  1. 1962 the germans at Red Thunder

    This campaign is made for a tutorial with the title:
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    What i must do to to bring a new Air Force in a stock campaign?
    ===========================================
    Lets say i want to mod the WOE stock campaign Red Thunder 1962 and want to include the westgerman and the east german airforces.
    First we need the files
    woeCamp1.ini
    and
    WOECAMP1_DATA.ini
    both files you find in the folder Campaigns/woeCamp1
    if not, then you must extract them with an extraction tool like SFP1E extractor
    Make following steps:
    1.) open files woeCamp1.ini with windows notepad editor
    2.) look for the lines
    [CampaignData]
    CampaignName=1962
    DataFile=1962_data.ini
    CampaignMap=GermanyCE
    Service001=USAF
    Service002=RAF
    Service003=France
    3.) add now
    Service004=EGermany
    Service005=WGermany
    4.) save the file.
    Now we have included the Luftwaffe and the LSK/LV as new airforces which can deploy units in the campaign.
    Our next step is to bring 2 east german and 3 west german units in the campaign. The east germans we place at Holzdorf AB and Peenemünde while the west germans we place at Wittmundhafen, Neuburg and Büchel.
    5.) open file WOECAMP1_DATA.ini with notepad editor
    scroll to the last airunit entry which is
    [AirUnit078]
    AircraftType=IL-28
    UnitName=305 BFAP
    ForceID=2
    Nation=SOVIET
    StartDate=11/15/1962
    DefaultTexture=SovietSilver1
    BaseArea=Parchim Airbase
    ......................
    6.) after this entry we will place the 2 east german units
    8.) save the file.
    BE CAREFULL: you must place the units at existing airfields. Which AB are existant you find in the GermanyCE_targets.ini.
    Make sure that the names of the baseses are the same in Targets.ini and campaign_data.ini.
    For instance if you write
    BaseArea=Wittmundhaven Airbase
    instead
    BaseArea=Wittmundhafen Airbase
    the unit will not exist in game.
    After this we must include the new created air units into the woeCamp1.ini file, if we want to fly the birds of this units. If not, then we have nothing to do anymore. But i want to fly the MiG's for the LSK and the Starfighters for the Luftwaffe, so we continue:
    9.) open file woeCamp1.ini
    10.) scroll to the end and include following lines:
    //LSK units
    [EGermanyUnit001]
    UnitName=JG-8
    ForceID=2
    UnitID=34
    StartDate=1962
    DescFile=woe1Start.txt
    StartText=woe1Start1.txt
    AircraftType=MiG-17F
    [EGermanyUnit002]
    UnitName=JG-2
    ForceID=2
    UnitID=35
    StartDate=1962
    DescFile=woe1Start.txt
    StartText=woe1Start1.txt
    AircraftType=MiG-21F
    //Bundesluftwaffe units
    [WGermanyUnit001]
    UnitName=JG 71
    ForceID=1
    UnitID=46
    StartDate=1962
    DescFile=woe1Start.txt
    StartText=woe1Start1.txt
    AircraftType=F-104G
    [WGermanyUnit002]
    UnitName=JG 74
    ForceID=1
    UnitID=47
    StartDate=1962
    DescFile=woe1Start.txt
    StartText=woe1Start1.txt
    AircraftType=F-104G
    [WGermanyUnit003]
    UnitName=JBG 33
    ForceID=1
    UnitID=48
    StartDate=1962
    DescFile=woe1Start.txt
    StartText=woe1Start1.txt
    AircraftType=F-104G
    The most problematic part is the UnitID= number
    you must count which number the single unit has. For the blue side and for the red side.
    For instance, the JG-71 is the 46th blue unit. To get this number is relativly simple. You must look in the WOECAMP_DATA.ini and look for the last "blue" air unit. If you look right it is the 42nd TRS which has in the campaign the air unit number 045 [AirUnit045].
    Thatywhy the next blue air unit has the UnitID=46, then comes 47 and so on.
    With the red air units it is a little bit mor difficult, because the first red air unit has in the data.ini the number [AirUnit046]. But in the woecamp.ini it is not designated as UnitID=46, because it is the first "red" air unit and thatswhy would get the designation UnitID=1 (only if the unit would be flyable)
    To get the correct UnitID= number of the 2 east german units we must count all red air units. If you do it you will see that we have in the stock campaign 33 soviet (red) air units. Thatswhy the first east german unit get the number UnitID=34 and the other UnitID=35
    11.) Save the file.
