    2. Messerschmitt Bf 109E-4B 3./Erpr.Gr.210(Battle of Britain)

Messerschmitt Bf 109E-4B 3./Erpr.Gr.210(Battle of Britain)

      Texture for Strike Fighters 2.

Luftwaffe 3./ Erpr.Gr.210(Erprobungsgruppe 210)was the third staffel of the Gruppe and the only one equipped with Bf 109Es.
The others two squadrons operated with Bf 110C-4B, D-0, D-1 and other new and last versions of the Zerstörer.
3./Erpr.Gr.210 take on charge a batch of new Bf 109E-4B by July 1940 and began an intensive programme of training.
A red line was painted in the left canopy side to serve as reference at the dive(45 ° from 3000m).
On Jul 13, 1940 by 07.00 hours Erpr.Gr.210 move forward from its base at Denain to St Omer for start operations in convoy attacks. The group flew his first mission at 12.15 hours, targeting a convoy off Harwich .
Erpr.Gr.210 was a precision attack unit and after targeting convoy traffic, switch in the next phase of the Battle of Britain, to attack radar stations and airfields.
On Aug 15, 1940 Erpr.Gr.210 suffer heavy losses. After two succesfull sorties, the Gruppe depart by the 17.00 hrs to attack Kenley.
With the low setting sun, Erpr.Gr.210 dont find the escorting JG 52 and continued always a low altitude to London area.
The Gruppe made a long approach by the north and began the attack, but they mistook Croydon with Kenley. The long approach give to the RAF, enough time to intercept and
two Hurricanes squadrons(No.32 and No.111 Sqn)were converging to the Kenley area.
The attack cause moderate damage to Kenley and then Gruppenkommandeur, Hptm Rubensdorffer, ordered the retreat. But that was too late.
The Hurricanes went to chase the Bf 110s and the eight Bf 109E-4B led by Ltn.Horst Marx were no enough to content the attack.
The full Stab flight was destroyed(Rubendorsffer and his radio were KIA)and 2./Erpr.Gr.210 loss three others Bf 110s. Ltn.Marx try to save and protect Rubendorsffer but he was also hit and shot down.
Marx´s Bf 109 was one of the only two Bf 109s lost in combat by Erpr.Gr.210 by the Battle of Britain.

      VF-192
      VF-193

    5. F4U-1D, VMF-112 Skin Pak

VMF-112, F4U-1D Corsair, USS Bennington 1945 Skin Pak

      == For WW2 PTO SF2, Any and All ==

*Note: can be used in any PTO centric install, and probably will work in 1stGens as well*

A new skin for Wolf257's Corsair; to be used with my F4U-1D mod available here at CA at the following URL:

      http://combatace.com/files/file/1532-f4u-1d-corsair/

This represents F4U-1D Corsairs as flown frum USS Bennington in the later months of the war.
Decal randomization is set to TRUE (which won't work if used in 1stGen installs, but what the hey, right?)
Also included is a 90%-ish SF2 compliant FM in/on/part of the enclosed data ini*, a new 'main ini' (F4U-1D.ini), and an SF2 Userlist.ini (as USMC is considered a 'Seperate Nation' for Export Purposes ™). It's advised other USN/USMC Corsairs have the necessary lines added, year adjusted and use this new userlist.

As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install (read: drag and drop).

      Happy Hunting!

    7. EAF Supermarine Spitfire F Mk 22 White DLC 29

Twenty reconditioned F.22's were sold to Egypt in 1950 and 10 to Syria.

This white skin is a remake of previous Wrench's one. Decals are old ones.

I made this only because I liked so much the original I can't wait to use the new model in DLC 29.

      All the credits to Kevin.

