    2. A-4G Skyhawk (VF-805)

      A-4G Skyhawk
      (r1 - 1976 - VF-805)

      This mod should ultimately cover the whole VF-805 career of the Australian A-4G, however since it started for a very specific project of mine, it will be released as-is and updated whenever (if ever) the rest is done.
      For that reason, if you have an interest on the topic and are willing to correct or complete the set, do feel free to do so, it's a safer bet than waiting for the next release.

      It has been built with/for SF2, it requires Thirdwire's A-4E and A-4F to work, there should be no other prerequisite.

      r1 includes only the mid-70's skin, as my project focuses on the year 1976.
      The skin and decals are as correct as I'm willing/able to do based on Thirdwire's skin.
      All plane and serial numbers are correctly paired and historically correct (all planes crashed before 1976 are not present).
      The only inaccuracy is the fact that some of the planes present were affected to VC-724, however, in case of conflict and to cope with attrition they would have been transferred to VF-805, hence their presence in this mod.

      Gunrunner

      Grey areas :

      - On most pictures the A-4G in '76 had the area surrounding the gun muzzle painted black, on some, a square area on the fuselage was painted black and on other, nothing was painted black at all, no text gives any reason for that or precise reference, therefore it's been left as stock.
      - Likewise, most sources claim some A-4G were not fitted with guns, without providing the serial number of those planes or whether this was a temporary or permanent change; Moreover, I couldn't find photographic evidence of a gunless A-4G.
      - The current INI is a hybrid of A-4E and A-4F, uses an A-4F cockpit with A-4E avionics, I lack sources and will to do any better at the moment, it will have to do.

      Optionnally, you can add VF-805 "Checkerboards" to your SquadronList.ini, however it is only a nicety and the skin doesn't rely on it.

      [squadronxxx]
      Name=RAN_805
      DisplayName=805 Sq. "Checkerboards"
      Nation=AustralianNavy

      TO DO :

      - Replace the antennas by accurate ones.
      - Have missile rails for outer pylons use with Sidewinders.
      - Add the late 60's VF-805 skin (without checkerboard).
      - Add the early 70's VF-805 skin (with checkerboard on the rudder).
      - Add the late 70's VF-805 skin (grey camo with knight).

    4. SF2 HAF F-4E_SRA

      SF2 HAF F-4E_SRA

      Short History:

      During Operation Desert Storm in 1991, Greece played a secondary role with its Hellenic Navy Kortenaer Frigate 'Elli'.
      As a gesture of gratitude, the Bush Administration supplied the HAF with, among other equipment, a further 28 refurbished and upgraded F-4Es, Which came from the Indiana ANG's 113th and 163rd Tactical Figher Wings.
      The ex-ANG models, knows as South Eastern Regional Amendament (SRA) among the Greek crews, were aging but extremely capable aircrafts.
      All the F-4E_SRA were passed to 338 Squadron, which expanded its air-to-ground role.
      During the HAF Peace Icarus 2000 program, all the F-4E_SRA from the 338 squadron were transferred to the 337 squadron.
      In 2004 with the defence budget cuts, a number of fighters were withdrawn - including the 26 remaining F-4E_SRA Phantoms.
      The last flight of the 337 squadron's SRA Phantom took place on May 29, 2006 when squadron commander Lt Col. Theodoros Syrmos deliverd his aircraft to Mikra Internation Airport, Thessaloniki for storage.

      This is for SF2 merged install.

    5. P-2H "Neptune" Skins/Decals and Ini Update Pak

      P-2H "Neptune" Skins/Decals and Ini Update Pak

      -- For SF2, Any & All --

      This is a mod of the original P-2H (P2V-7) released by Tracker and the Argentine Modders Group, incorporating some tweeks perfomred by ChampionsVA56
      You do NOT need to original download, but if you want the COAN skins, you'll need it to add them.

      All inis, lods, etc, and 3 new skin and decal sets are provided. The inis have been 'adjusted' back to original USN state, with a completely new UserList.ini, descripting the different countries that used this late-model Neptune. (NOTE: RAF is not listed, as they used only earlier models, with the gun turrets. Hopefully, I also got the users & years farily close, too)

      Skins included in this set are:

      VP-18 "Flying Phantoms", NAS Jacksonville as seen during the Cuban Missile Crisis

      VP-65 "Tridents", NAS Point Magu, in the mid/late 1960s through the 1970s

      VP-69 "Totems", NAS Whidbey Island, in the 1970s *

      (* revamped version of pappychksix's, now with decals)

      All new decals are included, many with historically matching BuNums-to-Modex numbers (wherever possible, and the information was discoverable). The Basic Skins ™ for the USN Gull Gray/White and Seaplane Gray and White, can be used for many other countries, simply by creating new skin folders, copying the relevant files, and creating new textureset and decals inis that reference the proper markings and nationality.