    12.) Finally comes the testing of the campaign.
    Thats it.
  8. Attrition War 67-73 VERSION 1.1
    *Version 1.1*
    This update lowers the intensity level from Version 1.0. Only enemy squadrons located nearest the border will be assigned missions. Supply has also been reduced for friendly and enemy squadrons. As a result, fewer enemy aircraft should appear in the air, better reflecting the limited nature of the historical conflict. Make no mistake, occasionally the campaign engine will generate large aerial engagements; this is historical, as well.
    Some base assignments have also been altered to better reflect historical positioning. In particular, IAF 101 Squadron has been moved to Bir Gafgafa on the Sinai Peninsula. The IAF maintained a Mirage detachment there throughout the Attrition War period; expect plenty of action along the Suez Canal.
    *The Campaign*
    This campaign depicts the situation in the Middle East as it stood between June 1967 and October 1973. Based on the stock WOI Yom Kippur campaign, it begins in July 1967 and ends in September 1973. When combined with “War for the Water” and “Golan Stalemate,” the player can begin in 1963 and fly a continuous nineteen-year IAF career.
    There will be no all-out air offensive; this is a long, limited conflict. Ground offensive has been disabled, so borders remain static. Supply is minimal, restricting the number of aircraft in the sky. Mission mix includes routine patrols punctuated by occasional strike missions into enemy territory. You may fly a maximum of fifty missions, roughly one every forty-five days.
    IAF fighter and strike squadrons start out with their historical aircraft, entering the campaign at the time they were activated. Some squadrons will upgrade both their livery and their aircraft type during the course of the campaign.
    The Soviets also make appearances in 1970 and 1971.
  9. Aussie Carrier Campaign for WoV
    The best way to enjoy Wings Over Vietnam and Strike fighters, IMHO, is via a carrier campaign. The only available carrier campaigns are for US Navy carriers - until now!
    This mod will allow you to fly the stock WoV Linebacker II Campaign off the deck of the Royal Australian Navy aircraft carrier HMAS Melbourne. The Melbourne deployed to Vietnam three times over the course of the war, but did not take part in offensive air operations - you now have the opportunity to change that.
    Enclosed are all the files you need to fly the Campaign.
    NOTE: This mod has NOT been tested with the latest version of WoV.
    Thanks to Hinchinbrooke and capun for objects and data for this mod.
    Cheers Guys!
Please see the credits below.
    Thanks also to everyone who has posted feedback on this campaign, and to everyone who has entered into the spirit of things by contributing mods of their own.
    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
    1. Install SFP1/WoV/WoE
    (For WoV & WoE follow Wrench's instructions to create an era-specific install - see KB at combatace)
    2. Patch up to v 083006
    3. Delete all stock aircraft
    4. Install the DAT aircraft listed above
    5. Install Wrench's WW2 wep pak.
    6. Install Gepard's BoB terrain v1.4. For detailed instructions on how to do this, see the readme file for the terrain.
    7. Copy the Battle of Britain campaign mod files to the relevant folder of your new install. The simplest thing is to retain the file structure and copy the unpacked files over. Items in the Campaigns, Flight, Menu, Missions, Objects and Objects/Aircraft, PilotData, Sounds and Terrain folders go into those same folders in your new install. The options.ini file goes into your main Strike Fighters folder. When asked to overwrite existing files, say "Yes" each time. YOU DID BACK UP THOSE FILES LISTED ABOVE, DIDN'T YOU?
    8. Copy the file Hurricane-R10D.LOD from the Hurricane1 folder into the Hurricane2A folder.
    9. Copy all the Spitfire .LOD files from the Spitfire1A folder into the Spitfire2A folder.
    10. That's it. Battle of Britain should now be available at the campaign menu. Happy hunting!
    ********************************************************************************************
    KNOWN ISSUES:-
    1. Finally sorted out the "random movement of air units" bug. That was the main problem which meant this campaign was a beta release. You should now see a lot more air activity on both sides.