    8. SF2 WW2 ETO Bristol Beaufighter TF.X, ANZAC Skin Pack

SF2 WW2 ETO Bristol Beaufighter TF.X, ANZAC Skin Pack 1/8/2016

-- Something for the WW2 ETO players --

      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

As this skin/decal set is for the ANZAC Strike Wing Beaufighters, is it to be used on the recently released Beaufighter TFX (Early) by Cocas, avaliable at the following url:

      http://combatace.com/files/file/15981-sf2-ww2-eto-bristol-beaufighter-tfx-v9-by-cocas/

This pack contains the following aircraft & skin/decal sets:

      Beaufighter TF Mk.X (Early)

No.455 Squadron (RAAF) (code - UB)
      No.489 Squadron (NZ) (code - P6)

of the ANZAC Strike Wing. Both aircraft carry full D-Day markings. The SF2 "date swtich" is =NOT= used on either skin.
The Squadron Crest is used as the paint chip seen on the Loadout Screen. Skins are in jpg format. All markings are decals, and decal randomization is set to TRUE.
Serials for 489 should be considered 'generic' in nature, and use the serials from the "Coates" deacl folder from the original aircraft release.
Serials for 455 are 100% Historically Accurate ™ and are matched to the "plane in squadron" letter.

On the loadout screen, you'll see...

No. 455 Sqdn RAAF (D-Day Stripes)
No. 489 Sqdn NZ (D-Day Stripes)

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please =READ= them BEFORE installing this mod!!!. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.

    9. SF2 WW2 SAAF Hurricane Skins, East Africa

1 SAAF Squadron - Hurricane MKIA
3 SAAF Squadron - Hurricane MkIA (Trop)

These skins are for Raven's excellent Hurricane MkI and MkIa (Trop). Most of the hard work on these skins is down to him - I've just played around with the panel lines and added some extra decals.

SAAF squadrons in East Africa used a number of different aircraft over the campaign so I've decided to set these around January 1941 when:
      - 3 SAAF Squadron was Hurricanes only and
      - 1 SAAF Squadron was a mix of the original MkIs supplied early in the war, loaned MkIa(Trops) from 3 SAAF and Gladiators.

Anyone who would like the layered files to play with should drop me a line and I'll convert them to your format of choice - anything to encourage more people to get into skinning.

      Regards

      Lloyd

    10. SF2 WW2 MTO Dewoitine D.520 Skin/Ini Tweeks Pack

      SF2 WW2 MTO Dewoitine D.520 Skin/Ini Tweeks Pack 5/15/2015

-- Something for the WW2 MTO players --

      = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*Note: this mod is most likely =NOT= usable in 1stGen installs at any patch level*

**Notex2: while designed for use in a MTO-Centric mods folder, the majority of the changes are readily useful during the aircraft's total service life.**

Some tweeks, fiddles and a new skin & decal set for Veltro's Dewoitine D.520 French fighter plane. See the 'Notes' sector for full Change Log.
Be advised, this package is designed to REPLACE, in total, both the AdA and VAdA D.520s in the "SF2 WW2 French Fighters Pak" re-issue of 2013. If you have that mod, it is =HIGHLY= reccomended you delete the old aircraft (and decals) =BEFORE= installing this one.

This little kit is designed to work with the D.520 available at the following url:

      http://combatace.com/files/file/14334-dewoitine-d520/

      The new skins represent:

      GC III/6 2e, Syria, 1941 (VAdA)
      GC II/3 2e SPA 81, Algiers, 1942 (VAdA - full striped markings)

The skins use the SF2 'date switch', to turn automatically in July, 1940 (after the Armistace, and creation of Vichy forces). This is one of main reasons for the export/service editing, and additions to the Userlist. However, these changes ARE designed for use throughout the aircraft service life. (although, again, mostly for after the Armistice).
However, since I've supplies 2 skins, for opposite ends of the Med, you'll have to select the appropriate one for the theatre you're flying in.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!! In fact, it's RECCOMENDED!!! that you read these instructions BEFORE installing (but after unzipping, of course) as you'll be backing up a few of the inis (for safety's sake, doncha know).

This is a "blank" skin, with no marking other than the Invasion Stripes, and can be used with any of the available decal sets for the stock Mk.IXc AND Mk.IXe. A simple rename of the textures will allow it's usage on either one. See "Notes" for more details.

The stripes represented here are the 'full' set, top/bottom of wings and fully wrapping around the fuselage, as used from June 6, 1944 to approx September 44 (ish). The Sky ID band has been omitted, although photographic evidence exists of it having been used, even with the Invasion stripes. Yellow wing IFF bands remain.

REMINDER-- this is not a 'full' ready-to-use skin pak. The folder is just named "DDAY" for convience. You'll have to create specifically named skin folders (ie: 411-DDay, for example) for proper, historical usage.

