    1. AD-4N/NL Skyraider

      AD-4NL Skyraider, Korean War, VC-35

      UPDATED to Ver 2 for SF/SFG/WoV/WoE/WoI and SF2 & SF2:V, too

This version is designed to TOTALLY replace the one I released in 2005; a LOT has been updated.

This has a brand new skin, still representing VC-35 "Night Hecklers" during the Korean War, is based off new templates
from Royohboy's AdA Skyraiders, all new decals for modex and semi-historical BuNums. I saw 'semi', as these ARE in
fact, REAL BuNums as assigned by BuAer to AD-4NLs, but I was unable to ascertain exactly which were assigned to
VC-35's aircraft. So, consider them generic AD-4N BuNums.

This is a full, complete add on aircraft mod, with all the goodies necessary. Along with the new skin and decals, there's a
heavily modified/repainted/tweekified A-4E cockpit. (more below in "Notes" on an alternate).

Small data ini edits add a landing light, a few more running lights. Edits to the landing gear make this aircraft fully functional in the post-08 patch world. It should also function pretty well in SF2/SF2:V. This has been tested, and acts just the same in SF2 as is post-patch WoE. It's fully carrier rated, so mission and campaign builders can do their thing.

2 new -only available in this mod!!- carrier deck Hangar Screens are included. Both are the "WoE-style", but for the SF2
series, that one has the blackboard removed. Also, a new damage tga for the 'tail' section has been created.

Designed for use with any weapons pak, the 3 necessary addons, the APS-31 radar pod, AN/ALT-7 ECM pod, a small
50-ish gallon and 300 gallon tank are included. What is NOT included, are the HVARs, 250, 500 and 1000 lb WW2 era
bombs. You WILL need to have these available via one of the existing weapons paks!!!

As always, unzip this to a temp folder somwhere, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions.

      Good Hunting!!

      =====================

      Notes :

      1. Rafael's excellent AMX was released prior to the advent of both the weapons pack project, and Thirdwire's release of
patch SP3.1 & WOV Patch 2. This kit updates the AMX to both the Italian AMX AMI version and the Brazilian version by
EMBRAER. As such, both versions now have the appropriate cannon armament, as well as radar, RWR, and ECM capabilities.
      2. Italian AMX AMIs were used primarily as light ground attack craft with limited air intercept functions. As such their
primary heatseeking missile is the AIM-9L. They replaced both G-91 and F-104 aircraft in Italian service.
      3. The AMX-1 EMBRAERs in Brazilian service generally carried Hydra rockets, and the AIM-9P series of IRMs. Beginning in
2002, the AIM-9Ps were replaced with the indiginous Orbita MAA-1 Piranha missiles. The EMBRAER built AMX-1s also carry
the more capable Scipio SCP-01 radar to aid in air intercepts.
      4. Please note that the config.inis for both versions of the AMX include data for all currently availible AMX skins, both
Italian and Brazilian. These skins are availible for download at both AVSIM and the MarcFighters section at CombatAce.

This is add-on will allow you to fly a historically accurate F-4B from VF-84 Jolly Rogers, during their '65 deployment to Vietnam, aboard the USS INDEPENDENCE.

Because so little reference was available, only modex 200, 201,202, 203, 205, 207,208, and 211 are available.

A fictional "Arctic Camo" skin set for the MiG-29A. It weighs in at 1024x1024 pixels, so you might want to make sure that you have a 128 meg video card (at the very least!).

You can resize it to 512x512 if necessary, without a major loss of detail.

    15. F-104A Pakistan Air Force(Ex-RJAF 9 Sqdn)

The skin is for ajunaidr's excellent F-104A Starfighter made using his templates.
Reports from Indian MiG-21-pilots that engaged PAF Starfighters in air combats on 17 December 1971 indicate that the Starfighters wore "desert camouflage". It is now well-known that a number of Starfighters from the No.9 Squadron Royal Jordanian Air Force were sent to Pakistan during this war: some of these aircraft were camouflaged, and it is now believed that the Indians on 17 December engaged these "ex-Jordanian" F-104As, shooting down two of them and one of original PAF Starfighters as well.

Many thanks to ajunaidr for making an excellent F-104A model for SF

    19. MiG-9 FARGO

Mikoyan MiG 9 Strike Fighters Project One Add-on by Timmy and Lexx_Luthor.

In response to a state requirement issued in February 1945 for a pure jet fighter, the MiG OKB developed a twin-engine, straight-wing aircraft that was given the designation of "I-300". It was also referred to by the internal OKB code of "izdeliye F (model or product F)". And was finally designated "MiG-9" by the Soviet Union and code named "Fargo" by NATO. The first of three prototype performed its initial flight on 24 April 1946, with test pilot Alexei N. Grinchik at the controls, making it the first Soviet pure jet aircraft to take to the sky. It beat its competitor, the Yakovlev Yak-15 jet fighter, into the air by only an hour.

There are six skins included. One basic Soviet Silver version. One Soviet silver with lightning bolts. One People's Republic of China - silver with red nose and wingtips. One PRC solid green camoflage. One PRC Grey/Green Camoflage. One fictional Polish scheme.

Readme for ALARM for SFP1/WOV/WOE (Version 1.1)

      2. If you already have the previous version of these files, just copy the Objects directory into your SFP1 install as per Instruction step 3, allowing overwrites.

      3. Reference materials included.

      ********************************* Version 1.0 Original Release ********************************

      Version 1.0

      Thanks to the following folks:

TK - For the ThirdWire series of sims.
Bunyap and Wpnssgt - For the original Weapons Pack.
Mustang - For the great video tutorials.
To my fellow Combatace moderators - For helping me beta test and work out bugs.
Any errors or mistakes are entirely mine.

      What you will need first:

      Thirdwire Weapons Editor - http://www.thirdwire.com/downloads_tools.htm

Copy of SFP1/WOE/WOV patched to the latest standard (as of 03 Oct 07)

      Notes and limitations:

The ALARM is a BAe Systems Anti-Radiation missile designed to kill SAM/AAA radars. The real missile has a 'up and over' capability that allows it to descend on a parachute to wait for a radar to light up.

The ALARM uses it's own specific pylon...you will see them on the pylon until you fire, then the pylon will disappear.

The paint scheme is 'best guess', based on the few pictures available.

The TW engine does not support a 'loiter' type missile...so best way to use this weapon is like a standard ARM.

This is FREEWARE only, NO money is allowed to be made on the contents of these files, in whole or in part.

Feel free to redistribute, as long as the original authors are given appropriate credit.
