      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*You MUST have SF2I as part of you merged install, as that's where the Skytrain comes from. If you don't, do not download this mod as it will do you no good!!*

A new, revamped version of the skin found in Paulopanz' C-47 Pak. This has a new replacment natual metal skin for the:

21st Troop Carrier Squadron, aka "The Kyushu Gypsies"

as seen during the Korean Conflict.
All markings (exepting the tail band) are decals; decal randomization is TRUE. Serial numbers are 100% historically accurate for this unit. Please note, 2 or 3 of these aircraft were "on loan" to the USAF from several UN Allied forces (Greece, iirc). They are also accurate, but carry the American insignias.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them.

    4. Upgrade and Skinpack for Veltro2K's C-5 Galaxy

      Skinpack for Veltro2k's C-5 Galaxy

This mod brings about several historical skins for the C-5A Galaxy by Veltro2K. This mod adds several Euro 1 schemes, historical
serial numbers for both A and B model Galaxies as well as representation of most every airlift unit that operated the C-5.

Installation: unzip and install into your mods folder. Allow overwriting if needed. This mod can run in any and all versions of SF2.

Included: reworked MAC White over Grey skin (original by Gebrueder)
4 European 1 schemes, two for the C-5A, one for the C-5B and one featuring both
2 Overall grey schemes, featuring units from the 90s and mid 2000s
reworked data.ini changing in game designation to C-5 Galaxy and adjusting the loadout in the cargo bay
vehicle cargo to load into the cargo bay

KNOWN ISSUE: the refueling markings on top are shown via tga. that tga projects a weird grey line on the left side of the fuselage only. there is not a fix
at this time. how ever it is most noticeable on the white over grey and even then only at very close range. it is less noticeable on the camoflaged schemes. this will be fixed when possible, my apologies for any inconvienence. I felt that how it appears at normal viewing range vs time to fix, it was ready to release.

Credits: Veltro2k- original 3d model and overall grey skin
gebrueder- original MAC white over grey skin
      Geary- assistance with template
Wrench- assorted question support and narrowing of decal placement from his improvements on Veltro's original
Daddyairplanes- data.ini edit, Euro 1 skin variants, decals, vehicle cargo loadouts
KillerBee331- weapons pack that most cargo items are derived from
TK- original game, files that M-60(D) cargo item is derived from

Thank you for downloading this mod and i hope that you enjoy it.

    9. SF2 RCN Hawker Seafury Skin Pack

SF2 RCN Hawker Seafury Skin Pack 4/6/2015

*For SF2 -ONLY-!! Full-5 Merged Reccomended*

This package contains a skin for the recently released (skippybing) Hawker Seafury. You can find the base aircraft at the following URL (and you'll need it to add these skins to):

      http://combatace.com/files/file/15390-sf2-kaw-hawker-sea-fury-sb-pack/

      Reminder: this is =ONLY= a skin/decal pak!

These 2 skins represent Royal Canadian Navy Seafurys in the 1950s. Both are finished in the "2-tone Grey".
You have skins for the following squadrons:

      803 NAS, crica 1951
      870 NAs (aka VF-870) circa 1953

The SF2 'date switch' is active, so VF-870 will turn on in 1953.
All markings, execpting the fin flash, are decals (due to running out of meshes). Decal randomization is TRUE for both skins.
Also included, from eburger's SF2NA Ulitmate CV Pack, are slightly modified versions of the HMCS Bonaventure & Magnificent. See "Notes" for change log.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them after Unzipping but =BEFORE= installing!! Also, as usual, give the "Notes and Comments" section a read, too.

      Happy Landings!!

    10. PAF Sabres HD Generic Skins

      PAF Sabres HD generic Skins.

Presented are a couple of Generic HD quality Skins to portray the PAF Aircraft which fought in the wars of 65' and 71'.Two skins are contained, one for the F-86F(Silver) and another for the Cl-13B(EuroCam).

The base skins were borrowed from the Luftwaffe F-86 Pack. The skins are 2048x2048 so those with older systems should resize to a lower resolution.I have modified the colours of the Euro Cam skin to give it a distressed look showing service under wartime conditions with little maintainance.Realistic dirt as well as wear and tear have been added to both skins. The Roundels and Fin Flash do not use Decals but are part of the skins themselves. This Skin pack is meant to represent a Generic look hence no decals are provided though you can get the decals from one of the many PAF Sabre packs on Combatace. Both skins by default have a dirty gunport but clean variants are also provided as an option. These skins are compatible with all models of the F-86.

      Use:
Simply unzip and place the skin folders in the folder of your aircraft.