There is no decals or texture set inis included -- however, a "base" texture set showing the in-game labeling is included, but NOT usable per se. It's just there to show how to set the Displayed Name labeling.
As the mapping for both the 9c and 9e is identical, as are their respective decal positions, any of the existing Spifire 9 decal sets can be reused with this skin.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please =READ= them !!!.

    15. SF2 WW2 MTO Spitfire Mk.IX, Polish Fighting Team Skinpak

SF2 WW2 MTO Spitfire Mk.IX, Polish Fighting Team Skinpak 1/8/2015

-- Something for the Med players --

      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*This mod will NOT work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, at any patch level. One should also have the SF2I expansion pak, that gave us the Spitfires, as this mod REQUIRES the 3W Spitfire Mk.IX,

This package contains a new skin for MTO (specificly Tunisian) based RAF Spitfire Mk.IXs. It represents

"C" Flight, No. 145 Squadron, aka "Polish Fighting Team"

All marking are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE for the 16 plane-in-squadron and serial number decals. Serial numbers marked with a star (*) are 100% historically matched to their plane-in-squadron number. Those marked with a cross (+, ok the plus sign!), while having served with the PFT, could not be matched to a specific aircraft. Those without any markings, are 'generic'. It should be noted, that the PFT used numbers, instead of letter for their individual IDs.
Please note, this is just the skin/decal set. I've not included any of the bits needed to make the aircraft Player Flyable ™. There's plenty of other mods that do this.

When in game, on the Loadout Screen, you'll see

      Polish Fighting Team (145 Sqdn)

in the upper right skin selection drop down.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them.

      = For SF2 (Full4/5 Merged RECCOMENDED!)

*This mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, at any patch level. It was built for SF2 ONLY!!.*

**REMINDER: this pack is for PTO Razorback Jugs -only-!!! And by PTO, this means SoWesPac, NOT CBI, not the Solomons, etc!!! This would include New Guinea, points north and west, and obviously the Philipines.**

This is a new skin for Cocas' PTO P-47D Razorback Thunderbolt. If you don't have it already, you can get the aircraft at the following url:
      http://combatace.com/files/file/15204-sf2-ww2-pto-republic-p-47d-razorback-thunderbolt-by-cocas/

      The skin included is for:

39th FS, 35th FG, as seen in the Phillipines in mid-1944 (also slightly earlier)

It represents the aircraft in their later scheme, up until the time the 35th converted to Mustangs. (oddly, almost all of 5th AF Jugs carried the tail stripes of one kind or another).
All markings are decals, and Decal randomization is TRUE.
The aircraft is finished in Overall Natural Metal, with "new style" Southwest Pacfic markings as of mid-1944. These are the pre-war style red rudder stripes, with a blue leading edge on the Rudder.
Please note, SWP Theatre, Squadron and/or Group specific markings -ARE- painted on.
The serials herein should be considered "generic" in nature, but ARE for the correct model variant.

    18. SF2 WW2 PTO P-47N, Ini, Skin/Decal Update Pak

      SF2 WW2 PTO P-47N, Ini, Skin/Decal Update Pak 10/28/2014

-- Something for the WW2 PTO players --

      = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

**Note: this mod is to be applied to Russ's "P-47N V.2 Final Pak", available at the following URL:

      http://combatace.com/files/file/13202-p-47n-157z/

If you don't have, you should get it!!**

These skins are for WW2 PTO use ONLY! The represent P-47Ns as seen in the last months of the war.
Revamped/Updated skins and decals included are:

      19th FS
      333rd FS
464th FS (replaces the MeatChopper skin & decal folders)
463rd FS (now with some nose arts)

Included as well are revamped loadout and data inis. The data ini contains a slightly refined FM, but is not 100% perfect (although MUCH better than before!), and may need further tweeking by experts. The loadout ini fixes a missed station. A backup copy of the original data ini is included, so you don't need to back up your original.
You also get a NEW box-art style loading screen.

New plane-in-squadron ID numbers, and serials number decals (where used) were created for those using them. The PIS numbers follow the correct sequencing. The serials, while correct for the mark, should be considered 'generic' in nature, as they represent no particular aircraft with the squadrons depicted. Decal randomization is TRUE.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!
To eliminate confusion, You'll be renaming, moving or deleting some folder, as these will replace them. So, before installing, unzip this archive and read the Install Instructions.