    2. Victory conditions.
    "Winning" a campaign depends on your Force capturing the enemy Base node. So the best the RAF can hope for is a lose or a stall. No invasion of Fortress Europe in 1940! As for the Luftwaffe, well. . .
    3. The RAF fly a lot of intercept missions, and they're hard. Good luck! Use high energy boom and zoom attacks, or frontal attacks for best results. Try to keep your wingies alive. Remember this is a war of attrition, so kills matter. Ignore Bitchin' Betty when she tells you to RTB, mission failed. Finish off those bombers!
    As an extra hint, the campaign engine does not fix intercept waypoints very efficiently. If you rely on them, you will not intercept bomber formations until they are on top of their target - by which time it's too late. Use planning map to move your waypoints to show the most direct route between waypoint 2 and your objective point. Then use Red Crown to give you the best vector to your target. Intercept those bombers while they are still out there!
    4. In order to make the phased campaign work properly, I have brought forward the front-line operational dates of certain squadrons (303, 310, 603 and 1 RCAF) to the start of July 1940. This is clearly non-historical. However, having later start dates meant that the timings of the phased campaign were thrown out of kilter, so I chose this as the lesser of two evils.
    Credits:-
    Thanks to Gepard, the A-team, RussoUK2004, Kesselbrut, allenjb42, Pasko, Bunyap, Charles, Kout, Cellinsky, swayne64, pcpilot, CA_Stary, B Bandy RFC, George (Geo) and, of course TK and Thirdwire.
    Let me also express my grateful thanks to those Devs and modders listed above who have granted permission to allow their work to be included in this package. That makes installation a whole lot easier! And, of course, without their work, this campaign would, quite simply, not exist. Thanks to all!
    If I have missed anyone out please let me know and I will add your name, with my apologies.
    Orders of Battle and Unit strengths are taken from the appendices to "The Most Dangerous Enemy - A History of the Battle of Britain" by Stephen Bungay, ISBN 1-85410-801-8. Thoroughly recommended for those with an interest in the Battle of Britain.
    You are not permitted to re-distribute any of the 3rd-party files included in this package without the prior written consent of the owner of the file concerned.
    Modding of the campaign files written by baltika for the free use of the community is, however, actively encouraged. Share your results. But if anyone is planning a payware BOB conversion, don't you dare use any of the campaign files in this mod for your bloodsucking financial gain, unless you make me a decent offer first ;-)
  12. Battle of Guadalcanal (fiction)
    With new WWII maps coming to play, I decided to make a WWII campaign.
    Unlike any WWII campaign, I took the liberty to add modern warbirds into the fray just for the fun of it.
    The creation of this campaign was influence by the movie The Final Countdown.
    The campaign is mostly an air war due to my limited knowledge on how strategic nodes work. So if anyone want to assist me in this (recommendations and so forth), I'd be greatful.
    The campaign currently only allow you to fly the F4F-4 and the F-14D because I have yet to add carriers in the campaign.
    Future plans may include adding carriers to the fray which add more US aircraft into the mix as well as the Japanese.
    A Campaign Mod for SFP1/WoV/WoE
    by Baltika
    **********************************************
    On 7 December 1941, Imperial Japan launched a combined full-scale assault on the Dutch East Indies, the Philippines and the Malay Peninsula. The US Fleet was attacked and decimated at Pearl Harbor. Allied defence strategy was predicated on Japan attacking only a single Allied power, with the others sending military assistance in the event of an assault. The Japanese grand strategy left the Allies reeling, falling back on every front under the strength and ferocity of the Japanese attack.
    Lt. Gen. Masaharu Homma, commander of the Japanese 14th Army, was tasked with the invasion of the Philippines. Vice Admiral Ibo Takahashi commanded the IJN 3rd Fleet, Philippines Force, for the amphibious assault. Air Support was provided by the IJAAF 5th Air Group under Lt. Gen. Hideyoshi Obata, and the IJNAF 11th Air Fleet under Vice Admiral Nishizo Tsukahara.
    Gen. Douglas MacArthur commanded the combined US and Philippino defensive force, organised into the US Army Forces in the Far East.
    Maj. Gen. Lewis H. Brereton commanded the Far East Air Force, consisting of P-40 Warhawk, B-17 bomber and P-35 Guardsman squadrons. The Philippino Air Force fielded a squadron of valiant but outclassed P-26A "Peashooters."
