  1. Eagle F.1 RAF Binbrook

McDonnell Douglas Eagle F.1 for STRIKE FIGHTERS 1
This is a simple mod of the stock F-15A Eagle to give a 'what if' Eagle F.1 interceptor fighter with markings for No.5 and No.11 squadrons of No.11 Group of the RAF as they might have appeared in the late 1970's.
This mod will only work with 'Wings Over Europe'. If you have 'Wings Over Israel' then it can be hacked into shape by a little bit of editing to point to the appropriate stock 'Baz' LOD's and files and also swapping the Skyflash missiles for Sparrows in the loadout.ini.

    INSTRUCTIONS
    1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the EagleF1 folder into your Aircraft folder.
    That's it!

  2. Supermarine Skylark F.1 (Super Mystère B2)

Supermarine Skylark F.1 for SF1 Wings Over Israel
This is a simple mod of the excellent Third Wire Dassault Super Mystère B2 to give a 'what if' Supermarine Skylark F.1 with markings for No.5, No.11, No.23 and No.29 squadrons of the Royal Air Force's Fighter Command during the late 1950's and early 1960's era.
It is essential that you have Wings Over Israel as this is the only 'Series One' game to have the Mystère IV LOD's.

    BACKSTORY

The adoption of the earlier Dassault Mystère IV (licence-built by Supermarine Aviation as the Siskin F.1) encouraged Dassault to offer the forthcoming Super Mystère to the UK Government to meet the RAF's requirement for a Venom replacement for overseas use. However, by mid-1955 the requirement had changed to that for a supersonic interceptor-fighter for RAF Fighter Command to supplement the Hunter F.6 and provide a lead-in to the Mach 2 English Electric Lightning.
By this time the Super Mystère prototype had flown (initially powered by a Rolls Royce Avon RA.7R) and the successful early flight-testing gave the RAF the confidence to quickly draft an official Operational Requirement based around a Super Mystère powered by the proposed Avon RA.21R and armed with 2 x 30mm ADEN cannon. Supermarine were selected to licence-build the Super Mystère at South Marston as the Supermarine Skylark F.1 for RAF Fighter Command and with an initial order for 120 aircraft and soon supplemented with an order for 45 Skylark FR.2's for RAF Germany (carrying centreline Vinten camera pods).
Whilst Dassault quickly moved on to the Mirage family of delta-winged fighters the Skylark was further developed by Supermarine as the FGA.3 fighter-bomber for the RAF and also exported to Finland, India and Saudi Arabia.

    INSTRUCTIONS
    1. Drop the SkylarkF1 folder into your Aircraft folder.
    That's it!

  3. Supermarine Siskin F.1 (Mystère IV - RAF)

Supermarine Siskin F.1 for SF1 Wings Over Israel
This is a simple mod of the excellent Third Wire Dassault Mystère IV to give a 'what if' Supermarine Siskin F.1 with markings for No.43, No.56 and No.63 squadrons of the Royal Air Force's Fighter Command during the mid-late 1950's era.
It is essential that you have Wings Over Israel as this is the only 'Series One' game to have the Mystère IV LOD's.

    BACKSTORY
The early-1950's was a difficult time for RAF Fighter Command. The obscolescent Meteor F.8 formed the mainstay of Fighter Command but it could barely catch the RAF's Canberra jet bombers and would have been hopelessly outclassed by MiG-15's if the Cold War had turned hot. But just at the time that Fighter Command should have been looking forward to receiving the modern swept-wing Hawker Hunter and Supermarine Swift fighters both programmes hit severe technical problems. especially the doomed Swift. Even before the decision to cancel the Swift fighter programme (taken in February 1955) the Air Ministry were looking for an 'off the shelf' purchase of an interim 'stop-gap' type and although the North American F-86 Sabre was procured in substantial numbers the desperately poor balance of payments situation with the US prevented further purchases.
Dassault had previously offered the Mystère IIC to the UK Government and had been turned down. But in November 1952 an RAF evaluation team were sent to Istres to evaluate the Mystère IV and submitted an enthusiastic report to the Air Ministry who decided to place an order for 200 Mystère IV's to be licence-built by Supermarine Aviation with Rolls Royce Tay engines. Entering service in March 1955 as the Siskin F.1 this fine aircraft was used by RAF Fighter Command until the early 1960's with the subsequent Siskin FGA.2 fighter-bomber serving in RAF Far East Air Force until 1970.

    INSTRUCTIONS
    1. Drop the SiskinF1 folder into your Aircraft folder.
    That's it!