      A new weapon is included; the Mk.44 lightweight torpedo (note: it needs a new lod, as it's using the Mk.13 which is too long, but it works just fine!!). Loadouts have been corrected, with some reengineering of mounting points. Not perfect, but very workable.
      Other ini edits use Champ's landing gear & light fix, and I've replaced the pilot figures with the stock 'Prop_Pilot' with the baseball cap. The engine sound has also been replaced, and supplied. It's not what I consider a perfect match, but it's seems what should be farily close.

      As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install.

      Warning Note: If installing fresh, do not use the original download;s inis, use these =ONLY=!!! If/when installing the COAN skins, use =ONLY= the skins, and nothing else!! You will mess things up severly, and have to start completly over.

      Happy Landings!

    6. QF-104A

      Lockheed QF-104A Starfighter for Strike Fighters 2

      The QF-104A was a special modified version of the (Y)F-104A Star-fighter which could be flown remotely controlled. The control was done by F-104 pilots on the ground or inside another aircraft.
      The conversion of the (Y)F-104A to QF-104A was approved on 19 Februar 1960 by the USAF. Testing of the QF was conducted during the period of 9 Januar 1961 to 16 October 1961.
      The reason for converting the (Y)F-104A was the need for high altitude, high mach targets for the development of ground-to-air (BOMARC) and air-to-air (AIM7 - AIM9 - GAR2B - MB1 - AIM4) missiles.
      At the end of the summer in 1972 the QF-104 drone program had come to an end and the F-104D's were handed over to the Puerto Rice ANG which could use them very well. All of the personnel that were in the QF-104 program were reassigned to other duties and bases.
      In total 24 QF-104's have been used by the USAF. Twenthy of them were actually killed as targets and 1 crashed while flying a manned mission. The pilot ejected safely.
      What has happened to the other 3 aircraft is not known but it is very likely that they have been withdrawn from use.
      In total the drone-flight has accomplished 162 unmanned missions. Most of the QF mission were flown at Eglin AFB. However, some were flown at Holloman AFB (NewMexico) and a small number at Point Mugu NAS in California (for the US NAVY).

      The QF-104A were of course different from the normal 104’s.
      The most important modifications/changes included (in reality there are a lot more...) :

      1 - The QF-104A received anti-skid brakes.
      2 - A smoke-generator was applied (JP-4 pumped into the exhaust).
      3 - Remote control system to fly the aircraft unmanned.
      4 - A dayglow paintscheme was applied. It was an “eyecatcher”.
      Originally the aircraft serial numbers were painted white. This was unsatisfactory as they were not highly visible against the dayglow. For that reason they were changed to black lateron.
      5 - A special system which is able to make in flight air-starts remotely. In fact several were successfully made over the years.
      6 - Due to the high-rate of stall problems with the GE J79 3A engines the QF was repowered by the 3B version of this engine. This solved the stall-problems.
      7 - A self-destruction device was mounted on the QF for emergency reasons. This device was remotely controlled
      8 - A changed cockpit layout to support all typical QF-104 systems.
      9 - Additional gun-bay and case storage fuel tanks.
      10 - Optical (5) camera scoring system. Three camera’s were located in the nose radome and 2 could be found inside the left external fueltank.
      -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Pilot Notes:

      The default nation for this plane is USAF "friendly plane".
      Inside the QF-104A there is a folder named "For Mescalero Proving Grounds", if you want to use this aircraft with that mod simply replace the data.ini file. Now it will be a "red" target. :'(
      -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Installation:

      Simply copy all the files in the respective directory of your game folder.

    8. TMF's Mirage F.1C for SF2

      Dassault Mirage F.1C by TMF

      For SF2 (any and all, Merged or not)

      This is a semi-complete upgrade of The Mirage Factory's Mirage F.1C to SF2 standards.I call this 'semi-complete', as some tweeks are still needed (see "Notes" below). A cockpit upgrade, loosly based on my AMI F-104S-ASA-M adds a working HUD for all modes, various A-A modes, and Ground Mapping. Some functions may be too modern, but hey, it all works!!! The cockpit is still the Zippers, as originally released with. A new userlist ini is also included, with hopefully everyone and fairly close operational years. A new SF2 style Hangar screen is also included!