    The Battle of the Philippines lasted until the final surrender of the garrison on 8 May 1942. The survivors suffered brutal treatment in captivity. Thousands died on the "Bataan Death March" or working in slave labour camps.
    The Philippines were finally liberated in 1945. But that is another story. . .
NB Edward's terrain IS NOT included in this mod, you will have to get it from avsim. There are detailed instructions on how to create a "Philippines 1941" terrain which will sit alongside Edward's 1945 original so you can fly both. Please see below.
    For v1.1 I have included updated .HFD and .TFD files only, which flatten and tile the additional airbases featured. Thanks to Edward for creating his many excellent WW2 terrains for SFP1. S!
    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
    It is recommended that you install this campaign to a dedicated PTO install of SFP1/WoV/WoE. You don't need a separate install just for this campaign, it will sit happily in an existing PTO install. Just be careful about over-writing any of your modded files. The most obvious one is the SquadronList.ini. Unzip the d/l package to a temp file and check its contents before installation. If unsure, BACK UP YOUR MODS FIRST!!!!!!!!!
    If you have already installed v1.0 of this campaign, simply unzip the files to a temp folder, and then copy them over to your existing install, overwriting when requested to do so. Make sure you don't have any "nested" folders when copying over.
    If you are starting from scratch, here's the drill:
    1. Install Strike Fighters Project One
    2. Patch up to v 083006
    3. Install Bunyap's weapons pack (Required for WW2 weapons)
    4. Delete all stock aircraft
    5. Install the aircraft, ground objects and terrain listed above
    6. Install Charles' WW2 formations mod
    7. Install the PAW1 Campaign Mod files to the relevant folder of your new install. The simplest thing is to retain the file structure and copy the unpacked files over. It should be obvious where everything has to go. Overwrite when requested to do so. You may want to backup your original SQUADRONLIST.INI. Or, just cut and paste the squadrons from the included list to the end of your current one, renumbering where the last one leaves off.
    8. VERY IMPORTANT! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
    9. Browse to your /Terrain folder. You will see folders called "Phillipines" [sic] and "Philippines1941" - inside the Philippines1941 folder is just a bunch of .ini files, some new planning maps and 1941 static P-40E skins, credit to Wrench. Open the "Phillipines" folder, and copy and paste its entire contents into your "Philippines1941" folder, EXCEPT the following files:-
    P40E1.BMP
    P40E1Dest.BMP
    P40E2.BMP
    PlanningMap1.bmp
    PlanningMap2.bmp
    PlanningMap3.bmp
    Phillipines.INI
    Phillipines_briefing.INI
    Phillipines_DATA.INI
    Phillipines_dogfight.INI
    Phillipines_movement.INI
    Phillipines_nations.INI
    Phillipines_targets.INI
    Phillipines_types.INI
    Phillipines.HFD
    Phillipines.TFD
    You will see that the 1941 terrain folder already contains the necessary .ini files. I have also resized Wrench's P-40E OD skin to be used for the parked P-40s. Otherwise you will get the wrong type of P40 for 1941 parked on your runways. I have also included new planning maps for the 1941 version of the Philippines terrain.
    11. IF YOU DO NOT CARRY OUT THE ABOVE STEPS YOU WILL GET A CTD WHEN YOU TRY TO FLY THE CAMPAIGN ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
    12. If you are running WoV/WoE, you will need to change the catfile pointer in the terrain.ini to get it to work properly. Any problems, give me a shout.
    That's it. "Battle of the Philippines" should now be available at the campaign selection screen.
    ****************************************************************************************************
    KNOWN ISSUES:-
    ************
    1. Flying the Val off the IJN Ryujo, you will probably blow up on the deck. I think it has to do with the positioning of the catapults and the size of the plane, but I don't know how to fix it. The Zero works just fine. So, if you really want to fly a whole campaign in the Val, select start mission "In Air" or "Near Target." Downloading the updated Val available at Combatace may fix this.
    2. On the subject of the Ryujo, I know the model used is the IJN Akagi. There are quite a few placeholders for unit types etc, but these are marked in the main campaign_data.ini if you are interested. You can easily swap the Akagi for Hinchinbrooke's IJN Zuiho, which is closer to the light carrier model. Install the Zuiho, and change the CarrierType= Flag in the Carrier Units section of the campaign_data.ini to read CarrierType=Zuiho. I got random CTDs after doing this, but it may be something in my install.
