    1. Lothar Classical Piano France

Period-appropriate piano music for the French campaign in Over Flanders Fields sets quite a different mood than the cinematic presentation of OBD Software’s official soundtrack. Additional musical immersion mod available for Germany, and may follow for other nations.

The Music: Gabriel Fauré was the most progressive and celebrated French composer of his generation. In the later years of his life, struggling with deafness, his music took a darker, more introspective turn. Pensive anger, grief, despair, bouts of calm and remembered joy--presaged the bleeding of France in the Great War.

    2. Sound Tweak 3 + Engines

      Hello Folks
As promised here are my final Versions of my different Sound Mods. They are JSGME-Ready, just unzip both Downloads to your MODS-Folder at your OFF-Installation. Let them overwrite everything, ignore all Warnings! Now it should work!
The good News: You do not need any longer all of my previous Mods, you can delete them all. These two Packages include ALL of my Work, plus the new Sound Tweak III. Previous Mods are not neccessary!!! You will also do not need Creaghorn's Sound Tweak II any longer, of course you can use it, if you like.
I've worked very long on this, and I hope you all enjoy this as much as I do!
      What's new in this Mod?
      1. New Sounds for the SE5a Viper and the German Albatros-Series. I've returned back to Creaghorn's Mercedes Engines, they are much better than mine. But I've changed the Exterior Sounds and the Startup Sequence.
      2. New Explosions. You will now hear new FLAK, New Ground Explosions and new Frontambience. Before you start your Engine, listen to the "Thunder" in the Background
      3. New "Whistle" Sounds when you drop a Bomb
      4. New "Screams" when a Pilot is wounded (more scary)
      5. New Bullet hit Sounds. Some Bullets will now scratch sometimes on Metal.
      6. New Exterior Engine Sounds for the Sopwith-Series, Nieuport-Series, Spad and SE5-Series, Fokker and Albatros-Series, and some Two-Seaters.
      7. Some new Gun Sounds for Aircraft. I like them!
      8. New Ground Gunnery Machineguns.

I've used some Samples from old Sound Tweak II and also the XML-File Creaghorn modified some Years ago. Thank you for that!
Thanks to PANAMA RED and OLPAINT for helping me converting my Files! You helped me very much

    3. BH_DFW_CV_KuK_Random_Hex.zip

Yet another skin for the DFW C.V in OFF. This one is done in Austro-Hungarian hex camo. The fuselage is 7 colors, totally random. The upper surfaces are 6 colors arranged semi-randomly in stripes and squiggles. I got this paintjob from (many) photos of Knoller C.II(Lo) number 119.15 in a museum in the Czech Republic. The paintjob is copied hex-for-hex from that plane, but because the DFW is somewhat larger and has different proportions, the pattern doesn't quite fit and I had to ad lib all the wingtips.

NOTES: The hex pattern is NOT supposed to like up between the top and the sides of the fuselage--they don't on the real plane. Also, there are some texture mapping issues, most noticeably on the upper wing just left of center at the trailing edge. Pretend those are repair patches--nothing I can do about them.

    4. Albatros D.V "Windrose"

      Albatros D.V "Windrose"

Inspired by the 3. Albatros D.Va built by THE VINTAGE AVIATOR, I made this skin.
The plywood of the TVA craft was varnished with a clear laquer with a warm redbrownish tone added.
It looks like a darker honey, or amber.
Together with the mauve and green upper wing camo, it goes very nicely.

The skin file has to be unzipped, and goes into this folder:

OBD Software > CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields > campaigns > CampaignData > skins

If you want to use it on an Albatros D.V early (the "hunchback one", you only need to delete the word "later_" with one subline.

The skin uploaded here has no capital "H" on the wing; I thought you'd like to use your own pilot's first letters.

Thanks again, OBD skinners, as I was inspired your your over 3.400 skins, and worked after them.

A quick and dirty Austro-Hungarian skin for the Hannover. This is a 2-tone, hex-edged scheme based on UFFAG C.Is from mid-1918.

v2: Changed color of upper wing center section, lower side. Also some general minor tweaks.

A DFW skin with no paint other than the insignia and serial number. This, with its darkly varnished fuselage, is intended to stand in for the Brandenburg C.I in its most common appearance. Seems like most KuK planes weren't painted.

    15. New OFF Campaign Music

      Hi Folks
I have been active once again as a Sound Tinkerer, this time it is about the Campaign Menu of our all favourite Game. Not because I do not like Matt Milne's fantastic Soundtrack (I really LOVE it!). I thought only, after 3 years it would be a time for something New. I have taken different Soundtracks from different Movies, mixed them in a different way, in addition some new Samples (Explosions) to form the whole Game a little more freshly. For example, I took some Tracks from the Soundtrack of the Movie "The Red Baron". Even if the Movie itself is only an average, I find the Soundtrack, nevertheless, exceedingly successful! And when you start a Campaign, you will now hear new heavy Artillery Fire, when there's an active Battle in your Sector.

I do not pursue unauthorised duplication here, because I have taken as a precaution NOT complete Songs, but cuttings (parts) in each case long only 2-3 minutes from it. This might be probably within the scope of the permissible (I hope so). I lift on it respectedly that the respective pieces also do not exaggerate the Ambience of the Game, and the Atmosphere of the Campaign, nevertheless, is preserved.
The Original Theme of the Game was not altered!
I know everybody has another taste Music concerns, but I like the Choice, actually, very well

The Sound Mod is JSGME - ready. Simply extract the Package into your Mods Folder and activate it. I hope you'll enjoy the Songs as much as I do !

    22. OFFice: Skin in the Game

‘Skin in the Game’ is a custom skin pack for the OFFice incomparable campaign engine for Over Flanders Fields. It includes historically appropriate custom paint jobs for player aircraft in the OFFice campaign from the OFF community’s best skinners. Most of these are already available for download at Combat Ace, but this provides a single, easy-to-install package.

      Installation:

The installer will automatically extract the mod into your OFF JSGME mods folder if OFF and JSGME are installed correctly. The ‘OFFice - Skin in the Game’ folder can be manually activated with JSGME if this pack is used without the rest of the OFFice suite.

OFFramp will activate the mod automatically for your OFFice campaigns, so when you next launch OFF from OFFbase any additional skins will selectable in-game for your aircraft type. If the Bletchley’s RSS Ammo mod is enabled in OFFramp, your Munitions Officer will let you know in the hangar if custom skins are acceptable.

      DFW C.V Realistic(?) Naval Hex

After a lot more research, I totally re-did the paintjob of my naval DFW skin. Now it looks (I THINK) about as realistic as possible, per Dan-San Abbott's information. Hand-painted, symmetrical hexes in hopefully the right colors, and the correct colors on the fuselage and rudder.

      SPAD VII – Spa.26 1917

No. S 1042 (14) of Spa.26 crashed on nose at St. Pol. This plane was wrecked on 14 September 1917 by M.d.L. Quellec. The serial number indicates that the plane was constructed by Blériot but it appears that the upper wing had been previously replaced with one constructed by S.P.A.D. or Kellner as the cocardes are of a larger diameter than found on Blériot-built planes. Also note that the nose appears to be painted in a dark color. A darkish color extends over the fabric surfaces back to the fuselage band.