      Several weapons are included, from the GunnyPak. Loadouts are set for mostly French weapons, with the occasional NATO slipping in (Sidewinders in the early operational years). (see Notes for comments on the desert skinned drop tank)
      Skins and decals included in this pak are from (iirc) the original release, and maybe some others:

      AdA Blue
      EDA Camo
      Greece Blue
      Desert

      As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs/requires/should have, to make it a LOT easier to install. Also, as usual, the expected 'Notes and Other Nonesense' comments by me. PLEASE read them.

      With special Thanks to TMF & Sony Tuckson for giving permission to modifiy and upload.

      Good Hunting!

    10. F-4K Phantom II, Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm

      MDD F-4K Phantom (FG.1) Royal Navy/Royal Air Force

      -- For SF2, Full-4 Merged (Prefered) and/or SF2:E ONLY!!! --

      As stated above, you =MUST= have either a Full-4 Merged install, or at the VERY LEAST SF2:E to make use of this mod package, as it references all stock items for the aircraft and cockpit that are =ONLY= found in SF2E or Full4 Merged game installs; is uses the F-4M lods for the aircraft and cockpit, as well as the various other inis. Some, however, ARE supplied, as I made adjustments and so forth.

      This package represents F-4K/FG.1 Phantoms of the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm, and later as serving in the RAF

      Skins and decals in the pak are for:

      767 Squadron, FAA (?Land based in UK and The Continent?)*
      892 Squadron, FAA (aboard HMS Ark Royal)*
      "Generic" RAF Camo (stock skin; uses stock decals for 19 Squadron)
      111 Squadron RAF (Barley Gray)**

      *Skins and decals were created by Sundowner some years ago

      **maybe non-historical; it's possible that 111 used FG.1s upgraded to FG.2, with addition of the RWR 'box' on fin. But the skin is too nice to let go!

      All weapons used are stock in-game items. Minor data ini edits allow for carrier useage, and a maunaly operated canopy. Use Shift/0 to open and close. A new artwork loading screen is also included.
      Remember: this is the early model, withOUT the ECM/RWR fairings on the tail, and no RWR of any kind!! So watch you be-hinds!!

      As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs/requires/should have, to make it a LOT easier to install.

    11. Mistubishi T-2 (for SF2)

      JASDF Mitsubishi T-2 Trainer For SF2
      For SF2 (may require SF2E or I for some of the HUD bits)

      As stated above, due to the use of pointers to the F-15A HUD markers, this may best be used in a Full-4 Merged install, or at the very least, those with SF2:E.

      This is a mods package of Veltro2K's JASDF advanced trainer, to bring it into SF2. This is the complete aircrft package, containing everything needed to unzip and install. Most of the mods are to the various inis, and new serial number decals. Otherwise, it is the complete pack as Veltro released it (just slightly tweekificated).

      The data ini has also had some minor mods; mostly in engine thrust, weight, etc. The FM is not perfect, but it handles just fine for me on Normal flight mode. A userlist is supplied, even though these are Japanese-only aircarft; not built for export. Weither that makes a difference for not, don't know! But, it IS locked into a 'nationalized' usage. Also, my first attempt at a DDS damage texture -- please don't laugh too hard at it <grin>!! A new SF2-style hangar screen is also included.

      Loadouts have been adjusted, leaning slightly more for the attack/strike role than the Real Life ™ aircraft. In this respect, its more like the fighter-trainer version (FT-2B??) than the pure trainer. Most of the weapons used are stock in-game items, although one or 2 used (in particular the JM117-GSC1 EO bomb) are availble in the Mistubishi F-1 upgrade, to be found at the following url:

      http://combatace.com/files/file/11175-jasdf-mitsubishi-f-1-for-sf2/

      (however, this weapon is only avaliable after 1977; before that you'll get standard US EOGBs)

      All serial number decals ARE the actual ones as used; The info sheet in the Burindo book is/was a little vague and as I can't read Japanese... As is what I believe to be the 4 Hikotai tail badge; although it does look good!

      As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, highly detailed, step-by-step install instructions. This package is set up for a 'drag and drop' style of installation -- everything has been divided into the proper folder format that SF2 needs/wants/requires. Of course, the usual "Notes" section for other important stuff; might want to read it, eh?