    3. The north end of Luzon is behind the 50k "Wall" at the edge of the map. For this reason, Japanese ground forces have already landed at the start of the campaign, and you may bump into the wall in the early days.
    4. The ALT+N function often makes you crash into the mountains in central Luzon, particularly flying a Zero campaign. To avoid this, make good use of your planning map to move your waypoints to ensure your flight path is over low ground where possible. Otherwise, fly the whole mission from the deck and back. Yes, you heard me, pilot ;-)
    5. There are a lot more Japanese planes available which are not flyable in campaign. This is because the bulk of the Japanese forces start on "off-map" bases on Formosa. Thanks to Stwa for that particular trick, cheers, mate ;-) Maybe in chapter two you can fly a Tony or whatever ;-)
    6. I have now much more thoroughly playtested the ground war, and it should run properly. It is quite carefully scripted to achieve a historical outcome. However, a few odd things may still happen in the campaign. Please report any strangeness to me at combatace, cheers ;-)
    7. If you don't like the red text for start/end campaign screens, browse to your SFP1/Menu folder and delete the OVERLAYTEXTSETTING.INI file to go back to the stock text colour.
  17. Burning Sands 1944 v1.0
    Burning Sands 1944 v1.0
    A fictional WW2 Campaign for Strike Fighters Project One
    by baltika
    *****************************************************************************************************************************
    This is a mod of the stock Burning Sands campaign to take advantage of the many excellent WW2 MTO planes and skins which have been produced by individuals more talented than me. It is entirely fictional.
    Please note that this download includes the campaign files only. 3rd party planes, skins and ground objects, and a couple of other essential mods, will require separate download. Full list below. But let's face it, if you're reading this you've already got them all anyway. Hell, you've probably got a dedicated MTO install you can drop this right into.
    My thanks to all devs and modders whose work has inspired this campaign. See Credits.
    *****************************************************************************************************************************
    CAMPAIGN CONTENT:
    FLYABLE SQUADRONS:-
    RAF
    213 Sqdn RAF - Hurricane 2C
    601 Sqdn RAF - Spitfire 5BL
    252 Sqdn RAF - Beaufighter Mk1
    274 Sqdn RAF - Hurricane 2D
    145 Sqdn RAF - Spitfire 8C
    114 Sqdn RAF - Boston
    RAAF
    3 Sqdn RAAF - Curtiss P-40E (Kittyhawk)
    Luftwaffe
    I./JG26 Bf-109E (Emil)
    V./JG77 Bf-109G10
    I./ZG26 Bf-110E (Zerstorer)
    I./JG52 Fw190
    I./JG77 Me-262A (Schwalbe)
    II./KG26 He-111H6
    I./SchG2 Hs129B3
    I./StG2 Ju 87B (Stuka)
    I./JG300 FW-190A-8/R2 (Wurger)
    DESERT TERRAIN CHANGES:-
    -No more concrete runways. All airfields replaced with the desert airstrip, for a more WW2 look.
    -Desert airstrip re-classified as MEDIUM_RUNWAY to allow some of the bigger birds to take off.
    -Sam sites, radars, trucks and so on replaced with WW2 equivalents. But ground object placement is a frustrating and time-consuming business so more work is required here. For now, all AAA sites are active in 1944, and most of the airstrips will have a few WW2 vehicles around, including mobile AA units which will fire at you if you get low enough. You have been warned!
    USER INTERFACE:-
    -Squadron specific intro, victory and defeat screens to add atmosphere.
    Please see Credits section for a full list of the modders whose work is featured in these screenshots. Thanks to everyone involved. If your name has been omitted, it is in error and I apologise. Please contact me and I will rectify the situation.
    *****************************************************************************************************************************
    * * * HEALTH WARNING * * *
    INSTALLATION OF THIS MOD WILL OVERWRITE THE FOLLOWING FILES, WHICH WILL BREAK THE STOCK BURNING SANDS CAMPAIGN AND ANY OTHER MODS WHICH RELY ON THESE FILES. BACKUP THESE FILES BEFORE INSTALLATION SO YOU CAN RESTORE THEM IF NECESSARY.