  6. PZL 230-F Skorpion

    --------------------------------------------------
    PZL 230-F Skorpion Ver 1.0
    --------------------------------------------------

    By Leopardo

    Dated 20th April 2009

Thanks to Bongodriver and AleDucat for their models that I used to learn. Thanks to everybody who post their addons that I used to learn and create this aircraft.

The PZL 230-F Skorpion was a polish design, at the 90's, of a multifunction aircraft, specially ground attack. It was cancelled, but not before it was request co-operation to EADS-CASA in Spain to help in the design.

I have carried out the aircraft as it was produced and it was used at Poland, Spain and Germany inside de NATO.

For the time being it uses the cockpit fron the Eurofighter of Bongodriver until I create a cockpit. The FM only work in normal mode, the hard mode is at "TO DO" stage.

    -Installation instructions:

Just install the aircraft into your objects/aircraft folder.

Put the weapons folder in objects folder. If you have a weapons pack installed then that folder will already be there. In that case take the contents and put them in the weapons folder. The data you need to add is at the end of this file.

To use the squadrons fron Ejercito del Aire, you have to add the data at the end of this file.

You must have ACESSII seat from AleDucat y pilot from Eurofighter from Bongodriver.

    It should work in SF/WOE/WOV/WOI.

(Sorry for my english, I am not fluent in it)

    ---------------

  8. Northrop/Horten F-79C Manta

    Northrop/Horton F-79C "Manta" for SF/WoV/WoE and maybe WoI & SF2

    For Post-Patch (9/08 & 10/08) Installs ONLY

A "What If..." aircraft for the early Cold War....

This is a mod of Pasko's Ho-229 into a "What If" aircraft for the immeadate Post-War/Cold War period of 1948-1955.

This is a complete aircraft mod, containing everything needed to just unzip and fly. Some weapons and, of course, a new pilot figure will need installing, but that's a pretty simple matter.

The skin, created from new 1024x1024 templates, is based off the original WW2 Luftwaffe one, and has completly redrawn panel and rivet lines. All new decals representing a ficitonal USAF unit, 54th FIW, are included for 38 aircraft. These are the standard 'buzz numbers' and serial numbers as seen on USAF aircraft of the time period. Period style lighting has been added; running and ID lights, and a landing light. The cockpit, while based off the A-4B, has been extensively edited to make use of the new coding in post-08-patches for the "OpenCockpit", as has the data ini. This allows the external model's canopy frame to work for us. If attempting to use in a pre-patch install, you'll need to make all sorts of adjustments, and even I don't remember them all. Suffice it to say, it's built for post patch -- keep it that way.

A new "WoE-style" hangar screen has been created for this aircraft. Also included are an illustrated Word doc and a pdf with the "What If..." historical notes. Damage tgas are here as well, just in case you happen to get shot up....

This mod is designed for use with, I'm hoping, ANY weapons pak. You may just need to add a few things. If you've already added the weapons provided from another mod or weapons pak, you need not add them again.

= IMPORTANT: This aircraft has been tested in Post-Patch SF/WoV/WoE/WoI. Be advised of the existence of some handling issues prevelant in WW2 era and many Pre-Patch (ie: 06 level) aircraft. Fly accordingly!!! It should also work in SF2 and later iterations - this has NOT been tested, however.

As always, unzip this to a temp folder somwhere, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions.

    Good Hunting!

(this should actually go under "Cold War Aircraft", but there isn't a category for Fictional/What Ifs in there ... so, here it is)

  9. MiG-23PFM Fishtail-D

    MiG-23PFM Fishtail-D Beta
    *****************
    ----------------------------------------------------------
    I. History

This is a "What if" plane. It was not real, but could have been it if the E-8 development line would not have been canceled in 1962.
Imagine: A lot of MiG ingenieurs did not agree with Mikoyans decision to stop the E-8 program. They made a proposal to use proven elements of the E-8 and the MiG-21PF to start a new project called E-9. Mikoyan agreed and intended to use the E-9 as gap filler till his favored project E-11, the later swing wing MiG-23 Flogger, was ready. In autumn 1963 the E-9 was ready for flight tests. It was a combination of MiG-21PF engine, wings and avionics with a new fuselage, tail and canards. The E-9 was accepted by the soviet air force in spring 1964 and entered the production line in summer 1964 as MiG-23F.
In 1966 the Soviet Air Force demanded to equip the new fighter with state of the art avionics and to increase the range. So the MiG-23 Fishtail got a bigger fuselageback fueltank, a modified vertical tail, a mirror on the canopy. Other modifications are the more powerfull R-13 engine and the Saphir-21 Radar, but in the version RP-23. It is not widely known, that the Saphir 21 was originaly developed for the E-8. Only with a smaller antenna it could be fitted in the MiG-21 as RP-22. The smaller antenna reduced the detection range of this radar by 10 km. An other welcome addition of the PF is the ability to carry one gunpod under the left wing root.
In 1970 the last and most advanced version of the Fishtail was accepted by the Soviet Air Force. New features were the R-25 engine and the big backfueltank. The combat abilities were incresed by a now internal GSha-23 gun, double short range IR missile rails and chaff flare dispensers.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    II.
Known issues. It is still a beta. I know that the flight gear movement is not perfect. I know, that the skin is only a test shot, quick and dirty. etc.
I will try to make it better as fast as possible.

