This skin is intended for use with the F-4F series add-on by Bunyap, Sundowner and USAFMTL posted here at Combatace.com. Just drop the folder into the F-4F_late folder. In case you want the tail art to not be partially hidden behind the nav lights, it will also work on the F-4E. In that case, you will need to edit the Decals.ini file to reflect the different path.

An imaginary tribute from JG71 Richtofen to their namesake The Red Baron. Alternatives for with and
without the name and picture.
This is the last grey camo used by the RF 4C on service in the Spanish air force until 2002. You´ll see in the original that they did not have the cat used by the 12 th wing (Torrejón base) and the logo "no le busques tres pies..", but I have put it in the model. I´m sorry, but I like it.

This is a fix for F-4E serial numbers used by TAC when deployed to Southeast Asia in 1972-73. The first two digits are the Fiscal year of manufacture, unlike PACAF's system of dropping the first digit of the serial number.
Just drop these into the objects-decals folder and over-write the old files.
In addition, new TGA files are supplied for TAC F-4Ds of the 49th TFW from Holloman which deployed to Takhli RTAFB. These aircraft had serial numbers in all white and were of a split-stencil style. The new F-4D decals.ini has these at the bottom of the list with "HO" after the serial number. All 20 listed aircraft actually flew with theone of the four squadrons of the 49th at Takhli with "HB", "HC", "HD" and "HE" tailcodes, then all recoding at Takhli to "HO" codes in mid-1972.
Sorry for the mistake,
Mike D.

Here is a long overdue overhaul of the USAF F-4C/D/E Phantom II tailcode decals for every Air Force Phantom squadron in Southeast Asia from 1967 through 1975 for WOV. Some 326 new TGA decals are provided with (hopefully) correct fin tip colors, canopy rails, tape lights, and intake insignias for a total of 62 marking schemes, many I have not seen released before. Also included are my F-4 serial number decals, plus a little historical info for reference.
A new squadronlist.ini file is provided with new entries, but none of the original squadron entries are altered so you do not need to edit any existing campaign or mission files.
I'd appreciate any input for mistakes/corrections and of course additions.
(The TGA decals have some reference marks on them also to allow anyone to use them to create new markings!)
Enjoy,

Here are three base texture sets in 1024 pixel resolution based on Sundowner's templates (with his kind permission). Represented are "new", "used" and "worn" textures to go along with my USAF F-4 decal set. A matching color 370 gal drop tank is included.

WOV F-4E replacement SE Asian textures
These textures are revisions of the templates graciously loaned to me by Sundowner. As with the F-4D textures, I created, three versions. Provided are "new", "used" and "worn" versions. The textures are 1024 pixel in size, and are intended to be used with my USAF F-4 decal project. A new 370 gal drop tank texture is also provided.

This eggs outta the basket!!
This is an F-4E pack with 3 camouflage patterns based on the jets I worked on the first 4 years of my enlistment as an aircraft structural mechanic in the Air National Guard. This pack represents the entire 163rd Tactical Fighter Squadron, 122nd Tactical Fighter Wing of the Indiana Air National Guard.
Read the readme files!! They explain how things get installed and how they work.
Enjoy!

One of several skins I've had for a long while sitting on my hard-drive. A just for fun F4-F no historical accuracy claimed. For use with the stock aircraft please read the read-me file before using, have fun.
Revised WOV USAF F-4 tailcodes 11-07
This is a small update to my USAF SE Asia Phantom II tailcode decals. It adds fin tip colors to the RHAW antenna housing on the vertical stab, and wingtip tape light decals. Also included is a new nose landing gear door decal with the last three digits of the serial number - which is repeated on the inside of the nose gear side fairing door (for PACAF F-4D serials only). Although not on every airplane, this was very common on many F-4Ds in Southeast Asia.
Several entries in the squadronlist.ini were extraneous - this has been fixed. Drop all included decal .TGA files into your objects-decals folder, over-writing all older files. Place this squadronlist.ini into the Pilotdata folder. (No new entrys were added, only extra entries deleted. Oh, also I missed the 13th TFS, 432nd TRW at Udorn with "UD" tailcodes in 1973 which was accidentally "WP" on the decal. All original entries remain the same, only now they will call up correct decals).

Revised WOV F-4C/D textures 11-07
Found a couple of problem areas after releasing the first texture sets. These are fixed, plus the panel lines and stenciled markings are sharpened up a bit. Also darkened up the rear fuselage bare metal areas to match photos better and changed the wing fold details and tweaked a few other minor details. As before, these base textures are made to go with my USAF F-4 decals so no national markings are on the base art. Still at 1024 pixel resolution for modest computer systems.
