are an Egyptian, Iraqi and Syrian skins.

Drop the files in the right folders and it should work great (tested on WOI). Overwrite files if necessary.

    Have fun!!!

  9. Egyptian MiG-17F 1956

This is my addition to the MiG-17 family. It represents Egyptian MiG-17F used during the Suez crisis and later in the 50's.
The markings are the early all green Egyptian markings that were used from 1952 until 1958 with the forming of the UAR. The skin itself is the original TW skin.
Drop the skin in the aircraft folder, and the decals in the decals folder and have fun.

  10. Mig-17F El-Arish

In my WoI install i missed a Realistic skinned Egyptian Mig... here it is, for 1967 at least!
There are some other similar skins around but i made my own and i like it best... you have one more to choose!
Just drop it into your Wings over Israel/Objects/Aircraft/MiG-17F folder and scramble!
    Hope you'll like it.

Happy hunting (if you were so lucky as not to be Moked-ed!)

    P.S.
I can't figure out how it could damage your pc, anyway use it at your own risk! Hehehe!
It is free and not to be sold or used in any payware.

    Royal Khmer Aviation (RkhA) Mig-17F

In 1964-67 RkhA received seventeen Mig-17Fs from URSS.
With a little number of Mig-19s they formed the backbone of the RkhA.
There were some Mig-15bises and C.M. 170-1 Magister, too.
I have only seven historic serial numbers that included in the pack, but if you have the others I’ll update.

  19. MiG-17A & C flight models

These are flight dynamics (Flight Model, FM, etc.) files ONLY. They do not contain models, skins, cockpits, or any other files, other than the FM itself.

They were developed using Kreelin's AeroConvert, and data from the USAF's "Have Doughnut" tac evaluation, performed in 1969.

The FM's are somewhat of a compromise, in that, while they are tailored to both mimic the real aircraft's performance in turn rate, sustained G, landing and takeoff speeds,(etc.) as much as possible, they do not impose unreasonable limits on the aircraft under AI control.

In short, their stall behavior is somewhat benign, yet, they can enter an almost unrecoverable spin, if you insist on flying them in a ham-fisted manner.

The only issue I have with them, is one imposed upon me by time-constraints. And that is, I feel that they are about 25-30 knots too slow when flying just above sea-level, at full military power (not in afterburner).

  24. VPAF MiG-17F #3020

MiG-17F, #3020 Air Force of the Democratic Republic of Viet Nam, 923rd Fighter Regiment Yen The, late 1960ies.

this aircraft has become one of the most famous "green snakes" of the Vietnamese air force since it's public
display in the late 1960ies. it sports 8 kill marks, amassed by different pilots. #3020 was allegedly
flown by six-kill ace Le Hai when he shot down a F-4, 14. june 1968.

popular narratives connect this aircraft with a dog fight between US-Navy aces Cunningham / Driscoll and
the elusive "Col. Tomb" on 10.mai 1972. as of today there is no sign that this Vietnamese "super ace" ever
existed outside U.S.-circles, and there is no reason to believe that this aircraft was involved in this fight.
however, #3020 does not seem to have survived the war, since it is not displayed in Viet Nam which almost
certainly would have been the case if it still existed.