    Strike Fighters/PilotData/SquadronList.ini
    Strike Fighters/Terrain/Desert/DESERT_NATIONS.INI
    Strike Fighters/Terrain/Desert/DESERT_TARGETS.INI
    Strike Fighters/Terrain/Desert/DESERT_TYPES.INI
    AGAIN, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! BACKUP THOSE FILES!
    Or, make a fresh install to run this campaign. Having a dedicated MTO install will probably make life easier. If you have that, you're not going to use it to run stock Burning Sands anyway.
    Those of you who know what you are doing can copy my squadron list on to the end of the existing squadron list, if you already have a modded SquadronList.ini. You will have to renumber the squadrons.
    I have simply added more (WW2) target types onto the end of those listed in DESERT_TYPES.INI, so that shouldn't cause any problem at all.
    2. Patch up to v 083006
    3. Install the latest weapons pack.
    4. Delete all stock aircraft
For the AA units from the BoB terrain, simply copy their folders from the SFP1/Objects/Groundobject folder to the the same folder of your new install.
    6. Install Charles' WW2 formations mod.
    7. Copy the Burning Sands 1944 mod files to the relevant folder of your new install. The simplest thing is to retain the file structure and copy the unpacked files over. Items in the Campaigns, Menu, Objects, PilotData and Terrain folders go into those same folders in your new install. When asked to overwrite existing files, say "Yes" each time. YOU DID BACK UP THOSE FILES LISTED ABOVE, DIDN'T YOU?
    8. That's it. Burning Sands 1944 should now be available at the campaign menu. Happy hunting!
    *****************************************************************************************************************************
    KNOWN ISSUES
    1. Some of the third party planes use the "_" character in the name of their install folder when unzipped, e.g. Bf_110E, He_111H6, Me_262A, P_40E. For some reason, my set up refuses to recognise those planes as installed when that character is present. I have all those planes installed in the following format: Strike Fighters/Objects/Aircraft/Bf-110E, Strike Fighters/Objects/Aircraft/He-111H6 and so on (Me-262A, P-40E). I have used that format in the BS1944_data.ini file, so if you find that the campaign does not allow you to select those planes, check that you have installed those planes with the same naming format. If they are different, either change each air unit entry in the BS1944_data.ini file to match the install folder for each plane, or change the name of the plane's install folder to the format used in the BS1944_data.ini file.
    2. WOLF257's planes are not currently available for download. If you don't have them, use the alternative BS1944_data.ini file provided.
    3. Skins. I have used the "DefaultTexture=" flag for each unit (in the BS1944_data.ini file) to try to ensure all planes use the appropriate MTO skin. Sometimes planes still show up in ETO skins. I have no idea why. If you are having skin problems, check that the "DefaultTexture=" for each squadron specifies the skin folder in the aircraft folder correctly. Or you could create a specific MTO install where the only skin in each plane's folder is an MTO skin - hint, hint. Otherwise, answers on a postcard to. . .
    4. Loadouts. If you are having trouble saddling up with the appropriate tank-busting gear or whatever, check that the "AttachmentType=" flag in the Weapon Stations section of the appropriate aircraft_DATA.ini file is specified properly. Bunyap's site has updated DATA.ini files for many aircraft so they work with the latest weapons pack. Or just set it like this, "AttachmentType=UK,USAF,USN" (without the quotes) for the Allies and all will be well. Purists run screaming for the hills at this point. For Luftwaffe the setting is "AttachmentType=Nazi Germany" On the subject of loadouts, if (like me) you want to fly CAS campaign missions in the Hurri 2C (and what else would you do with a wingful of rockets?), go to the Strike Fighters/Objects/Aircraft/Hurricane2C/Hurricane2C_DATA.ini file, and add CAS to the "PrimaryRoles=" flag under [MissionData] near the top of the file. My apologies to the A-team. My excuse is that this is a fictional campaign.
    5. I know that the RAAF squadron has to be selected from the RAF list. My apologies to our Australian cousins. Apparently the current build of the campaign engine has trouble with the ground war if more than two forces are defined. Take solace in the fact that the Poms can't cope without you.