    14. Dassault Mirage IIIO, RAAF

      Dassault Mirage IIIO, RAAF

      For SF2, Full-4 Merged -or, at MINIMUM!- SF2:E and/or SF2:I

      *Note: it should be stipulated at this time, that this aircraft mod is being released as a "stand in" until the proper 3 versions are completed and released by The Mirage Factory. At such time, my reccomendation is to delete this mod, as the TMF versions will be the correct 'body type' for F, A and F/A III0s as used by the RAAF*

      This mod creates a 'stand alone' aircraft, using all in-house/in-game stock bits, to recreate some of the Mirage IIIO (F/A) used by the RAAF. This makes this mod slightly historically innaccurate, as mentioned above, there were 3 versions. This sorta kinda combines them.

      You MUST have, at the least, SF2:E to access the MirageIIIC lods, and SF2:I to access the Shahak's cockpit. Therefore, this mod is truely, ONLY reccomended for a Full-4 Merged install, as the Game Engine will have full access to all the bits needed from the all the Object cats.

      The 5 Skins are included with the pak are:

      75 Squadron, in Natural Metal in the 1960s (called 75SqdnOld)
      76 Squadron, also in NM for the 1960s (called 76SqdnOld)
      3 Squadron, in gray/green camo for post-1970 usage *
      75 Squadron, also in G/G Camo
      77 Squadron, also in G/G camo

      (3 Sqdn not shown in screenie)
      *note: squadron badge decal is active, when in Real Life ™ it was not,according to what little photographic evidence I could discover. A simple edit of the decals ini will remove it for the Historically Correct practicioner.*

      As all markings are decals, it should be a simple matter for other skinners to create other squadrons by simply shifting decals around (Example: a NM 3 Squadron).

      All new, 100% historically accurate* serial number decals have been created for all aircraft. Data ini edits change (essentially) nothing, but nationalizing the aircraft to Australia, and adding landing lights. A new userlist is incuded . The canopy is activated via an animation key; use shift/0 to open and close it.
      Avionics mods add an audio-only RWR, and the Ground Mapping radar seen on the "A" variant, which was added to all at various times, creating the Mirage IIIO F/A. It's active on ALL, so just pretend. Loadouts are standard 3rdWire. No weapons pak is needed, and it should work with any/all/or none (ie: stock weapons)

      *My research has shown that pretty much ALL the 116 III0s served with pretty much ALL RAAF Mirage squadrons at one time or another. So, don't be surprised to see some serials duplicated.*

      As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs/requires/should have to make it a LOT easier to install. Also, as usual, the expected 'Notes and Other Nonesense' comments by me.

      Good Hunting!

      NOTE: this pack became moot with the release of the Oz Mirage DLC package. However, this one WILL still work, some a little renaming edit to remove conflicting names, and/or these decals can EASILY be used on the DLC Mirage IIIO

    15. DH Sea Vixen FAW.1 & FAW.2

      DH Sea Vixen FAW.1 & FAW2 for SF2
      = For SF2, Any and All =

      This is an upgrade/mod of Skippybings Sea Vixens, BOTH the FAW.1 and FAW.2 - so you get two complete aircraft in one pakcage!!! Such a deal!!! (Unfortunatley, this IS a rather large package...so, sorry!). This was done simply to make it easier for you, the End User ™ to install. (Almost) Everything necessary to unzip, install, and fly away is supplied.
      Included are updated versions of the BunyPak FirestreakIR and RedtopIR*, and the drop tanks. All other weapons used are stock items (with the possible exception of the AGM-12C Bullpup -not supplied- which may be from the GunnyPak)

      *=these are seperate missile from the 3W Firestreak & Redtops; for use only on the Javelin and Sea Vixen FAW1 & FAW2. This was done on purpose -don't mess with this!!! Seriously .. don't. All things are done for a reason.*

      Skins/decal sets included are:
      FAW.1:

      890 NAS (w/one Sundowner bmp, edited by me, so as not to waste decals)
      892 NAS
      893 NAS
      899 NAS (these all by Sundowner)

      FAW.2:

      766 NAS
      893 NAS
      899 NAS (all Sundowner skins!!)

      Where possible, the Squadron Badge has been used for the paint chip in the Loadout Screen.

      Data and loadout changes duplicate the hardpoints (on the FAW.1 only); one set is ONLY for missiles, the other is ONLY for use bombs and rocket pods. Other tweeks to the avionics and cockpit 'clean up' or replace a few gauge skins, a new gunsight and missile "shoot cues" were created/modified from others.
      A "new" engine sound is supplied for the Avons. Both aircraft have SF2 stlye 'carrier deck' hangar screens, and the damage/shredded tgas have been converted to dds (hope they work!!!). Flight model remains untouched; it "feels" about right. Remember -it's a gunless, missile-only armed Interceptor, NOT a dogfighter!! Fly accordingly!!