  10. RAF Phantom FGR Mk.3

RAF Phantom FGR Mk.3, for SF/WoV/WoE/WoI and probably SF2

This is a mod of TMFs Phantom FGR.2 into a "What If..." FGR.3 upgraded variant that might have been used by the Royal Air Force in the 1990s through the early 2000s. One can assume "difficulties and issues" with the Tornado ADV and GR variants, that forced the MoD and RAF to upgrade and keep them operational until either the Tornados were sorted out or the EF-2000 Typhoon came on line.

This is a semi-complete mod, as I've included everything EXCEPT the aircraft lod files. You =WILL= be needing the original FGR.2 to copy these critical files from. All other parts, inis, the HUD equipped cockpit from the F-4EJ-Kai mod, and some weapons are included. You can get the FGR.2 from the following sources:

    CombatAce:
    http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=1421

    C5:
http://www.column5.us/miragef.shtml (the FGR.Mk2 -NOT the one marked EARLY)

    CheckSix! (TMF Home Site)
    http://www.checksix-fr.com/

The aircraft data ini has been 'updated' with some of the newer data from post-patch Phantoms, but remains essentially the same. The FM has NOT been touched.
The original Spey engines have been swapped out for the more powerful P&W F100-PW-220s from the Eagle, and you will have a noticable, but not overwhelming, gain in power.
Loadouts have been adjusted for a more "British" feel, and make use of as many 'stock' 3rd Wire weapons as possible (wing and centerline fuel tanks, SUU-23 gun pod, dumb bombs). Other weapons have been included.
The original skins, hangar screen, and decals are included. 2 new "patch.bmps" were created by me, depicting the individual squadrons represented (92 & 111).

This mod is designed for use with, I'm hoping, ANY weapons pak. You will just need to add a few things, which I've included (borrowed from both TMF's weapons pak of 1/09 and the BunyPak of ?/06. If you're already using the TMF pak, you needn't bother to add the weapons I've supplied, excepting the 3pak rocket pod mount.

= IMPORTANT: This aircraft has been tested, and is designed for use in Post-Patch SF/WoV/WoE/WoI. It should also work in SF2 and later iterations - this has NOT been tested, however.

It is equipped in the fashion of that time: No gun, only AAM, unguided rockets and bombs. RP-21 radar und R-11 engine.

    II.
Known issues. It is still a beta. I know that the flight gear movement is not perfect. I know, that the skin is only a test shot, quick and dirty. etc.
I will try to make it better as fast as possible.

  13. OKB Hawker Falchion F.1 for SF/SFG/WoV/WoE/WoI

OKB Hawker Falchion F.1 (ie: MiG-15Bis) for SF/SFG/WoV/WoE/WoI (and maybe SF2, still, even)

A rebuild of Spinners really fun "What If" MiG-15 as used in an alternate universe by the British People's Republic Air Force, for use in the non-Vista enhanced Original Games (as listed above). Meaning, the inis are now in the older ANSI style, as opposed to Unicode.

ALL the inis have been completly rebuilt for use in these earlier games (SF/SFG/WoV/WoE/WoI). This is a complete aircraft mod, with everything included; all the inis, lods, a full cockpit (ordway's Mig-15 pit). The cockpit and data ini have been converted to metric measurements (KMPH, MPS, etc), so the UK is now metric some 40-odd years earlier than in our universe. The skins and decals are the ones created by Spinners, but each skin now gets a new 'patch.bmp' with the actual Real Life ™ RAF Squadron badges.