      IMPORTANT:
I HEREBY CLAIM NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY OF THE CHANGES THIS MOD MAY RENDER TO YOUR GAME(Even though it doesn't).IF THIS MOD IS INSTALLED,THEN IT IS DONE ONLY BY THE WILL OF THE USER AND I CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS.INSTALL AT YOUR OWN RISK.(The mod is perfectly safe, but I still claim no responsibility just to be safe!)

You have permission to modify these textures for your own mod(s) as long as I(lazarus1177) am acknowledged as the original author.

If you have any concerns about my mod(s),then I can be contacted here at combatace.

    12. SF2 USAF 1950s & Later C-47 Skytrain Skin Pack

      SF2 USAF 1950s & Later C-47 Skytrain Skin Pack 6/10/2015

      = For SF2 (Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED, PLUS SF2I EXPANSION SET 1 ) =

**You =MUST= have SF2 Expansion Pack 1 to have access to the stock 3W C-47!!!**

Reskins of the stock 3W C-47 skytrain, representing USAF aircraft of the 1950s, and from the mid-50s thru the 1970s.
This package contains 2 skins (names reflect the actual folder names. Displayed names may/will be different):

      USAF Arctic 1:

      (displays as same)
As based at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska, and seen in many "points North". The aircraft carries the standard Alaska Air Command early 50s style of red tail and outer wings; and also has the Air Rescue Service yellow band and fuselage placard, with the AAC badge on the tail. Research has indicated either the 17th or 54th Troop Carrier Squadrons (which were based at Elmendorf in the early 1950s). This skin is also representative of the Skytrain as seen in the movie "The Thing from Another World (1951)". That aircraft is represented, including it's nose art. See Notes for more details on "Tropical Tilly".

      USAF NM 2:

(displays as USAF NM/White (Late) )
This skin uses the SF2 date switch, and will turn on in 1955.
Standard post-1955, natural metal with heat refelctive white painted upper cabin (fuselage). Carries no unit or numbered AF badges, not even the MATS badge. Serial numbers carry the "0" (zero) prefix, designating aircraft 10 or more years of age.

All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. While serial numbers are correct for the aircraft depicted, they should be considered 'generic' in nature, as they represent no specific aircraft or unit. 18 serial number decals are provided for each aircraft. Skins remain in bmp format (I was lazy!)
Also included are the cockpit (for those that haven't made it flyable yet) updated/revamped data, avionics, userlist inis, plus pilot figures and engine sound. I've also given you my (patent-pending) "One Click Restore" main ini. There are no hangar or loading screens for either of these 2 skins (I lied -- there's one. You'll see it!).

As always, unzip this to a temp folder or your desktop, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for the install instructions.

      Happy Landings!

These are relined and repainted skins for Wrench's SF2 Corsairs paks for use in a SF2 Korea War install.  This pak contains 5 different Corsair versions and 25 unit skins.
You must have Wrench's sf2_kaw_corsairs file installed for the AU-1 an F4U-5NL.  You must have his sf2_kaw-f4u4_corsairs_pak installed for the F4U-4 and F4U-4B.  And you must have his sf2_kaw_f4u5-corsair_pak for the F4U-5. His original readme(s) are in the Original Readme's Folder.

The skins are in .jpg format at 2048 x 2048 pixels each.

And to Geary - for new lines, rivets, repaints, conversions, ini tweaks, a few decals, adding .50 cal painted gun ports to F4U-4, etc...
But, especially to Wrench for all the work he did in putting the original Corsair paks together.

INSTALLATION:  Unzip to a folder/place of your choice.  Copy, Move, Drag-n-Drop or do whatever you wish to get the folders into their corresponding folders in your SF2 Korea install. Overwrite if asked. Fly.

Replace the old/original decals with the ones provided.  Most are Wrench's original but some have been changed.
If you don't have the correct weapons, look in the many weapons packs available here at CombatAce.

    14. SF2 MLD PV-2 Harpoon Skin Set

      SF2 MLD PV-2 Harpoon Skin Pack        9/5/2017
      = For SF2 (Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED) =
This package contains a new skin for Veltro2k's Lockheed PV-2 Harpoon naval patrol bomber. This
skin/decal set represents the 18 as used by the Royal Netherlands Naval Air Service
      (Marineluchtvaartdienst) or MLD.
The MLD recieved 18 Harpoon in 1950, and were used in the Martime Recon, and Search & Rescue
until their replacement by P2V Neptunes in the early 1960s.

