This model represents the long-hull straight-deck Essex class aircraft carriers, beginning with CV-14 USS Ticonderoga circa 1944. These ships were about 5 meters longer than the original CV-9 Essex, and featured heavier anti-aircraft armament.
 
Two versions of the ship are included: The original WW2 configuration, and the jet-capable Korean War era modernization. Decals for each unit are included. Random aircraft parking has been designed for currently available models with folding wings.
 
In addition to its complement of aircraft, each ship is armed with a battery of twin 5" guns and single 5" guns, plus a vast number of 40mm Bofors and 20mm Oerlikon anti-aircraft guns.
 
Please see the readme for full details and credits. Because this is a very high-poly, high-definition model, instructions are also included to improve framerate for those of us without premium supercomputers.
 
 
 
This model is dedicated to Wrench, who requested it, and who provides us with great playgrounds for all our toys.

This model represents the Iver Huitfeldt class frigate of the Royal Danish Navy, in commission since 2011. They are dedicated air defense frigates based on the same hull as the Absalon class support ship. Please be sure to download that ship as well to enable Danish task forces on appropriate terrains.
 
The Iver Huitfeldt is very heavily armed for its size, and loadouts can be swapped easily using the StanFlex system. This model has a typical cofiguration of a 76mm rapid gun, two 35mm Millenium CIWS, a 32-cell Mk41 VLS with SM-2, two 12-cell Mk56 VLS with ESSM, and four 4-round Harpoon launchers.
 
The flight deck can support one medium helicopter. An update patch is included in this package that will enable a helicopter deck on the Absalon as well.

This model represents the Forbin class frigate of the French Navy, in service from 2008 to present. The Forbin is part of the Horizon program of air defense frigates for France and Italy.
 
Two of the class have been built for the French Navy, replacing the Suffren class. The Italian Horizon differs significantly in loadout, and is not included in this package.
 
The Forbin is armed with two super-rapid 76mm guns and 20mm GIAT cannons, eight MM40 Block 3 Exocet missiles, Mistral short-range SAMs in two Sadral launchers, and 48 Aster 30 SAMs in Sylver VLS. (The sound effect for the Aster missiles is taken from actual test footage.) The flight deck can support one medium helicopter.
 
Early and late versions of the Mistral missile are included. They are compatible with other ground objects as well as helicopters (using "SpecificStationCode=mistral").
 
You may also wish to download my Aquitaine and La Fayette frigates to complete your collection of modern French surface combatants.

This model represents the Aquitaine class frigate of the French Navy, in service from 2012 to present. The Aquitaine is the first ship of the FREMM (Fregate europeenne multi-mission) program, designed to replace the Cold War era frigates of the French and Italian navies.
 
At the time of this writing, only three of the class have been comissioned for the French Navy, but at least nine are planned. Two have been sold to foreign navies (Morocco and Egypt). The Italian FREMM differs significantly in loadout and mission, and is not included in this package.
 
The Aquitaine is armed with a super-rapid 76mm gun, 20mm Narwhal remote weapons, eight MM40 Block 3 Exocet missiles, and 32 Aster 15 SAMs in Sylver VLS. (The sound effect for the Aster missiles is taken from actual test footage.) The flight deck can support one medium helicopter.

Votsis Class ( Combattante IIa or S-148 Type Class or Tiger-class fast attack craft)
 
The Type 148 Tiger class fast attack craft is a modification of the French La Combattante II design for the Bundesmarine (German Federal Navy).
The La Combattante had been designed by Lurssen of Germany for Israel, but were built in France by Constructions
Mecaniques de Normandie in Cherbourg (CMN) for political reasons.
Eight of the boats were laid down by CMH, but completed by Lurssen.
 
The boats were commissioned into the Bundesmarine in the mid-1970s, replacing the Jaguar-class boats of the 3rd and 5th Squadrons.
At first the boats did not receive names, only numbers, but these were introduced later at the insistence of the crews.
 
The ships served for 30 years, and received major updates in 1982—84 and 1990—92.
After decommissioning they were scrapped or sold to different countries.
No direct replacements were procured as due to the changed operating conditions the Deutsche Marine has reduced the number of these
fast attack boats drastically and procured instead a smaller number of corvettes.
In total 20 crafts were built and served with German Federal Navy of which six
..............(6) were transferred to Greece the period 1994-1995 and 2000,P72-P73-P76-P77(Exocet) & P74-P75(Harpoon)
six (6) to Chile the period 1997-1998
and five (5) to Egypt in 2002 while the remaining three (3) were scrapped.
The class is the older class of FACs in service with the three navies and it is about to be decommissioned and to be replaced by modern vessels;
currently in Hellenic Navy they serve three (3) boats which will be replaced after the commissioning of more of Roussen class FACs,
in Chilean Navy they serve two (2)
and in Egypt all the boats with plans the vessels to be replaced as well.