    19. SF2 WW2 FAA, 807 NAS, BEIF, Seafire Mk.IIIC Skinpak

      SF2 WW2 FAA Seafire Mk.IIIC, 807 NAS, BEIF 10/5/2014

-- Something for the WW2 Fleet Air Arm players --

      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*Note: this is designed for use in a PTO mods folder built from the SF2NA exe, as it has the proper carrier coding. Also, be advised a correct and proper CBI map with the carrier coding is still in the works.*

The package contains a =NEW= skin for Cocas' Seafire Mk.IIIC as issued to Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm squadrons in British East Indies Fleet. If you don't have the aircraft, you can get it at the following URL:

      http://combatace.com/files/file/15028-sf2-ww2-faa-seafire-mkiiic-pak-by-cocas-aircraft-factory-co/

Skin included in this package is:

      Royal Navy:
No. 807 NAS, BEIF, embarked on HMS HUNTER in 1945

The aircraft carries 'standard' SEAC markings for the period. Code and "plane in group" letters (18) are correct for East Indies Fleet use, but I have not found any references if they carried the "D5" code with HUNTER in the Med. Most likely, they did. In that case, a different skin for MTO usage would be needed, and the national markings decals would need replacing. I have included the PSD I used to make the fuselage codes for any other skinners to use for that purpose, or for other FAA aircraft.
All markings are decals and Decal Randomization is TRUE.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them.

    22. 23rd FG P-51 Mustang (TW)

      P-51D Mustang - 14th Air Force

Here you have a collection of generic skins representing the 14th Air Force Fighter Groups North American P-51D/K Mustang during WWII.

They are NOT 100% accurate and definitely NOT perfect since camouflage and/or markings patterns differed from plane to plane within the same squadron, therefore the term "generic" (constructive criticism will be accepted, however, rivet-counters, nit-pickers and haters in general, well, you can talk amongst yourselves).

This time I have decided to split the original pack into the fighter squadrons in the 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 14th and 15th Army Air Forces, so definitely expect
      more to come!

Most serial numbers used are stock ones and others are modified (colored) stock serials.

You must have the following for this pack to work:
      1. Strike Fighters 2 Expansion Pack 1 installed to get the P-51.
      2. WWII Nations.ini
      3. WWII Formation.ini
      4. WWII weapons pack

Also, you'll need to update your squadron list, which is included in each pack.

Thanks to TW for the P-51 Mustang and the original textures.

    23. SF2 WW2 PTO B-25G Mitchell, 823rd BS Replacement Skin

      SF2 WW2 PTO B-25G Mitchell, 823rd BS Replacement Skin 7/29/2014

-- Something for the WW2 PTO players --

      = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

First off, my apologies to everyone, especially Veltro2K. When I sent the original B-25G package to him, I'd used the "blank" skin, without the squadron specific marking for the 823rd BS.

THIS skin will replace the original one in that package. It now carries the correct color markings on the tail and cowlings for the "Tigers".
Also included, just for fun, is a extra unmarked skin, named "blank-b-25g.jpg", without any markings for other texture artists to use in creating other units, if they wish.
This replacement skin is exactly the same, so no adjustments to the decals or anything else will be required.

Installation is simple: just unzip the archive, and drop into you PTO mods folder, or where ever you've installed the B-25G (mind you, this =IS= a PTO specific skin!!)

      Again, my apologies.

      Good Hunting!

This skin is for the 82nd Bomb Squadron of the 12th Bomb Group, as used in =BOTH= the MTO and CBI (specificly, India/Burma with occasional side trips to China). In early 1944 the entire 12th BG transfered to India, bringing along all their hardware. Individual aircraft markings (ie: battle numbers) used the MTO stayed exacty the same in the CBI for the entire Group.
The skin is in jpg format, and the aircraft is finished in standard OD/Grey.
All markings are decals, and Decal Randomization is TRUE. There ARE nose arts (4 to be exact), and those have been matched to their exact aircraft via serial number. All other serials should be considered 'generic' in nature, but ARE for this version of the Mitchell.