The skin is in jpg format, in overall "Dark Gloss Navy Blue" finish. All markings are decals,
and decal randomization is TRUE. Displayed serial numbers are 100% historically correct for the
aircraft depicted, as used by the MLD.
Also included is the updated (and a backup copy) of the data ini for those that have not updated
their WW2 versions. If you've done so, you need not install these 2 files (they're the same as
in the update pack, so no harm will come if you do).
You will still need the aircraft itself, available at the following URL:
      https://combatace.com/files/file/15018-ww2-pto-pv-2-harpoon-package/
As always, unzip this to a temp folder or your desktop, and you'll have access to the rest of
the readme for the install instructions.
*Please note, that even though the aircraft is WW2 vintage, THIS use is Cold War, which is why
      it's been placed here*

    15. 333rd TFS F100A/C/D Skin

This is a skin for the 333rd TFS, which flew F100s from 1957 to 1960. Drop the the files into your objects folder and enjoy.
This is my first skin. The tail decals are stock while the nose decals were created by me. Feel free to leave a review. I am interested in making more skins for the F-100 so I am curious what everyone thinks of this skin.
Thanks to Thirdwire for creating the stock tail decals.

      Installation:
      ------------------------------
These skins are for the TW Kurnass included in StrikeFighters2 Israel. Simply extract the contents of the Kurnass_Early.zip to your desktop or a temporary folder.  Then copy/paste the Effects and Objects folder into your Mods\StrikeFighters2 Israel folder.  If asked to "OVERWRITE" or "Replace The Files In The Destination", click yes.
Shift 0 will open and close the canopy. Israel had first expressed an interest in acquiring the Phantom in 1965, but the U.S. was not yet willing to sell the fighter to Israel. In December 1968 the "Peace Echo" deal was signed for the provision of 44 F-4Es and 6 RF-4Es to the IAF, and on Friday, September 5th, the first Israeli Phantoms landed at Hazor AFB. The four planes, wearing an IAF color scheme but still carrying their American markings, joined the new 201st "Ha'ahat" (The One) squadron, commanded by Shmuel Hetz. Delieveries continued at a rate of 4 a month and on October 23rd the 69th "Patishim" (Hammers) squadron was reformed at Ramat-David, headed by Avihu Ben-Nun. The type entered service as the "Kurnass" (Sledgehammer), the last aircraft arriving in May 1971.  The skins are for the The One (201st) and Hammers (69th) squadrons. Thank Sundowner for the insanely detailed templates, and ravenclaw_007 for the droptank details and the two sharks mouths.  The artistry and craftmenship in their contributions to our community never ceases to amaze me.
To ensure you realize the whole nine yards, be sure to add the ravenclaw_007 Weapon Packs to your install! I hope you enjoy!

      = For SF2NA (Full-5 Merged Prefered) =
      * Designed for SF2:NA, but can be used in any install (full 5 merged) that has access to the A-6E TRAM Intruder (aka: A-6E_79) *
This package contains 1 new skin in lo-viz TPS for the A-6E TRAM Intruder, that comes with SF2:NA. This package represents:
VA-176 "Thunderbolts" embarked aboard USS INDEPENDENCE with the 6th Fleet (Med)
The skin maps are in jpg format. Decal randomization has been set to "TRUE". 25 new Modex and serial numbers (BuNums) have been created for this mod. BuNums, while correct for the A-6E, should be considered 'generic' in nature, as they do not represent any specific aircraft within any given squadron. All markings are decals. However, it should be noted nothing to make this AI plane flyable is included. Other mods provide the necessary instructions and "parts".
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....

    25. SF2 A-6E Intruder, VA-196 Skin/Decals Pack

      SF2 A-6E Intruder, VA-196 Skin/Decals Pack              2/1/2018
      = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Preferred) =
*Can be used in any install that has access to the A-6E*
A new skin for the 3W A-6E Intruder that depicts VA-196 "Main Battery" during 1980 when embarked aboard USS CORAL SEA (also possibly at Gonzo Station, but I haven't confirmed this).
Almost all markings are decals, most made new for this mod, and decal randomization is TRUE. All serial (BuAerNums) are 100% historical in nature. Unfortunately, I could not match all to their Modex number. On the Number display dropdown, those marked with a star (*) are correctly matched. But all are aircraft that served in VA-196 at one time or another. The Default Start Date switch isused on this skin, so in 1980, you should see only this one. The aircraft is finished in the standard Grey/White scheme, with full color markings. The skin is in jpg format.
On the Loadout Screen, for skin selection you'll see:
      VA-196 Main Battery (1980)
Please note, NOTHING is included that makes the aircraft flyable; no inis, cockpit parts (I use the Razbam payware pit on my A-6E & A-6E TRAMs). You should have made them flyable or need to seek the "parts" on your own. Also, if you have made it flyable, and use the "Read Only" trick on the main ini (A-6E.ini), you'll have to un-read only it to add this skin.
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....
      Happy Landings!