This is the PG 1-go Class Patrol Craft of the JMSDF
 
The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) selected a modified version of the Sparviero class as a replacement for its PT 11 class torpedo boats. A license agreement was signed in 1991 to build up to 12 Sparvieros, with the first two approved in FY90 and both were laid down by Sumitomo in Uraga on 25 March 1991. An order for a third boat was delayed to help pay for Japan's contribution to the Gulf War, with it not being laid down until 1993. A request for a fourth boat under the FY 95 budget was rejected, and plans for further hydrofoils abandoned.[3][8]
 
The Japanese chose different armament than used in the Italian boats, with up to four Type 90 Ship-to-Ship Missiles replacing the Otomats and a non-stabilised 20 mm M61 Vulcan rotary cannon replacing the larger Oto Melara gun. The main powerplant is a 5,200 shp (3,900 kW) General Electric LM500 gas turbine.

The Command and Air Defense Frigate DeZeven Provincien area series of 4 ships build in the Netherlands to provide the Royal Netherlands Navy with a modern Air defense ship.
 
Its armed with the RIM-66 Missile (32 Missiles in MK-41 VLS ) controlled by a Thales Netherlands (former SIGNAAL) APAR radar. also it has one (provision for two) Goalkeeper CIWS, HMGs and provision for 32 ESSM missiles ( 8 quad vls launchers).
 
She have been in service since 2002, and recently were deployed in the Counter Piracy operations in the Gulf of Aden and Horn of Africa.
 
This model was made possible thanks to the help of my friend WhiteBoySamurai, who edited and improve my original 3d model, made textures, edit and correct ini files and put everything in order to release. Without his help this project will be still in the dry dock.

This file represents the Absalom Class support Ship of the Royal Danish Navy, an innovative design that allows a multipurpose command and support ship with the firepower of a frigate.
 
The Absalon class are support ships of the Royal Danish Navy, commissioned in 2005. The two ships in the class may be described as an hybrid between a Frigate and military transport ship with multi role capabilities, with the capacity for being transformed from a combat ship with the firepower of a traditional frigate to a hospital ship within a day
 
The class is based on a frigate-like design, but built with an internal multipurpose deck (flex deck) and a stern vehicle ramp. The ships can serve as command platforms for a staff of 75 persons (naval or joint staff) with a containerized command and control centre, transport and base of operations for a company-sized landing force of some 200 men with vehicles. Alternatively, the flex deck can be used for mine-laying operations with a capacity of some 300 mines, or be fitted out for mine-clearing operations and launch and recover mine detecting and clearing equipment via a retractable gantry crane, adjacent to the stern vehicle ramp, which also is used for launching and recovering the fast landing craft. Furthermore the flex deck can support a containerized hospital or simply transport a number of ISO standard containers or some 55 vehicles including, up to 7 MBTs. The ships can carry two LCPs (Storebro SB90E), two rigid hull inflatable boats and two EH101 helicopters.
The standard weapons of the Absalon class can be supplemented through the use of StanFlex mission modules. A special weapons deck (nicknamed the 'Bathtub') is designed with five StanFlex module slots.[7] Because of the Bathtub's position, only missile-firing weapons modules can be installed
Both ship have seen action in counter-piracy operations in the Horn of Africa, as part of the international effort to fight the piracy in the region, one of the most active maritime routes of the world.

This upload covers the Stockholm Class Corvette of the Swedish Navy. It has a Bofors 57mm MK3 Naval guna nad provition for 8 RBS-15 missiles
 
This is a initial Beta version for your evaluation, I need some help finding issues with the model and its performance in the game, so any critic will be welcomed

This is my first release for the community. It covers the Norwegian Skjold Class Patrol Craft (some sources refers them as fast corvettes). Two different skins are included, since i found two different color schemes for this craft in Internet. Any comment or constructive critic will be appreciated.
 
Thanks to the people who helped me with this craft, specially WhiteBoySamurai for the gun model and 3d max tips; and JonathanRL for the ini files edits.