This mod is designed for use with, I'm hoping, ANY weapons pak, or none at all. The data ini has been set to use "NATO,UK", so you'll be using all the stock items, excepting the 300 gallon slipper tanks (included), which will need to be added. My old "PilotER" has also been included, just in case you want to switch over to one with a 'soft' leather helmet. Right now, it's set to use the stock 3rdWire pilot. The position of the pilot has been adjusted to show the seat more.
Spinners original Hangar and Loading screens are included, with a small edit by me on the loading screen. My damage tgas are included, as are probably some various bits and things I've forgotten to remove.

= IMPORTANT: This aircraft has been tested in Post-Patch SF/WoV/WoE/WoI. Be advised of the existence of some handling issues prevelant in WW2 era, and many Pre-Patch (ie: 06 level and earlier), aircraft. Fly accordingly!!! It should also work in SF2 and later iterations - this has NOT been tested with THIS version, however.

As always, unzip this to a temp folder somwhere, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions.
With special thanks to Spinners for creating it, and allowing me to re-convert it for the older games!!

    Happy Landings!!

  14. RAF Phantom FG.2 (No.38 Group)

McDonnell Douglas Phantom FG.2 for STRIKE FIGHTERS 1
This is a simple mod of the stock Phantom F-4B to give a 'what if' J79 powered Phantom FG.2 tactical fighter with markings for No.6, No.41 and No.54 squadrons of No.38 Group of RAF Strike Command as they might have appeared in the late 1960's but I've also included some two-colour B-type markings for you to play around with.
In theory, this should work in any 'first generation' game that has the standard F-4B LOD's. As SFG and WOV does not have the RAF Letter codes I've made some of my own in yellow and white and included them here to help avoid bare fins although there's plenty going on in fin land.

    BACKSTORY
The successful first flight of the McDonnell XF4H-1 (Phantom II) on May 27th, 1958 certainly piqued the interest of both the RAF and the Royal Navy and by 1959 both were granted official 'observer status' on the project. The realisation that only two of the Royal Navy's five aircraft carriers could operate an aircraft of the XF4H-1's size (and that only after extensive modernisation) soon cooled the interest of the Senior Service but the RAF could see a promising aircraft of obvious potential across many roles and not just in their search for a Hunter replacement. By 1960 McDonnell were scheming various tactical fighter versions of the F4H-1 Phantom II with J79 engines including a minimum change version of the baseline USN F-4B to replace the Hunter and Javelin in RAF service and supplement the Lightning.
The RAF had already bore the brunt of the 1957 Defence White Paper and had then suffered the ignominy of losing the UK's nuclear deterent in the planned switch from V-Force to Polaris. Following this heavy perceived loss of status the Air Staff were so determined to get the TSR.2 that in March 1961 they volunteered to forsake the supersonic V/STOL P.1154 strike fighter and STOL AW.681 tactical transport and replace both with off the shelf purchases of American aircraft. Both projects were declared as "too technically challenging to succeed in the current fiscal situation" but the early cashing-in of both projects did ultimately save the TSR.2 which went on to survive the 1964 Budget Review and enter RAF service at the end of the 1960's.
Meanwhile, back in August 1961 the UK Government became the first export customer for McDonnell's XF4H-1 with an order for 350 aircraft consisting of 150 interceptor-fighters for RAF Fighter Command and 200 tactical fighters for RAF Germany and No.38 Group. Designated by McDonnell as the F-4K and by the RAF as Phantom F.1 and Phantom FGA.2 the first F-4K rolled off the St. Louis production line in February 1963 with a ceremonial first flight on April 1st, 1963 to coincide with the RAF's 45th birthday celebrations. These early RAF Phantoms retained the AAA-4 infrared search and tracking sensor fitted to a prominent bulge underneath the radome housing the powerful AN/APQ-72 radar and were powered by two General Electric J79-GE-8A engines each rated at 10,000lbs dry thrust and 17,000 lbs thrust with afterburner.
The Phantom FG.2 entered service with No.41 squadron at Coningsby in January 1966 and eventually equipped no less than ten RAF squadrons at home and abroad.

    INSTRUCTIONS
    1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the PhantomFG2 folder into your Aircraft folder.
    2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the PhantomFG2 into your Decals folder.

  18. F-4E Terminator (Alternative)

This is the almost-finished 2020 Terminator that was left in my HD for more than a month.I was stuck in making the right skin (I admit I am not good at it)and it was left unreleased. Now I want to offer it to you the way it is, because if not now it doesn't make any sense later.I use the seytan skin from EVRO, sounds from SPILLONE and the avionics are using elements from the F-4ES mod of ULTRAMAX.

Please have latest weapon packs installed.