      As a bonus, for those End Users ™ with SF2:E AND with Expansion Pak2, there are alternate Data and Loadout inis for the FAW.1, adding the 2inch Micro-cell rockets. Usefull for hitting bombers, trucks, ships and other assorted annoyances. REMEMBER --these are 2 seperate inis, and you'll need SF2E Exp2 to get them to work. Instructions on how to switch are below in the "To Install" section. (these were removed on the FAW.2, so don't go adding them!)

      As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, highly detailed, step-by-step install instructions. This package is set up for a 'drag and drop' style of installation -- everything has been divided into the proper folder format that SF2 needs/wants/requires. Of course, the usual "Notes" section for other important stuff; might want to read it, huh? VERY Important info in there... So, PLEASE read it through after unzipping, but before installing. The procedures for missile firing should be reviewed.

      Let's hope this one works!

    19. SAAB J29F Tunnan for SF2

      SAAB J29F Tunnan for SF2
      = For SF2, Full-4 Merged, and/or SF2E

      --
      *Important Note:
      The main reason for SF2 and/or SF2E, is this aircraft now uses the stock Hunter FGA.9 cockpit. Should be available in all versions, excepting stand-alone SF2V (and even then, possibly when merged, even using the SF2V exe?). In other words ... any SF2 install that has access to the Hunter 9's cockpit parts.
      ---

      This is an upgrade/mod of the SAAB J29F Tunnan, as released by Phlerp & Co in either 2004 or 2006 (the lod is dated 2004, and the original readme in dated 2006. Go Figure!)

      Several small tweeks to the various inis have been done; the cockpit switched to the stock Hunter 9, all skins and decals are setup SF2 style, and all weapons for this aircraft are included. I couldn't positiviely ID the canopy node, so that is NOT working. The weapons are taken from the GunnyPak, so if you have them installed, just allow the overwrite. There are also landing lights.<grin> The destroyed model uses a stock 3rdWire one available in ALL versions, so won't be any issue there (Fresco).

      The damage textures have been converted to dds format; however the original tgas ARE included. A new SF2-style hangar screen in included. Avionics mods adds a radar-ranging gunsight (weither this is historically accurate??? don't know!). A new Userlist ini is included; with luck I got the years right (or close enough)

      As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, highly detailed, step-by-step install instructions. This package is set up for a 'drag and drop' style of installation -- everything has been divided into the proper folder format that SF2 needs/wants/requires. Of course, the usual "Notes" section for other stuff.

      Happy Landings!

    21. Hi Res lightnings

      This is just a set of skins I've had lying around for ages now, they're set up as stand alone planes because they use slightly different bump maps than those supplied by TK, otherwise everything else is the same as stock.

      You can add the skins to the stock aircraft folders if you dont want any more planes in your menue and dont mind some details not lining up correctly in certain light conditions.

    22. Swing-Wing Fitters for SF2

      ----------------------------------------
      SF2 Su-17/20/22 Swing-Wing Fitters
      ----------------------------------------

      This mod package contains a collection of Su-17, Su-20, and Su-22 Fitters, all converted and updated to SF2 standards. Included in the package are all the weapons, sounds, pilots, and seats that you will need to install and use any of the aircraft in this package.

      These aircraft can be used in SF2, SF2E, SF2V, or SF2I. To install and use them, you should ensure that your SF2 installation is patched to at least the Dec2009 patch level. See below for installation instructions.

      ~~~~~~~~~~~~
      Installation
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~

      To install, simply drag the \Objects and \Sounds folders to your SF2 Mods Folder (NOT the folder that the game installs to). By default your Mod Folder should be located here:

      Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\[username]\My Documents\ThirdWire\[Game]\
      Windows Vista: \Users\[username]\Saved Games\ThirdWire\[Game]\
      Windows 7: \Users\[username]\Saved Games\ThirdWire\[Game]\

      ...where [username] is the account you log into within Windows and [Game] is the name of the particular game mod folder that you're moving the files to. If the aircraft are not showing up in your Single Mission Aircraft menu, then you didn't install all the bits correctly.

