    2. This is an update to the SF2 conversion of Florian's Mirage 2000D started by pablitoVPT and EricJ. This is a complete aircraft. Main reason for this update is a new flight model for hard setting with some minor updated avionics and weapons/loadout. Currently flying it in a merged install SF2E, DEC 2009. Your mileage may vary with other SF2 titles/installs. See the readme for details.

    3. so you were clamoring to fly planes with thrust vector.

so you are frustrated you cant have thrust vector control for pitch control..

now all you need is a joystick.

---New Tileset for Spanish Civil War

i've tried to create a more realistic tileset, for the Spain terrain, with more equal
colors between brown and greens, because the original showed a completely brown peninsula,
with no differences between the plateau and the cornice cantabric (by instance), which is
intensely green the whole year, i hope the pilots who know the country, recognize the field as most proper.
In any case Questions and critics are totally welcome as any suggestions and opinions.
    5. These are edited stock campaigns to suit the Updated SF2 Desert terrain that I recently released. While the original campaigns would work without much bother, they wouldn't give the benefits of all the additions I made to the 'Desert3' terrain. These include:

      * All US Navy campaigns being carrier based.
      * Players will now have the additional option of flying campaigns for the RAF.
      * The two extra Parani airfields in Desert3 are included in these campaign files. Enemy squadrons have been assigned to them.
      * The SF2 stock campaign files failed to give the player the benefits of having the option to fly in the new stock aircraft that are now available in SF2. These edited campaign files now include the Hawker Hunter, the F-4M/F-4M_75, the F-105D/D_66 Thunderchief, the A-7 Corsair (USAF/USN) and the Harrier GR.1/GR.3.

      INSTALLATION:

Just unzip the RAR file and move the contents of the 'CAMPAIGNS' folder to your SF2 game's 'Campaigns' folder. For those who might be concerned; these new campaign files WON'T overwrite your stock ones.

I'm not sure if the CVA-63 and SCB-125 stock carrier models were included with the stock SF2 groundobjects; but if they're not, simply copy those folders from your SF2V/Objects/GroundObject folder. If you don't have SF2V or if you've no wish to get SF2V, please let me know in this release's Support Topic and if there's enough demand for it I'll release these campaigns with land-based USN squadrons.

      Happy flying folks!

Tested on post 08 patch WOV.

New pylons will be on all your T-28D's once installed.

    7. CloudSkins Too:PaintedClouds - Mar 14, 2010 by ShrikeHawk

Here is another set of CloudSkins for your amusement. In this set, I used a different technique to create the clouds. This method gives me far more control over their look, because it allows me to actually "paint" in the details. Thus the "Painted" subtitle for this set. Additionally, I've played with larger images (768x768 instead of the usual 512x512). There is a slight framerate hit (2-8FPS) in using these clouds, but if your system can handle it, they're worth it. I have included three 512x512 images if you prefer the standard size.

      BONUS FILE

The idea of CloudSkins has been to only supply the images and let the users supply their own sky settings. In this set you can still do that. But this time I am supplying an environmentsystem.ini file that I use in all my installs.

This was primarily created by ASRAAM. He combined the features of Widesky, CloudScape, and the sky settings of NF4+. So I believe, but have not confirmed, this file will work in SF2 as well as SF1. Most of the work is ASRAAM's and he deserves a lot of credit for it. In turn, I have changed some of the cloud settings to suit my tastes. I have tested this out in WoV,WoE, and WoI. To use it, simply copy the environmentsystem.ini file into your Flight folder.

      SPECIAL BONUS FILE

I have added a folder named "CloudBurst." This contains a different environmentsystem.ini file with a trick I learned from Stick. It overloads the cloud counts and produces a striking cloudscape full of many cloud layers. I used this file to create the screenshot for CloudSkins Too. It uses a lot of framerates so it's preferred for more powerful systems. To use it, just copy the environmentsystem.ini file only (NOT the whole CloudBurst folder) and place it into your Flight folder.

      CREDITS
Much thanks go out to Stick and ASRAAM for technical support, and Piecemeal, suhsjake, NeverEnough, Haukka81, Dogzero1, Icarus999, and Dude27 for their enthusiasm and encouragement. Greatest thanks to TK for an awesome sim.

    8. For the Skunkworks T-28P file which can be found in their THIRD PARTY section. Place this skin in your T-28P folder with your Argentine T-28P's. The Brazillian Navy operated six converted T-28's off their carrier Mineas Gerais in the mid 1960's. These conversions were simular to the T-28P but designated the T-28R-1 Nomair.

Tested on post 08 patch WOV.

See the enclosed READ ME files for an interesting summary of this particular aircraft and its conroversy in Brazillian military history..

    9. Another skin for the Skunkworks T-28B which you will find in their Third Party section. THIS SKIN CONTAINS A SET OF NEW(and much improved) WEAPONS PYLONS for all your T-28B operations. Follow the READ ME file for installation.

VT-2 was another major USN training squadron which utilized the T-28B. The "Doerbirds" operated the Trojan from NAAS Whiting field throughout the late 60's and early 70's.

Tested on post 08 patch WOV.

New pylons will be on all your T-28B's once installed.