This model represents the Kanimbla class, an amphibious transport in commission with the Royal Australian Navy from 1994 to 2011.
 
The Kanimbla and her sister ship Manoora were extensively modified Newport class landing ships transferred from the USN. While officially recommissioned in 1994, they did not enter RAN service until 1999 when the repairs and upgrades were finally completed.
 
The Kanimbla class has a large hangar for up to four helicopters, landing pads fore and aft, and an enormous crane capable of lifting 70 tons.

SF2 WW2 Brooklyn Class Light Cruiser 4/8/2015

This is a mod of Foxmonter's ARA General Belgrano BACK to it's original USN WW2 version (pretty much!).
Data ini edits remove the missile lauchers, but all gun aramament remains intact.
The skin has been repainted to remove any post-war markings, and decals created for the hull numbers and ship names.
It is as fully SF2NA compliant as we can make it!
Guns, sounds, and the hull decals are all included.
 
This version will NOT conflict with any other ships of this type (DAT), as unique identifiers have been used to seperate and differentiate them from each other.
 
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, as usual, PLEASE!! give the "Notes" section a read, too.

This model represents the Newport class, a large tank landing ship designed for the US Navy. The class features a unique bow ramp, allowing vehicles to be loaded and unloaded more quickly and easily than other LST designs.
 
Twenty Newports were built, and they served in the USN from 1969, with the last being decomissioned in 2002. Most of them were then sold to foreign navies, including Australia, Brazil, Chile, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Spain, and Taiwan.
 
The Newport class is armed with two twin 3" gun turrets, plus a Phalanx CIWS following a 1980s refit. They can carry up to 30 heavy vehicles and 400 infantry.
 
Note: Australia's Kanimbla class will require extensive modifications to the model and will be included in a separate package.

This is a slight rebuild of Hinchbrooke's VINDICTIVE class 'what if' fleet carrier into an even more what if.
This represents the HMS MALTA class CVAs of the 1960s. (see Notes for 'historical notes'). All 4 ships of the class are represented.

This model represents the Kang Ding class frigate of the Republic of China Navy, in service from 1996 to present. They are a version of the La Fayette class built for Taiwan. Six Kang Ding class ships are now in ROCN service.
 
The Kang Ding has slightly different structure and electronics from the La Fayette, and entirely different weapon systems. She is armed with a 76mm gun, two Bofors 40mm guns, Phalanx CIWS, Sea Chaparral point defense SAMs, and Hsiung Feng II anti-ship missiles.
 
Note: You will require a capital ship to create a proper task group in game, such as the Kee Lung class (Taiwan's most powerful warship), available here. Other modern ROCN vessels are available here.

This model represents the La Fayette class frigate of the French Navy, in service from 1996 to present. Referred to as a stealth frigate, the La Fayette's angled design and radar-absorbent composites greatly reduce its radar cross section.
 
Five La Fayette class ships are now in French service, and export variants have been sold to Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore (not included in this package).
 
The La Fayette is armed with a modernized 100mm gun, 20mm close in weapons, eight MM40 Exocet missiles, and eight Crotale missiles (with reloads). The flight deck can support one medium helicopter.

The Dupuy de Lôme (A759),
named after the 19th century engineer Henri Dupuy de Lôme,
is a ship designed for the collection of signals and communications beyond enemy lines,
which entered the service of the French Navy in April 2006.
In contrast to the Bougainville, the ship that she replaced, the Dupuy de Lôme was specifically designed
for sea intelligence, pursuant to the MINREM project
(Moyen Interarmées Naval deRecherche ElectroMagnétique,
"Joint Naval Resources for Electromagnetic Research").

This model represents the Jeanne d'Arc helicopter cruiser of the French Navy, in service from 1964 to 2010. The only ship of her class, "La Jeanne" was primarily used as a training ship in peacetime, but could serve as a fully capable helicopter carrier in times of crisis.
 
Three different versions are included, covering each major refit of her long service life. Exocet missile launchers were added in 1975, while the aft guns were removed and some electronics were replaced in 2000.
 
The Jeanne d'Arc's large flight deck can handle the simultaneous launch of up to four helicopters. Nighttime deck lights and fake arresting wires are in place for your convenience.
 
Note: This model's role is designated as an aircraft carrier by default. You may change this by setting WarshipClass=CRUISER or WarshipClass=TRANSPORT depending on your preference.