      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      Aircraft & Nations Included
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

      The following aircraft are included in this package:

      Su-17M Fitter-C Su-20A/B Fitter-C

      A Few Notes About This Package
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      Those familiar with Lindr2's Fitter packages for SFP1 will rightly recognize that this updated package builds on his earlier efforts. Although I have largely followed Lindr2's lead in assembling this package, there are some noteworthy differences between his SFP1 collections and this one:
      1) Limited use of AmokFloo's Su-17M model
      Where Lindr2 used AmokFloo's Su-17M (from 2008) to represent the -17, -17M, -17M2, -20A, -20B, and -22F, I have opted to use ArmourDave's earlier Su-17 model (from 2003) for the -20A, -20B, and -22F. Although AmokFloo's model is arguably better-suited in many ways to stand in for those early export versions, ArmourDave's model has a wider range of skins available to represent the various user nations of those aircraft. Sadly, there appear to be only three skins available for AmokFloo's model. If someone wants to do more skins for AmokFloo's model, I would be happy to release an updated version of this pack to make use of them.
      2) Adjusted weapon stations and loadouts
      Again, I have largely followed Lindr2' lead in this area, but I have adjusted the attachment positions of some weapon stations (esp. on ArmourDave's Su-17 model) and made some changes to the default loadouts for most aircraft. In particular, the loadouts for center fuselage stations needed changes, because with size of the PTB-800 or Tank600_Su-7 drop tanks, there simply isn't enough room to load both tanks and weapons on the front and back fuselage stations. The default loadouts load weapons (rockets, bombs) on all four stations or tanks alone on the rear stations, but never a mix of weapons and tanks on front and rear. Note that the Loadout screen *will* let you load the fuselage stations with weapons and tanks simultaneously -- just don't do that. (And, if you do, don't complain to me about the unsightly result.)
      3) Wider range of skins/nations
      You will find a wider range of skins used to represent more nations. I am not an expert on the operational history of the swing-wing Fitters. Still less am I a skilled texture artist, so I make no claim that these skins are 100% historically accurate in their depiction of these aircraft as used by so many different nations. I did consult online references and looked at quite a few photos while putting together this package, and I do think it represents a general improvement over what was available before. If you've got better data and/or better skins, please do share -- I'd be happy to do an updated, more accurate version of the package.
      This package largely consists of work done by others and released previously in other packages. All I did was assemble the package, update the bits to SF2 standards, and make minor adjustments and tweaks here and there (discussed above).
    23. B-58A Huster for SF Upgrade/Update Pak
      B-58A "Hustler"
      -- For SF2, Any and All --
      This is a modification of Pasko's B-58 Hustler, to bring it more in line with SF2 standards.
      If you have the 2009 SF2 Update, just install this directly OVER your pre-existing folders, allowing the overwrite. If you don't, don't worry about it.
      Two skins are included (the same basic skin used twice), with all new 100% Historicaly Correct ™ serial numbers, listing each operational aircraft that served with the 43rd and 305th Bomb Wings. Unfortunatly, I was unable to break them down each into which served with each of the 6 Squadrons in the 2 Wings, but this should do nicely.
      There are also 2 cockpits included:
      The original SF2 mod by Dave (USAFMTL), that uses the F-106 pit and,
      An extensivelly modified F-4 Phantom pit (stock 3W ini only -as the cockpit exists in all versions of the game). This one makes use of many 'moves' to drop items out if sight, and uses the physical external model for the windshield framing.
      Neither one is perfect ... this is elaborated further in the "Notes" section, with instructions on what to switch or turn off in the various inis; depending on which you choose. Right now, it's using the Phantom pit, as it really is quite a bit closer than the 106's.
      In the Loadout ini, several alternate loadouts are listed. These can be accessed from the 3rdWire mission editor screen (for post-Expansion Pak 2 users). Other ini edits repositon the running & landing lights, add 'virtual' flaps (as this aircraft made use of drooping elevons -without the original source file this is impossible to duplicate-), minor engine adjustments, and avionics tweeks. It could also stand a slightly improved FM; the changes and other comments are in the "Notes" section. Weapons are included, the nuke explosion effects are =NOT=. YOu should probably have them from the GunnyPak. Speaking of weapons, a "new" 8kt ARM is included; this is a fictional ARM version of the Genie, more in line with "Fail Safe" and the No.6 Decoy/EW/Escort aircraft, and gives you a SEAD load. Kill SAM sites DEAD!!! Since real decoys don't/can't exist....it's just for fun! There's also and EO version, that can be used for STRIKE or SEAD missions.
      As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs/requires/should have, to make it a LOT easier to install. Also, as usual, the expected 'Notes and Other Nonesense' comments by me. This =IS= Required reading -- there are some issues that are addressed there.