    6. If you have any other problems, questions, suggestions or constructive criticism, I can be contacted at Combatace, SimHQ, column5.us and the Thirdwire forums. I can't promise to solve your issue, but talking helps.
    7. Now, if only someone would make an MTO skin for the Hawker Typhoon. . . ;-)
    Cheers,
    baltika
    CREDITS
    This campaign is my way of saying thanks to all the modders who have created so many great WW2 planes to enhance the community's enjoyment of this great series of sims. Without all their hard work in producing a wealth of additional planes, skins, ground objects, terrains, weather mods, and all the rest, this mod would, quite simply, not exist. My thanks to all concerned, and indeed the wider SFP1/WOV/WOE/FE community in general who have provided so much information about how this whole bag of nuts and bolts works.
    And, of course, thanks to TK and Thirdwire for creating SFP1/WOV/WOE/FE in the first place.
    I have included a number of screenshots which feature the work of various devs and modders, and I would like to thank them for their contribution:-
    The SFP1 Dev A-team (Capun, Gramps, Charles, Kesselbrut and The Wrench) - Planes and skins too numerous to mention. 12 out of the 16 aircraft featured in this campaign.
    The Wrench (Kevin Stein) - Skins (see full list above) & inspiration. Kevin kicked this off with his Cold War Gone Hot: 1946 suggestion.
    Pasko - Stuka Ju 87B (Skins by Gramps)
    Polak - WW2 Ground objects, Sky mod
    WOLF257 - Bf-109G10 and Fw190
    Deuces - weapons, effects
    Kesselbrut/Geo - WW2 Ground objects
    Cellinsky - Weather Mod
    Thanks to everyone. If your work is featured and I have not credited you, please accept my apology. Let me know & I will add you to the list.
    Happy Hunting,
    baltika
    This campaign is distributed as freeware. Feel free to mod it to your heart's content, so long as you give credit where it's due. You are not permitted to attempt to make any money out of it.     -Planning map is also included, so if you want to edit it to your reference, this map can help greatly.
    -Campaign description is not edited (Focusing more on the gameplay instead of the Backstory)
    -Some planes like the F-14D and F/A-18C are just renames of the F-14A and F/A-18A (It just sounds better)
    -Because of such renaming, be ready to do some manual modding
    -F-16C won't fire BVR missiles, so here is the link to fix not only the F-16C but all the F-16 series
    http://forum.combatace.com/topic/49820-f-16-bvr-problem/
    -modding the DATA.INI and Loadout.INI for all aircraft is a must
    -There is the Stock campaign which comes along with it (Overwrite if you want, it is untouched)
    Credit Goes to its respective owners of the aircraft, and mods, as well as Crusader for helping me
    figure out the BVR issue for the F-16.
    Future plans
    I Want to work on a campaign that takes place in 20XX which feature generation 5 fighters.
    I want to create the ultimate dogfight between the F-22 and Su-47, But until the Su-47 is complete,
    These 4 campaigns will have to make do.
  23. CAMPAIGNE_Revised
    This is a little modification for TK's SF2:E.
    The stock campaigns were a bit modified and
    AI planes were made flyable. There are no additional
    planes or cockpits needed. The data- files to make
    the AI planes flyable are included
    1.Changes in campaigns:
    -----------------------
    Following nations were made flyable:
    621026 Red Thunder
    --------------------
    - France
    680821 Red Hammer
    790918 Red Lightning
    --------------------
    - West Germany
    - France
    - Canada
    2. Installation
    ----------------
    Drop both folders in C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 Europe
    ATTENTION:
    ------------
    Backup your files as there are several changes in the data-files in both folders!!! I take no responsibility if you screw your installation uP!!!
    3. Notes:
    ---------
    It's an 'all-in-one-install', meaning that the necessary files are provided. So no extra downloading is needed! (But if you want other planes or cockpits feel free to change:-)
    This campaign works with a jun2009b patched SF2/SF2:V/SF2:E merged installation.
    It should work with SF2:E too, as long as the stock cockpits are included.
    If anything shouldn't work, PM me over at combatace.com
    4. Credits
    ----------
    Credits are going to TK and Thirdwire for offering such a great game and to the whole combatace community, without you, I wouldn't love this series that much!!!
    5. Last but not least
    ---------------------
    READ THE DETAILED README!!!
    ENJOY :-)