I have in my HD a few more projects, that is a

    - Lightning F.2A
    - An updated F7U
    - A Kurnass 2000
    - various MiG-21s and J-7s
    - F/A-18 upgrades

I am going to release them soon, unfinished or not doesn't matter, 'cause I feel is better to just release them and let someone else improve them.If someone else is working on such projects, please let me know, and I would gladly give you my work before release, as long as I am mentioned.

  22. A-4T Skyhawk

    A-4T for WOE

The A-4T Skyhawk was the proposed French version of the Skyhawk as then used in many countries. In the early 70's, France needed to replace its Etendard IV and therefore studied three proposals:

    - The A-4 Skyhawk
    - The A-7 Corsair II
    - The Jaguar M

All three projects were abandoned, either for not being performant enough (Jaguar), either because of foreign origin. A fighter derived from the Etendard was then developped and adopted; the Super Etendard.

    More infos : http://frenchnavy.free.fr/projects/skyhawk/skyhawk.htm

One of the original project concerned the A-4M, as none is available under WoE, I found a workaround with the A-4F.

This add-on shows off what could have become the A-4T of the French Navy, with skins covering three units : 11F, 14F and 17F.

  25. F15A Cheats Weapon Load MOD 0.9beta for WoI

F15A Cheats Weapon Load MOD 0.93beta for WoI

    ----Released date;
    0.93 beta version----17/08/2008 ; AfterbunerEffectSize and CenterlineStation-1 adjusted.
-Please simply overwrite only "F-15A_BAZ_DATA.INI" to the installed two aircraft folders, if u using this.
    * CenterlineStation-1's attachment position has been adjusted for bombs.
    * AfterbunerEffectSize=1.5 to 1.2 decreased in this .INI.
    0.92 beta version----16/08/2008 ; "Install & Uninstall" in readme.txt adjusted.
    0.91 beta version----15/08/2008 ; First released.

This is pre-beta code, meaning it might be in no way feature complete
and some bugs, please use this mod "at your own risk".
    Enjoy

    ----Specifications;
    * This MOD would change only for;
weapon choice, weapon's mass, F15A's looks of afterburner effect,
each weapon's station set, F15A and weapon's start year and nation name,
availability and quantity, explosives size of a few dumb bombs,
max amount of Fuel, Gun and Chaff & Flares.
F15A's avionics has been changed for using AGM-65s and adding TVC.

Other settings have not been changed for the original default settings.
i.e., flight model, thrust power, other avionics, RWR, cockpit, skin,
max armor, ECM, and so on.

Now, u might get a lot of medals and high score "in all 3-campaigns" with F15A,
if u could use this weapon's cheats in single mode.

Although, please do NOT use this in multi-play mode.
Maybe this mod not work in multi-mode, and I'd not like to and won't test this in multi, also.

    ----Attention;
    * WoI (CoI) already tested with 04/2008 patched version.
This mod is not compatible in the WoE and other sims.

    * To use this cheated F-15A for all 3-campaigns,
this Mod would alternate both aircrafts "Shahak","KfirC2" to "F-15A(cheated)".
So, u couldn't use these two aircraft when u use this mod, sorry.

    * To use this mod, u have to download another real-style F-15E mod.

    "F-15E Strike Eagle Version 1.3"
    http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=6258
So, u could download this mod file as "F_15EV13.rar".

    * This mod won't work, if u are using other "Weapon-Pack" mod.
Because, this mod are using own-modified "weapondata.DAT". So,
please backup "weapondata.DAT","weapondata.INI" before u install this, if already exist.

    ----About This Mod;
    * F15A's weapon load has been modified.
    Now, you could choose; "24x 750-lb Bomb","6x 6x AGM-65B",
    "7x AIM-7F","7x Phyton3","1x Tank610_F15" from the beginning
all 3 campaigns in the WoI.

    * F15A's fuel and gun amount, decoys has been increased.

    * F15A's afterburner effect has been edited.
And F15A's avionics.INI has been edited to get using AGM-65A/B.

This effect and avionics setting are referenced from F_15EV1.3 mod by
    Dave, Deuces, Moonjumper and others.
    "F-15E Strike Eagle Version 1.3".
    http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=6258

Some of avionics mod files (HUD.tga.bmp files) have been used to this my mod.
(Because, there are a lot of files to their HUD files. So, I picked up
necessary files from them for this mod Install to prevent the hard file works.)

I'd like to thank very much for them.

...Other (How to Install, UnInstall, Known problems...), please read a readme file.
    Have fun!!
